An Empirical Study on the Effect of Humor Sense of Leader on Innovative Behavior and the Moderating Effects of Empowerment (리더의 유머감각이 구성원의 혁신행동에 미치는 영향 및 임파워먼트의 조절효과에 관한 연구)

  • The purposes of this research are to examine the effect of humor sense of leader on innovative behavior and to examine the moderating effects of empowerment on the relationship between humor sense of leader and innovative behavior. For these purposes, literature review and survey research were conducted. The 350 questionnaires were sent to the 10 manufactural firms in the Pusan and Kyungsang Nam-Do region for empirical analysis. Total 276 usable responses were collected(effective response rate : 78.86%). The major findings of the empirical research are as follows ; First, generation of humor, use of humor, attitude of humor and evaluation of humor which are composed factors of humor sense of leader have positive influence innovative behavior. Second, composed factors of humor sense of leader have differential influence on innovative behavior by empowerment. In conclusion, humor sense of leader is expected to improve innovative behavior which is individual behavior in an organization. Therefore, managers have to develop innovative behavior by exhibiting humor sense, considering empowerment.

  • This study aims to suggest the method for an effective conflict management to private security workers by investigating the impact of complicit management that recognized by private security, guard on trust for leader and turnover intention according to the complicit management type of private security, guard. The subjects was sampled by using purposive sampling method after selecting security, guard who work in private guard company registered in the Police Department in Seoul in 2010. Respondents of this study was sampled a total of 250 people and collected the sample of 234 people, and the number of cases used in the final analysis was 210 people. The entered data was processed by using SPSSWIN 17.0 Version to apply factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The result of reliability analysis of the questionnaire was Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ value of 0.838~0.859. First, combination, compromise, and grace the sub factors of the conflict management of private security, guard affect on trust for leader. Second, compromise, grace, and rule the sub factors of the conflict management of private security, guard has a negative effect on turnover intention. Third, the trust to leader has a negative effect on turnover intention.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of coaching leadership on the employability of organizational members and to investigate the mediating effect of protean career attitude and the moderating effect of leader trust. A questionnaire was conducted on domestic office workers, and analysis was conducted using AMOS and Process macro (Hayes, 2013) based on the effective questionnaire of 389 people. As a result of the study, first, the direct effect between coaching leadership and employee employability was significant. Second, it was confirmed that the mediating effect of coaching leadership strengthening the protean career attitude of members and improving employability through this was significant. Third, the moderating effect of leader trust was confirmed in the relationship between coaching leadership and protean career attitude. Fourth, the moderated mediating effect of coaching leadership on employability through protean career attitude was reinforced by leader trust was confirmed. This study contributes to the expansion of leadership research by empirically identifying the mechanism between coaching leadership and employability of organizational members, which has been lacking in research. In addition, theoretical and practical implications of the research results, limitations of the research, and directions for future research were presented.

군자리더십측정을 위한 문항개발연구

  • 리더의 리더십이 팀 또는 조직의 효과성에 기여하기 위해서는 리더의 영향력을 구성원들이 수용하고 목표달성을 위해 노력하도록 구성원들을 동기부여시켜야 한다. 그런데, 리더의 영향력을 수용하고 추종하는데 구성원들간에 공유되어 있는 리더에 대한 표상에 리더가 일치하여야 한다. 이상적 리더에 대한 공유된 표상에는 그 사회문화에서 지배적인 가치규범이 중요한 역할을 하게 된다. 본 연구는 이러한 가치의 역할이 중요하다는 인식에 착안하여 한국인의 사고와 행동방식에 지대한 영향을 미쳐온 전통적인 유교적 가치에서 가정하고 있는 이상적인 인간상으로서의 군자를 현대 경영조직상황하에서 리더십의 관점에서 살펴볼 것을 제안한다. 이를 위해 사서(四書)-논어, 맹자, 중용, 대학에서 제시된 군자의 성격 또는 행동적 특징들을 내용분석하여 리더십 구조를 정의내리고 이를 측정할 수 있는 설문문장을 개발하였다. 그 결과, 군자리더십은 자기계발(思學), 인간존중(忠恕), 예절중시(禮), 공정함(義), 사람 관리의 5개 요인구조를 가지고 있음을 발견하였다. 추후 연구에서는 개발된 설문문항의 신뢰성과 타당성을 검증하고, 본 연구에서 개발한 군자리더십이 실제 경영조직에서 경영자의 리더십효과성을 잘 설명해주는 변별력 있는 개념인지 검증하는 노력이 필요하다. 이는 서양의 보편적으로 효과적인 리더십 유형, 예를 들면, 변혁적 리더십 유형과 같은 경쟁모형의 도입을 통해 보다 더욱 생동감 있는 측정이 가능할 것이다. 아울러 유교적 가치와 현대적 가치로 대변되는 합리성에 기반한 서구의 가치가 군자리더십과 어떤 관계를 가지고 있는 지 살펴 볼 필요가 있다.

  • Organizational performance is directly associated with leaders' behavior and the importance of various leadership types are continuously emphasized. Various of leadership types are possessed of different roles and influences. Nowadays, Chinese organizations continue to reinforce social responsibility and demand ethical elements for continuous development of organization and performance improvement. It shows that the importance of ethical leadership is emphasized among Chinese organizations. Based on this phenomenon, this research focused on identifying the role of ethical leadership and verifying the level of performance. According to the current situation that requires innovation in relation to performance, we focused on the employees' innovative behavior. Furthermore, we also verified serial multiple mediating effects of trust in leader and voice behavior on the relationship between ethical leadership and innovative behavior. This research focused on 336 employees in Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises to conducted a survey and the data were used in empirical analysis. The results showed ethical leadership had a positive influence on innovative behavior. In additon, the serial multiple mediating effects of trust in leader and voice behavior were verified. Overall, this research focused on exploring performance that can be achieved through ethical leadership and finding the ways to improve performance. Finally, the future research related to ethical leadership and performance was presented.

  • This study attempted to show the importance of trust in a leader by empirically analyzing the relationship between transformational and transactional leadership, organizational effectiveness and trust in a leader. Four hypotheses were formulated and a survey was conducted to examine employees working in hotels in order to verify the hypotheses. Based on the data, leadership, trust in a leader, its relation with organizational effectiveness, and the mediating role of trust in a leader of a hotel were analyzed. The results showed that trust affects the partial mediating or the perfect mediating between leadership and organizational effectiveness. It is hoped that the result of this study will contribute to the development of leadership in the hotel industries in the future.

A Low-Power Hybrid ARQ Scheme for RFID System (RFID 시스템을 위한 저전력 Hybrid ARQ 방식)

  • RFID 시스템에서 소형화 추세 및 배터리 사용에 따라 태그 및 리더의 전송 전력을 최소화할 수 있는 저전력 설계가 반드시 필요하다. 또한 리더와 Tag는 무선으로 통신을 수행하며, 동시에 Tag는 이동성을 가지므로 에러율이 유선방식에 비해 상당히 높다. 그러나 현재 ISO표준에서는 에러발생시 MAC계층에서 단지 CRC체크 후 재전송을 하는 방식으로 에너지 효율성 및 전송효율이 떨어진다. 본 논문에서는 이 같은 문제를 해결하기 위해서 유통 물류 등에 사용되는 900MHz대역의 RFID시스템에서 에너지 소모 최소화와 신뢰성을 보장할 수 있는 방법으로 Hybrid ARQ를 제안한다. 기존의 Hybrid ARQ를 개선시켜 에너지 효율성을 고려한 최적패킷 길이를 사용하고, 에너지 소모가 적은 BCH Code를 채택한다. 성능 분석 및 시뮬레이션 결과, 제안하는 Hybrid ARQ 방식이 기존의 전송방식보다 에너지 효율성 및 신뢰성을 향상시킴을 보여준다.

The Impact of Experienced Conflict on Person-Organization Fit and Turnover Intention (갈등의 경험이 개인-조직 적합성과 이직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The current study aims to address the relationships among conflict, person-organization fit, and workers' turnover intention. Specifically, it aims to examine whether person-organization fit mediates the relationship between conflict in team and turnover intention, also trust in leader moderates the relationship between person-organization fit and turnover intention. The empirical analysis shows that conflict is positively associated with turnover intention and have a negative impact on objective-value fit. The relationship between conflict and turnover intention is mediated by the person-organization fit. Trust in leader moderates the relationship between person-organization fit and turnover intention. The findings address the issue in terms of the mechanisms between conflict-turnover intention and the importance of trust in leader for an effective management of conflict in work teams.

  • 최근 스마트폰에 탑재된 NFC를 통한 결제 서비스의 시장이 각광을 받고 있다. 사용자는 자신의 신용카드 정보와 같은 지불 수단을 스마트폰에 탑재된 NFC 장치에 기록하여 리더기에 그 정보를 보냄으로써 간편하게 결제를 할 수 있게 되었다. 하지만 무선 신호의 특성상 사용자의 정보가 외부로 노출될 가능성도 배제할 수 없으며, NFC 데이터를 읽는 리더기가 신뢰 가능한 리더기인지 알 수 없는 보안 취약성이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 NFC를 통해 안전하게 데이터 통신을 할 수 있도록 정의된 NFC-SEC 표준에 대해서 살펴보고, NFC-SEC 프로토콜에서 피어 간의 상호 인증의 필요성에 대해서 말한다.
