  • 크랭크 샤프트 디플렉션 측정은 선박엔진의 조립공정에 있어, 크랭크 샤프트를 조립 시 1회전의 상태에서 크랭크 스루 간의 디플렉션 상대값의 변화를 확인하는 것이다. 이를 통하여 크랭크 샤프트가 정상 조립되었는지 확인할 수 있다. 기 개발 완료한 구형 무선 크랭크 샤프트 디플렉션 측정장치(상품명 : Measutal)는 측정장치의 길이로 인해 선박용 엔진 중 저속 엔진에만 적용 가능하였다. 하지만 중속엔진의 경우 공간이 협소하여 크랭크 샤프트 디플렉션 측정이 어려우며, 이는 폭정 오차를 수반하게 된다. 본 논문은 상기 문제를 해결하기 위해 중속에도 적용 가능한 신 모델의 개발에 관한 것이다. 또한 개발된 신 모델은 소비자의 요구를 만족하기 위해 구 모델에 비하여 밧데리 지속시간 향상되었고 무선 통신 거리가 확대되었다.

A Deflection Routing using Location Based Priority in Network-on-Chip (위치 기반의 우선순위를 이용한 네트워크 온 칩에서의 디플렉션 라우팅)

  • The input buffer in Network on Chip (NoC) router plays a key role in on-chip-network performance, which is utilized in flow control and virtual channel. However, increase in area and power due to input buffers as the network size gets larger is becoming severe. To solve this problem, a bufferless deflection routing without input buffer was suggested. Since the bufferless deflection routing shows poor performance at high network load, other approaches which combine the deflection routing with small size side buffers were also proposed. Nonetheless these new methods still show deficiencies caused by frequent path collisions. In this paper, we propose a modified deflection routing technique using a location based priority. In comparison with existing deflection routers, experimental results show improvement by 12% in throughput with only 3% increase in area.

  • 선박용 엔진의 제작에 있어 크랭크 샤프트 조립 시 1 회전의 상태에서 크랭크 스루 간의 디플렉션의 상대값이 정상오차 범위를 넘어서는지 확인한 후 조립상태를 보정하게 된다. 기존의 방법은 다이얼 게이지를 사용하여 측정 담당자가 베드 플레이트 내에 들어가 크랭크 샤프트 회전 시 따라 돌면서 직접 육안 확인을 통해 측정이 이루어졌다. 이 때, 측정의 불편함과 열악한 작업환경 하의 안전 문제가 야기된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 연구에서는 블루투스 통신을 이용하여 디지털 게이지를 사용한 측정장치 기구부의 신호를 무선으로 받아서 작업자는 베드 플레이트 외부에서 측정이 가능하도록 하는 시스템의 개발하였다. 이를 통해 작업의 편리성 및 안정성을 확보했으며, 디지털 측정을 통한 측정의 정확도를 향상시켰다.

Application of Laser Beam Deflection Technique to Analysis of Stresses Generated during Hydrogen Diffusion through Pd Foil Electrode

  • The present work describes the capabilities of laser beam deflection (LBD) technique for the analysis of the stresses developed during hydrogen diffusion through Pd foil electrode. First, we explain briefly the elasto-diffusive (Gorsky effect) and diffusion-elastic phenomena. A model for the diffusion-elastic phenomenon is theoretically derived from the solution of the Fick's equation for given initial and boundary conditions, Vegard's second law and Hooke's law. Second, we introduce how to apply the principle of LBD technique to the study on the stresses generated during hydrogen diffusion. From the comparison of the deflection transients numerically calculated with those experimentally measured, we finally discuss the change in the tensile deflection with time in terms of hydrogen concentration profile transient and hydrogen diffusivity.

  • TSOP(Thin Small Outline Package) is the IC package using lead frame, which is the type of low cost package for white electronics, auto mobile, desktop PC, and so on. Its performance is not excellent compared to BGA or flip-chip CSP, but it has been used mostly because of low price of TSOP package. However, it has been issued in TSOP package that thermal deflection of lead frame occurs frequently during molding process and Au wire between semiconductor die and pad is debonded. It has been required to solve this problem through substituting materials with low CTE and improving structure of lead frame. We focused on developing the lead frame structure having thermal stability, which was carried out by numerical analysis in this study. Thermal deflection of lead frame in TSOP package was simulated with positions of anti-deflection adhesives, which was ranging 198 um~366 um from semiconductor die. It was definitely understood that thermal deflection of TSOP package with anti-deflection adhesives was improved as 30.738 um in the case of inside(198 um), which was compared to that of the conventional TSOP package. This result is caused by that the anti-deflection adhesives is contributed to restrict thermal expansion of lead frame. Therefore, it is expected that the anti-deflection adhesives can be applied to lead frame packages and enhance their thermal deflection without any change of substitutive materials with low CTE.

Investigation of their sensitivity to deflections is one of the most important aspects of their design and optimization procedures. The deflection test is performed in the actual gear mounting using completely processed gear. This test should cover the fun operating range of gear loads from no load to peak load. Under peak load the contact pattern should extend to the tooth boundaries without showing a concentration of the contact pattern at any point on the tooth surface. Transmission error is tested on an axle assembly triaxial real car load condition.

  • 세계 대형선박의 저속엔진(주엔진) 제어시스템이 유류비 절감과 성능 향상을 위하여 기존의 수동엔진을 대신하여 전자엔진으로 대체됨으로 따라 효율적인 엔진제어를 위하여 다양한 센서기술이 발전하고 있다, 그중에서도 선박엔진에 있어서 효율을 떨어지게 하는 것은 크랭크샤프트 디플렉션(deflection)에 의해 효율이 떨어지게 되는 원인이 되기도 한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 디플렉션 현상에 의하여 선박엔진에 진동이 발생하거나 선박엔진의 비동기적 운동에 의하여 선박엔진 내부의 캠(CAM) 운동의 불안정하게 되는 것을 방지하기 위하여 크랭크샤프트의 상태와 움직임을 계측할 수 있는 정밀한 선박엔진용 크랭크샤프트 각도 측정 용 정밀 엔코더(Encoder)를 제시하고자 한다.
