  • The purpose of this study was to identify the convergent influence of social awareness and health status on social support in Korean echo generation by using Korea adult psycho-social anxiety survey data. Korea adult psycho-social anxiety survey data were collected from August to September 2015 and included 1,653, who responded to the question regarding social support. The data were analyzed by t-test, chi-square and hierarchial multiple regression using SPSS WIN 23.0 program. The mean score of social support was 19.60. The influencing factors on social support were neighborhood relations, perceived class, euphoria, equality in society, stability in society, self Esteem, communication, and stress, respectively. Therefore, it is necessary to establish strategies to strengthen social support of echo generation. A more careful examination may be warranted.

  • The purpose of this study is to the relation between the focusing manner and clinical competence and to determine the effect of the focusing manner on clinical competence. In December 2018, data were collected from 189 university students in the nursing department and analyzed using a multiple regression. As a result, major satisfaction and focusing manner of nursing university students were identified as major factors influencing clinical competence. In particular, 'expressing', a sub-factor of the focusing manner, had a significant effect on the sub-factors of clinical competence ability, 'nursing process, nursing skill, teaching and cooperation, interpersonal relationships and communication, and professional development', and explanatory power was 15.7%~19.9%. Therefore, during the undergraduate course, it is suggested that university students in the nursing department actively develop teaching-learning methods along with the development of a program to improve 'the ability to express appropriately for the situation'.

The Effect of Multi-cultural TV Program on the Viewers' Perception of Migrant Women : Post Test Control Group Design Centered on University Students' Viewing of the 'Love in Asia' Program (다문화 TV 프로그램이 결혼이주여성에 대한 인식에 미치는 영향 : 대학생들의 '러브인 아시아' 프로그램 시청을 중심으로 한 통제집단 사후설계실험)

  • This research sought to study viewers' perception of migrant women who wed Korean men following these women's level of specialty as shown on multi-cultural TV program by focusing on university students. Post test control group design method was utilized to conduct analysis, which demonstrates that there was a significant difference between the viewers on the professional migrant women and on the non-professional migrant women when it comes to the categories such as, 'Migrant women have specialized skills', 'migrant women have outstanding communication skills' and 'migrant women are independent minded.' Because of the existence (or non-existence) of professional careers as shown on TV program can affect viewers' perception of migrant women, it is necessary to develop measures such as development of expert group's advising system and to guarantee migrant women's diversity.

  • The introduction of smart technology provides accuracy, safety, and efficiency to both physicians and patients. Although interest in a clear aligner is increasing among users worldwide, the current clear aligner requires a visit to the hospital every one or two weeks for replacement, which is a very cumbersome process. There is also confusion among dentists and patients because about 40 to 80 devices are made, and calibration is done based on the order and duration of the clear aligner. Therefore, this study designed and developed a clear aligner management system so that communication between the patient and dentist can be smoothly performed by inserting the QR code into the transparent correction device. As a result, the size of the QR code was recognized as $6{\ast}6mm^2$ which can be used in the oral and the recognition distance was 100% within 12 cm. Since the dentist can remotely manage the patient with the proposed system and improve the correction effect, it is possible to manage patients abroad, as well as domestically.

  • Problem-based learning (PBL) appears to be a superior and effective strategy to train competent and skilled practitioners and to promote long-term retention of knowledge and skills acquired during the learning experience. This study concerns the implementation of PBL in the online environment and face-to-face PBL. An online environment allows participants to communicate with one another, view presentations or videos, interact with other participants, and engage with resources in work groups. Nowadays, education is accessible everywhere with the use of digital devices. Educational institutions subscribe to GSuite for Education, and Google introduced its Google Classroom as an e-learning platform. This study aims to analyze Google Classroom and to design PBL for Mongolian students taking Korean courses. The main objective of this paper is to identify the usability and evaluation of Google Classroom. The result of this study will be a proposed e-learning platform for Dornod University, Mongolia, which is initially needed in the Natural Science and Business Department.

  • In the midst of going through a non-face-to-face society, most of human activities narrowed down to the platform, restrictions on external activities are bringing the internal scalability of digital technology. Metaverse is virtually shifting reality and increasing the possibility of utilization in various areas. However, researches linked to the educational effects of metaverse, especially students with disabilities, are still an unknown area that lacks exploration. This paper focuses on the fact that metaverse-education is widening educational fields that meets the various needs of disabled students to realize social good and inclusive education, and communication effects such as resolving barriers to interaction are prominent. As a research method, examining literature research papers linked to AR/VR, metaverse with communication skills, interviews, articles, and columns by experts, and policy suggestions and implications for the special education was conducted. Although the limitations of research are confirmed, significant results are found on inclusive education, which provides educational maximizing effects and realizing human rights through direct immersive experience reflecting the Cone of Experience Theory. Hopefully follow-up studies on meta-edu for disabled students will be carried out in the future, and various interdisciplinary discussions are needed to carefully observe inclusive policies and benefits so that the socially vulnerable are not excluded from technologies in ICT society.

  • This study aims to develop a core competency model for adult college students. For this purpose, the core competencies of adult college students were derived by analyzing domestic and foreign literature studies. And the Delphi survey was conducted for the validity of core competencies. The SPSS 18.0 program was used for analysis. As results of the analysis, there are 11 core competencies of adult college students derived: communication, problem-solving and meta, interpersonal, personal management and development, digital information literacy, major knowledge, citizenship, convergence, character, professional job, and global. The core competency model of adult college students was developed by assigning numbers from 01 to 11 based on the results of the Delphi survey. Core competencies of adult college students were organically linked, so the cultivation of one core competency affects other core competencies.

  • As the importance of digital competency education is highlighted, this study is a case study on block coding classes for elementary school students during vacation for the purpose of bridging the information education gap among students. The purpose of this study is to design and operate a play-centered block coding class program and find out if it is effective in improving students' interest. As a result of completing the teaching plan through the second consultation and revision, running the class, and analyzing the change in learning interest of the students through the t-test, the play-oriented block coding class designed in this study was effective in improving students' interest. In addition, it was possible to discover interesting elements such as student-led learning process and immersion through realistic play activities, friendship, collaboration, and communication through group activities. This study is significant in suggesting a plan to increase learning interest for students who are new to coding.

  • One important issue to generalize the ubiquitous paradigm is the development of user-centralized and intelligent ubiquitous computing systems. Sharing knowledge and correct communication between users and devices are needed to be aware of continuous changed context information and infer services for which users are suited. The goal of this paper is to describe and manage effectively the meaning of services or data which each device offers for interaction between users and devices based on semantic relationships and reasoning. In this paper, we represent semantic data using OWL and design a ubiquitous based intelligent system. We propose some index structures and strategies to process queries classified by each subsystem and adopt labeling schemes to identify classes and resources in the semantic data. We can find devices which satisfies various user's requests exactly and quickly using the proposed strategies.
