A Needs Assessment of People with Hearing Impairment for Hearing Augmentation Technology Development: Focusing on Risk Context Awareness Communication (청각증강 기술 개발을 위한 청각장애인의 욕구조사: 위험상황 인식 및 의사소통 분야를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the application point of hearing augmentation technology development through examining the risk context experience of people with hearing impairment and the use of assistive device used as an alternative technology. Data of 355 people with hearing impairment with official disability grading was analyzed. The results of this study are first, research participants had no experience of recognizing any sound or vibration in situations highest in the order of means of transportation, material, and nature. Especially the ratio of being unable to recognize the sound and vibration of means of transportation was high, which implies the high possibility of people with hearing impairment experiencing risk. Secondly, the risk context that people with hearing impairment will most likely to experience are highest in the order of traffic accident, pedestrian accident, and daily life at home. Thirdly, the recognition of 2G phone/smart phone, vibrating digital alarm clock, light bar, vibrating wrist watch as assistive device for risk context awareness and notification was high and the satisfaction level of 2G phone/smart phone was the highest. Fourthly, the research participants had high recognition of assistive device for communication in the order of hearing aid, smart phone, videophone, cochlear implant and 2G phone and it was found that the satisfaction level and communication improvement level was the highest using the smart phone. Lastly, for the development of hearing augmentation technology the research participants recognized the importance of portable/wear convenience, price, and motion accuracy and for notification delivery means they preferred the method of using sight(text and light). Based on the results of this study policy and practical plans for hearing augmentation technology development for people with hearing impairment in risk context are proposed.

The important thing when you are dealing with the myth as the material that how to convert prototype narratives. Today, digital culture is becoming one of the essential elements of mankind, that is a new sociocultural phenomenon and distinguishing differentiation from the past analogue era. In this regard, the combination of mythology and digital culture is effective strategies for transforming storytelling that can resonate with people who are not familiar with myths. puts the view both of this world and underworld, mythical characters, and various elements of the Grim Reaper into the story. And combines them with digital elements. sets the world that the transcendental soul exists as physically transferred data form. and reinterprets the traditional mythology world into the digitally operated world. Soul-Phone from this anime reflects the digital culture such as storage and transmission, and helps enjoying audiences accept the unfamiliar world of myth. And also It symbolically shows dystopian viewpoints through side effects can caused by digital technology development, such as the instrumentalization of human being, the risk of communication through digital media, and ego-loss caused by duplication, etc. In conclusion, forms a consensus with the audience through the transformation strategy of storytelling that converts the world of myth into the digital world. And it reflects the dystopian view and shows a differentiated world view from the narrative of myth.

  • As the post-COVID-19 consumer life environment is rapidly becoming non-face-to-face, changing non-face-to-face financial life services are having a significant impact on consumers' daily lives. People who do not have access to digital devices and services that have become essential goods are at risk of being left behind in the "digital blind spot," where they are marginalized not only in their daily lives but also in society and the economy as a whole (Kim Min-Jeung A, Kim Min-Jung B, Park Joo-Yung, 2022). In this study, we examined the effects of perceived control factors, Cognitive control, behavioral control, and decisional control, on intention to use digital finance. For this study, we surveyed 133 customers who are aware of and intend to use digital finance. The results show that cognitive control, behavioral control, and decisional control have significant effects on intention to use digital finance. In this relationship, the moderating effect of privacy concerns differs from the effect of decision control on intention to use digital finance. These findings suggest that digital financial services firms should consider whether to reduce or increase customer control. Based on these findings, we discuss marketing strategies and implications for digital financial services companies.

  • It is necessary to forecast the various dismantling activities prior to dismantling nuclear facilities by using various software instead of a physical mock-up system because the dismantling in a contaminated with radioactivity cause the results of an unexpected situation. The component that needs to develop a dismantling mock-up system was examined. There are many component systems such as a decommissioning database system,3D dosimetric mapping that represents a distribution of a radionuclide contamination, a component of modeling for nuclear facility and devices include the decontamination and decommissioning. The research of software architecture about these components was carried out because these component systems that have been independently doesn't describe not only to visual an activities of Decontamination and Decommissioning(D&D) but also to evaluate it. The result was established an architecture that consist of an visualization module which could be visualized an D&D activities and a simulation module which can be evaluated a dismantling schedule and decommissioning cost.

  • 최근 경세성장과 함께 생활수준의 향상으로 인하여 에너지 수요는 매년 증가하고 있으며 그 중에서 하나인 전력수요도 역시 급격히 늘어나고 있는 추세이다. 이와 더불어 투자자원 및 입지확보의 어려움, 환경제약의 문제로 전력 공급의 어려움은 날로 증가되고 있다. 따라서 수요증가를 전력공급 능력의 증진뿐만 아니라 수요관리 측면에서도 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 전력선 통신은 전력선을 매체로 하기 때문에 신규선로의 포설 없이 가전기기 및 정보화 서비스 모뎀들의 네트워크화에 용이할 뿐만 아니라 커버리지 확장에도 뛰어나서 디지털 가전, 원격검침, 전력설비 감시제어, 국가 재난 감시 시스템 등의 기본 통신 방식으로 가장 유력한 기술로써 디지털 가전을 포함한 유비쿼터스 전기설비 네트워크 구성에서 필수적 기술로 채택되고 있기 때문에 지능형 홈 네트워크, 전력IT 부가서비스, 설비감시 네트워크, 유비쿼터스 네트워크 관련 기술에 대한 파급 효과가 매우 크며, 디지털 가전의 기본 통신 방식으로 가장 유력한 기술로써 디지털 가전 구성에서 필수적 기술로 채택되고 있기 때문에 지능형 홈 네트워크 관련 기술에 대한 파급 효과가 매우 크다. 본 연구에서는 전력선통신모뎀을 이용하여 가전기기의 전력 소비를 감지할 수 있는 센서를 내장한 전력선 통신기반의 전력 감시 모듈을 개발하여 실시간 원격 모니터링을 통해 소비전력 패턴을 작성한다. 그리고 전력감시 모듈에 연결된 가전기기의 소비전력 패턴 분석을 통해 전력소비 이상 유무를 감지할 수 있는 알고리즘을 개발, 탑재하여 이상유무를 판단하고 전력소비가 급증할 시 자동으로 전력을 차단하여 화재나 누전의 위험을 방지한다. 이에 본 연구는 전력선통신을 이용하여 전력소비감시 및 이상전력차단에 관한 연구에 관한 것이다.

Effects of Using Convergence Digital Contents for High-Intensity Interval Exercise on Growth Hormone and Fatigue Elements in Middle Aged Women (융복합 디지털 콘텐츠를 활용한 고강도 인터벌 운동이 중년여성의 성장호르몬과 피로물질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was tested growth hormone and fatigue materials after eight-week high-intensity interval exercise to middle aged women (40's~50's women) who have been obesity without other disease. Two group of 20 candidates were randomly divided 10 persons as exercise group and control group. Exercise was conducted 8 weeks 4 days 35 minutes, before the study each group was checked vital sign for fatigue materials. It showed the following results. First, it has been increased growth hormone level after exercise program compared each group, significantly. Secondly, it has been decreased fatigue materials due to the high-strength interval workout for 8 weeks compared control as significantly. As a result, eight-week high-intensity interval exercise could be increased growth hormone levels by reducing fatigue and it might be preventing fatigue materials levels. We would suggest that high-strength interval workout for 8 weeks could have a positive effect for preventing and reducing fatigue and related disease, obesity.

  • This study is about finding factors affecting user experience in China's mobile payment. The recen development of 5G networks and the spread of phones provide the basis for the development of mobile payment, and the development of mobile payment is showing a rapid upward trend. Because of the simplicity and mobility, it is appealing to people, especially young people. Therefore, this study conducted a survey on mobile payment users in 20s and 30s and confirmed the factors affecting the user experience through regression analysis. Unlike previous studies on mobile payment technology, this study focused on user experience and identified factors affecting user experience, so it is expected to be helpful in the development of mobile payment in China.

A Study on the Effectiveness of Screening for Selective Breast Cancer Using Digital Mammography Centered on General Hospital (디지털 유방촬영술을 이용한 선별적 유방암 검진의 효용성에 대한 연구(2차 병원을 중심으로))

  • This study is a retrospective analysis of the results of tests at three general hospitals in Busan that perform mammography using digital mammography devices. There were 5,320 people in the study, and the results of their breast cancer screening were analyzed to verify the efficacy of breast cancer screening for digital mammography. The average age of patients who performed breast cancer screening was 57.7 years (range 30 to 87 years), and the cancer detection rate was 26, with 4.6 cases per 1,000 people. According to the cancer detection rate by risk factor in patients who conducted breast cancer screening, breast cancer was found in patients without underlying diseases more than in patients with underlying diseases. Additional ultrasound examinations show that the gastronomic rate identified is 3.6%, which is relatively very low compared to that of the Film-Screen system.

  • In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digital transformation to increase the effectiveness of industry is becoming more important to achieving the goal of industrial innovation. The digital new deal and smart defense are required for digital transformation and utilize artificial intelligence, big data analysis technology, and the Internet of Things. These changes can innovate the industrial fields of national defense, society, and health with new intelligent services by continuously expanding cyberspace. As a result, work productivity, efficiency, convenience, and industrial safety will be strengthened. However, the threat of cyber-attack will also continue to increase due to expansion of the new domain of digital transformation. This paper presents the risk scenarios of cyber-attack threats in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Further, we propose a preemptive intrusion response model to bolster the complex security environment of the future, which is one of the fundamental alternatives to solving problems relating to cyber-attack. The proposed model can be used as prior research on cyber security strategy and technology development for preemptive response to cyber threats in the future society.

  • 우리나라는 세계 최고 수준의 IT 인프라를 기반으로 네트워크 및 서비스 융합, RFID 등 u-IT 서비스 확산 등을 통해 유비쿼터스 사회로 빠르게 진입하고 있다. 향후 디지털 융합이 가속화됨에 따라 시간과 공간의 제약 없이 원하는 정보의 획득 활용이 증가하고, u-Health, u-learning 등 IT가 타산업과 융합되면서 높은 부가가치를 창출할 것으로 전망 된다. 그러나 정보화의 급속한 진전에 따른 사회 전반의 편의성과 효율성이 향상하였으나, 해킹 바이러스, 개인정보 유출사고, 스팸 등 역기능으로 인한 피해도 확산되고 있다. 최근에는 네트워크 방어체계를 무력화시키는 지능화된 해킹, 대량의 고객정보 유출, 사회공학 기법을 활용한 피싱 등 이용자의 자산과 프라이버시를 침해하는 사이버범죄 증가 등으로 이용자자산과 권리 보호관점에서의 정보보호의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 향후 시간과 장소에 상관없이 지식정보를 활용하여 편리하고 쾌적한 생활을 누리게 하는 지식정보사회는 예측 불가능한 위험이 곳곳에 산재한 정보위험사회로의 진입을 의미 할 수도 있다. 그러므로 미래사회에서 예상되는 위협을 예측하여 효과적으로 사전에 예방할 수 있는 체계를 마련하는 것은 안전하고 신뢰할 수 있는 지식정보사회를 향유하기 위한 전제조건으로 작용한다. 이에 본고에서는 미래 지식정보사회에 대비한 정보보호 전략으로 안전한 u-사회 청사진 설계 및 환경조성 선도와 국제화, 사이버위협 예방 및 대응체계의 입체적 조화와 융합, 정보보호 기술 제품 산업간 선순환 촉진과 성장 등 3대 전략을 설정하고 실행방안을 제시한다.
