The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Innovative Behavior in Manufacture of Automobile industry (자동차산업에서의 조직시민행동과 혁신행동에 대한 감성지능의 영향과 진정성리더십의 조절효과)

  • Today, Emotional Intelligence of the leader has become important in order to achieve the achievement of the organization. Especially, the automobile industry is somewhat conservative and the organizational culture of the subcontractor is still much more important than the service industry which has a flexible. In this context, I examine the Emotional Intelligence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Innovative Behavior in manufacture of automobile industry focusing on moderating effect of Authentic Leadership. This Study enhances the understanding of Emotional Intelligence and extends the research. Future research will needed to pioneer research methods such as various aspects of measurement and time series of various variables.

A Study on the Authentic Leadership Influencing on Innovative Behavior: Focusing on Mediating Effect of Employee's Silence (진성리더십이 혁신행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 구성원 침묵의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • It is believed that there will be changes in the behavior of members according to the characteristics of the organization's leader. The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that induce changes in the behavior of employees of the organization through empirical research. In order to accomplish the research aims, we developed and verify the research model using authentic leadership as an independent variable and the innovative behavior as a criterion variable. In addition, by using the silent phenomenon of the members as a mediating variable, we also tried to find out how it affects the behavior of the employees. Empirical results of the study showed that authentic leadership as an independent variable had a direct influence on the innovation behavior of employees, and the mediating effect of silence also had a partial mediating effect. These findings suggest that leadership and Silence factors which are internal motivational factors leading to behavior of employees are affected innovative behavior. There are some expectations as follow. Based on this study, it would be an important issue that the study on the necessity of silence management of employees through research on the causes of silence felt by members of the organization and the influence.

Analysis of User's Continuous Utilization of Social Apps Using the Model of Gamification (게이미피케이션 모델을 이용한 사용자의 소셜 앱 지속 활용도 분석)

  • The value and importance of Gamification has intensified as the way Gamification is applied to social networking applications has added to users' interest and involvement to the product. Gamification entails the adoption of gaming techniques and modes of thinking in non-gaming domains to elicit user engagement. To this end, the paper draws on Gamification's analytical model, Octalysis, with the aim of identifying user loyalty of the three major Chinese social networking applications and extracting their characteristics. In this regard, the first task in the advancement of the study is to establish an understanding of the components and characteristics of Gamification within the context of available examples. Next, a questionnaire survey covering China's three dominant social applications, WeChat, QQ, and Xiaohongshu, is administered and their user loyalty is examined through Octalysis's eight analytical frameworks. By virtue of analysis, the results demonstrate that the three elements of game mechanics, Point, Badge, and Leadboard, which are external to the game, fail to sustain the user loyalty, but are merely a means to an end. Only by including a combination of social application features, contents and user needs can Gamification considerations be maximized to ensure that users are subjectively engaged with the product.

The Impact of Changes in Social Information Processing Mechanism on Social Consensus Making in the Information Society (정보화사회에 있어서 사회적 정보처리 메커니즘의 변화가 사회적 컨센서스 형성에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구)

  • The advancement of information technologies including the Internet has affected the way of social information processing as well as brought about the paradigm shift to the information society. Accordingly, it is very important to study the process of social information processing over the digital media through which social information is generated, distributed, and led to social consensus. In this study, we analyze the mechanism of social information processing, identify a process model of social consensus and institutionalization of the results, and finally propose a set of information processing characteristics on the internet media. We deploy the ethnographic approach to analyze the meaning of group behavior in the context of society to analyze two major events which happened in Korean society. The formation process of social consensus is found to consist of 5 steps: suggestion of social issues, selective reflection on public opinion, acceptance of the issues and diffusion, social consensus, and institutionalization and feedback. The key characteristics of information processing in the Internet is grouped into proactive response to an event, the changes in the role of opinion leader, the flexibility of proposal and analysis, greater scalability, relevance to consensus making, institutionalization and interaction. This study contributes to the literature by proposing a process model of social information processing which can be used as the basis for analyzing the social consensus making process from the social network perspective. In addition, this study suggests a new perspective where the utility of the Internet media can be understood from the social information processing so that other disciplines including politics, communications, and management can improve the decision making performance in utilizing the Internet media.

Impact of Negative Feedback-seeking Behavior on Innovative Behavior: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Learning Goal Orientation Moderated by Coaching Leadership (부정피드백추구행동이 혁신행동에 미치는 영향: 코칭리더십에 의해 조절된 학습목표지향성의 매개효과 중심으로)

  • This study was conducted to derive theoretical and practical implications in situations where innovation of the business is desperate in the face of the emergence of agile organizations and digital transformation. To do so, we tried to verify the correlation between negative feedback-seeking behavior and innovative behavior and whether the learning goal orientation of these two variables has a moderated mediating effect by coaching leadership. It analyzed the collected questionnaire from 381 members working in domestic companies; SPSS 25.0, AMOS 25.0, and Process Macro 3.0 were used. The analysis result showed that the negative feedback seeking behavior had a positive effect on the learning goal orientation, and the leader's coaching leadership found to have a moderating effect between the negative feedback seeking behavior and the learning goal orientation. Learning goal orientation has been found to have a moderated mediating effect between negative feedback seeking behavior and innovative behavior. This study is significant in the sense that it reveals the process of how members seeking negative feedback in the organization could be led to innovative behavior and shows the necessity of organizational support for coaching leadership for the vitalization of innovative behavior.

The Realization of RFID Tag Data Communication System Using CC1020 (CC1020을 이용한 RFID Tag 데이터 통신 시스템 구현)

  • RFID system in manufacturing industry is used to collect, categorize, and process the data of products. To install RFID system for a large factory, a large amount of wired data communication network is necessary for RS232 communication. If the installed location of RFID system in the factory is changed or extended, a reinstallment is required for the already installed wired data network. A large amount of time/financial reinvestment is necessary for such reinstallation. By using wireless data communication network, however, the initial installation and reinstallation are very simple. In this paper, we implemented a wireless communication system and RFID system. We used the CC1020 chip for wireless communication system and EM4095 chip for RFID system. CC1020 chip enables highly-reliable data communication, and by setting a simple status register, it can switch between transmitting/receiving status and it can choose the desired frequency of either 400 MHz or 900 MHz. Also, Communication range is 50 m, if external antenna is used. EM4095 is a chip for RFID reader system with the carrier frequency of 125 KHz. This chip can implement the reader system by connecting a small number of components. And EM4100 was used for RFID system. EM4100 is read-only type. Atmega128 is used to control a wireless communication system and RFID system. We confirm that the system can communicate without error up to 50 m from sender. In the paper, the circuit diagram and operation program for CC1020 and RFID system are presented. The system used in the experiment is shown in pictures, and the data movement pattern of CC1020 is shown in the diagram, and the performance of each transmission method is presented.
