This study examines teacher-teacher conflicts in childcare centers, specifically the causes of conflicts and the process of resolution through in-depth interviews in order to provide suggestions for positive conflict resolution. The subjects of the interviews were five working childcare center teachers, and each subject was interviewed three to four times between September 7th and October 4th in 2011. The result of the interview indicates that childcare center teachers perceive the following to be causes of the conflict: hierarchical relationship among teachers; lack of social skills; differences in personal values and educational philosophy; and uncooperative behaviors of teachers. Moreover, each teacher's eagerness to improve relationships and capacity to make appropriate judgment had positive and negative effects on the relationship with colleagues. In sum, childcare center teachers experienced various conflicts between fellow teachers and recognized the importance of sustaining positive relationships through conflicts as well as through the process of conflict resolution.

Samples include 1,031 teachers in elementary school from Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) and data were analyzed using Latent Class Analysis(LCA) to identify different patterns of teacher-efficacy and perception of principals' leadership and peer collaboration. Multivariate analysis of variance were employed to identify the influence of predictors for classification of teachers' job stress and job satisfaction among latent classes. The study found three latent classes at risk class, middle-level adaptive class, and adaptive class and results showed that each distinctive class can be identified by some of predictors. Teachers at adaptive class showed higher teacher-efficacy and positive perception of principals' leadership and peer collaboration than teachers at risk and middle-level adaptive class. Also, teachers at adaptive class showed lower job stress and higher job satisfaction than teachers at two other classes. We have studied possibilities of Peer Instruction(PI) to train in-service science teachers in elementary and middle schools through both degree of conceptual changes and investigating responses to questionaries. 169 teachers were attended and the subject for training was about light propagation to teach scientific conception about a pin hole camera. 6 conceptests were developed. Degree of conceptual changes was analyzed from results obtained from 24 elementary and 32 middle school teachers among them. On the other hand, answers to questionaries were obtained from 135. Relatively high gain near to about 0.7 in conceptual changes was obtained even though their initial levels were quite low. Interesting point is that elementary teachers have higher initial level and larger gain than middle school teachers. Teachers have very much enjoyed and showed strong support to PI for helping conceptual change, and willing to use PI to their own class. Also they conceived dealing concept in teacher training is very important and evaluated PI very positively for teacher training.

Purposes of this study were to explore the process of experience that science teachers go through when participating in peer coaching meetings to improve teaching ability and to find out factors that affect each process of experience. The data were collected through recording of peer coaching meetings, videotapes of science class, and interviews. All the data were analyzed after transcription. The results of the study showed that even though Teacher K broke the ice and formed consensus among the peers by developing Content Representation (CoRe) at the beginning of the meetings, he became self-defensive rather than receptive of peers' opinions on the recorded class at the discussion session. But as the peer coaching went on, he realized that peer coaching was not about evaluation but rather on improving his teaching ability. In turn, he was able to look at his teaching in a more objective point of view and accepted suggestions from peer coaching discussion. The self-reflection of Teacher K acted as the key factor in the efforts to improve his teaching ability. He sought the concrete alternatives through the class analysis with fellow teachers and showed major changes in his teaching practice from the language habits, pronunciation, and speed of his speech to the interaction with students and class design. However, there was little change in knowledge of curriculum and assessment due to his strong orientation to improve students' grades as an academic high school teacher. Likewise, it was found that while peer coaching exert a strong influence on instructional methods and strategies of Teacher K, his strong orientation to improve students' grades hinders a balanced development of subcomponents of PCK.

This study is aimed for a scale of assessing the work performance, educational operations, and so on of preschool teachers by the peers. It has been previously discussed the studies of scale assesment of preschool teachers, however, the scale assesment had been a self-assesment or a transitory assesment by the senior teachers and principals only. This study is developed to assess the preschool teachers through the peer- teachers. Peer-assesment has strong points that to assess the teachers constantly can be more accurate, the assessment result can be used as the basic material for peer scholarship, and it can give the preschool teachers an opportunity to be recognised on tasks. There are 51 questions are developed to assess the peers. 9 sections total; 1) 6 questions on body human nature 2) 6 questions on view on career 3) 3 questions on self-development 4) 4 questions on curriculum planing 5) 12 questions on administering and managing 6) 6 questions on understanding children 7) 4 questions on managing a class 8) 7 questions on work performance 9) 3 questions on teaching practice. Each section is surveyed by 150 preschool teachers, and the all questions are analysed statistically appropriate of a scale(validity of contents, validity of surveyors, inter-item consistency) and appropriate of each section. It is known this peer assesment of preschool teachers is an appropriate scale.
