Power management is a very important issue in portable electronic applications. Portable electronic devices require very efficient power management like LDO to increase the battery life. As the voltage variation of battery power is large in the application of cell phone, camera, laptop, automotive, industry application and so on, battery power is not directly used and LDO is used to supply the power of internal circuit. Besides, LDO can supply DC voltage that is lower than bauer voltage and constant DC voltage that is not related to largely fluctuated battery power. In the study, the power-save mode current and IR-drop characteristics are analyzed from a LDO with on-chip fabricated in 0.18-um CMOS technology.

This study aimed at providing a comprehensive account of the sources and causes of errors in business emails that Korean college students wrote using a translation machine. Data were collected from 21 emails written by the students who took a business English course. Findings indicated that the students tended to make frequent errors in verb use and verb tense as well as a definite article, countable/noncountable nouns, time adverbs and prepositions. Therefore, the study suggested that the students' common errors imply that they experience some difficulties learning these linguistic features. Given that learners' errors can give us valuable insights into teaching and learning how to write in English, pedagogical suggestions are put forward based on the study results.

This research is to analyze the status of menu guides provided to inpatients in Korean hospitals, analyze the problem of delivering information, and propose improvement plans through information visualization as a part of improving service for inpatients. The nutrition department in hospitals were directly visited, data were collected, and the types and contents of menu guides were analyzed. Then, problems were found by focusing on whether there is an effective delivery of information, in terms of information visualization aspects. The menu provided to inpatients in Korean hospitals are divided into general, optional, and therapeutic menu depending on patients' conditions, and the menu guide is largely divided into a general guide and optional guide. The information covers menu, origin of ingredients, guide, withdrawal time, etc. However, there is no categorization according to the contents or importance of information, thus creating inefficient problems for patients to acquire information. The problem of menu guides is that they do not deliver information properly due to disorganized information. In order to improve this, information should be categorized and visualized according to its contents and importance for enhancing readability, which will then be able to provide menu guides that can deliver information more efficiently to patients.

This study examines the types and characteristics of the policy instruments of Korea's higher education policies since the Lee Myung-bak administration. To this end, McDonnell and Elmore (1987)'s types of policy instruments were adopted and the higher education policy tasks announced by the Ministry of Education were classified by sector and type. As a result of the analysis, Korea's higher education policy showed a tendency to gradually shift from 'mandates' to 'inducements' and 'capacity building'. Despite this trend, however, in policy tasks such as university evaluation, the Lee Myung-bak, Park Geun-hye, and Moon Jae-in administrations all maintained policy instruments that combine 'mandates' and 'inducements'. Third, the 'system change' based on a market-oriented mechanism was used only in the Lee Myung-bak administration, and was not adopted in the higher education policies of the Park Geun-hye and Moon Jae-in administrations. In the field of global and industry-university cooperation at universities, it is encouraging that the Lee Myung-bak administration to the Moon Jae-in administration have steadily introduced policy instrument of 'capacity building', but in the fields of specialization and competitiveness enhancement, policies centered on 'mandates' and 'inducements' was using the policy instrument.

Recently, the importance of team based learning has emerged as the method for conducting the constructivist learning theory. College students, however, have the low preference toward team projects. Thus, this research suggested that the information literacy education should be designed to overcome the problems in team project activities after analyzing the college students' information problem solving process. The in-depth interviews were conducted twice with 10 subjects. As a result, the main problems during team project activities were task definition, judgement on relevant information, evaluation of result and process, absence of accountability and synthesis. The recommendations for information literacy course are as follows: introduction to different types of information sources, support for communication problems between team members, education of credibility judgment on information and criteria for evaluating the results.

본 연구는 공과대학 여대생의 취업 준비 현황을 조사하고 이를 지원할 수 있는 개선안을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 4년제 대학교의 공과대학 여대생 167명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째 목표를 설정한 여대생은 절반 이하 수준으로 나타났다. 두 번째로 취업을 위해 가장 필요한 능력이자 부족한 능력으로 전공활용능력을 꼽았다. 연구결과에 따라 취업준비지원의 개선안을 제안하였다.

대학에서 학습효과를 높이기 위해 신입생들을 대상으로 기초학습능력검사를 실시하고 있다. 대학별 수시 비율이 높아짐에 따라 특성화고등학교 학생들이 입학의 기회 폭이 증가하였다. 이과와 문과의 계열성을 떠나 수학, 영어 등의 기본 교육과정이 다르기 때문에 대학에 진학해서 그동안 배우지 않은 전공 교과목에 많은 어려움을 느끼고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 보건계열 치위생과에 입학한 학생들의 가장 기본 전공과목인 치위생학개론 수업 전 구강에 관련된 지식을 다 각도에 따라 분석하여 이를 기초한 교수 학습 방법 및 학습자의 능동적인 수업 참여와 함께 동기 유발이 될 수 있도록 함에 있다.

본 연구에서는 공과대학 여대생들을 대상으로 진로를 지도하는 학과 교수들을 지원하기 위하여 진로지도 가이드라인을 개발하였다. 현황을 파악하고 가이드라인을 도출하기 위하여 7명의 공과대학 교수로 구성된 전문가그룹을 대상으로 초점집단인터뷰(FGI: Focus Group Interview)를 실시하였다. 분석한 결과, 공과대학 여대생들에게는 효능감 향상, 전공역량 강화, 실무역량 증진, 기초역량 함양, 구체적인 취업정보 안내가 요구되는 것으로 나타났으며, 분석결과는 가이드라인의 5대 설계요소로 활용되었다. 이를 바탕으로 학년별 지도 항목과 5대 요소를 체크하고 피드백하며, 실제 진로지도에서 쉽게 활용할 수 있도록 활용양식을 제안하였다. 2회의 전문가회의를 거쳐 가이드라인과 활용양식의 타당도를 검증하고 수정 보완하였다. 마지막으로 가이드라인이 잘 활용될 수 있는 방안을 제언하였다.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify the needs of art education suppliers and consumers and develop service models for an art education platform. In order to overcome the limitations of existing services limited to instructor-student customizing functions, our services take into account comprehensive relationships among various stakeholders and activities that constitute the art ecosystem Design/methodology/approach We reviewed the relevant reference and conducted interviews and surveys with stakeholders of art education market, so that identified the demand and functional priorities. Findings We identified the demand and functional priorities for customizing to as to develop major service models(i.e. service models for lessons, cubes, and businesses) for the art education platform.

온톨로지는 시멘틱 웹 등의 정보과학 분야에서 널리 사용되어 왔으며, 최근 들어 의료 분야에서 복잡한 의료 데이터간의 관계를 효과적으로 지식화하기 위해 온톨로지의 중요성이 크게 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 온톨로지 데이터를 효과적으로 가시화하는 방안에 대해 연구하고, 이를 의료 온톨로지 데이터 적용한 가시화 툴인 메디톨로지(meditology)를 소개한다.
