주5일제 시행과 여가 활동으로서 여행에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라서 연안여객의 활용도는 높아질 것으로 예상된다. 하지만, 국내 연안여객 이용의 실태는 항로 부족, 항구의 노후화 등 개선해야할 과제가 많이 있다. 이러한 상황에서 연안여객의 대중교통화의 필요성이 제기되었다. 본 논문은 현재 연안여객의 항로 네트워크를 분석하여 대중교통화로 나아갈 수 있는 현재의 실태를 확인했다. 사용된 네트워크 분석지수는 지역중심성(degree centrality), 연결중심성(betweenness centrality)이다. 두 가지 지수에 따라 대중교통화에 기여하고 있는 항구의 순위를 확인했다. 분석결과가 연안여객의 대중교통화에 조금이나마 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.

The infrastructure of public transportation of Seoul which has been developed in parallel with the progress of modernization receives successful performance evaluation at home and abroad, currently representing the highest transport distribution ratio. In spite of this fact, the public transportation of Seoul, which has entered into advanced phase of services, still leaves much to be desired, in particular, the mobility considering the transportation vulnerable is not well assured. It is time to provide proper supports for the efficient mobility of public transportation in accordance with the social changes present in the aging and multicultural society. This study inquired about the current status of public transportation and that of its users. In addition, the main inquiry target was oriented to the elderly and foreigners for observation and investigation, as well as for the analysis of their behavior. Furthermore, through in-depth interviews, inconvenient factors have been found according to public transportation means and its usage phase, by carrying out detailed evaluations of public transportation services. Based on this, the enhancement elements were defined and the corresponding concept was designed through a series of idea workshops, and this study intended to contribute to improving future public transportation services by proposing the improvement scheme applicable to the upcoming public transportation.

The evaluation of public transit service quality is more complicated than evaluating other aspects of transportation service. Although various measures of effectiveness [MOEs] for transit service have been studied and applied, a more comprehensive and accurate MOE is still required. In the past, either data from user surveys or the experience of bus agency administrators and/or engineers used to measure the quality of service. However, recently, with reliable and accurate real time data from BMS(Bus Management System) and BIS(Bus Information System), more reliable and accurate MOEs are available. This study develops a service evaluation model from users' perspectives, which is based on user' cost models that consider passenger access time, riding time, waiting time, and discomfort due to in-vehicle overcrowding, violation of traffic laws, and accident rate. For validating proposed model, data from the BMS and transit-fare cards (T-Money Card) for Seoul's No. 472 main bus line were used. Models developed in this study provided reliable results.

무선통신 기술과 정보 기술을 이용해서 사용자 무선 단말에 다양한 정보를 제공하는 텔레매틱스 서비스는 차량 운전자, 탑승자 및 보행자 등 사용자에 따라 다양한 형태의 서비스로 진화하고 있다. 또한 무선통신망의 발전으로 인해 광대역 통신의 대용량 텔레매틱스 서비스로의 발전이 기대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 텔레매틱스 서비스 중에서 대중교통의 편리한 사용을 위한 보행자 위주의 길안내 서비스에 대해 논한다. 보행자 대중교통 안내 서비스를 위한 요구 사항을 기반으로 서비스 기능을 정의하고 서비스를 분류함으로써 보행자의 도보 및 대중교통 안내 서비스를 제안한다. 보행자 대중교통 안내 서비스는 보행자 도보 길안내 기능, 출발지와 목적지 기반의 One-Stop 대중교통 안내 기능, 대중교통 정보 제공 기능, 경로 예약 기능, 개인화 기능으로 분류할 수 있으며 각 기능의 정의 및 구성 요건들을 제안한다.

수년간 고농도 미세먼지 발생으로 인한 실내공기질 관리방안에 관한 논의가 계속되고 있다. 특히, 시민들이 하루에 1.75시간 이상 지하철 및 버스 등의 대중교통 내에서 머물고 있는 것으로 발표되고 있어 환경부에서는 2019년 대중교통에서의 공기질 관리 방안을 강화하는 것으로 발표한 바 있다. 최근 철도차량 등의 대중교통 차량에서 공기질 개선장치가 도입되고 있는 추세이긴 하나, 대부분의 기존 대중교통차량에서는 공기질 개선장치가 적용되어 있지 않고 대기질이 나쁨인 경우 실내 환기가 어려워 이용 시민들의 건강을 해칠 수 있는 상황이다. 이러한 상황에서 강화되는 실내공기질관리법을 만족하기 위해서는 다양한 대중교통 차량에서의 공기질 관리기술을 토대로 신규차량 뿐만 아니라 기존차량에서 적용할 수 있는 실제적인 논의가 필요하다. 본 기고문에서는 대중교통에서의 공기질 현황을 알아보고 효율적인 공기질개선을 위한 미세먼지 및 이산화탄소 저감에 관한 연구동향을 정리하고자 한다.

This study has redefined the concepts of mobility indexes and potential demand, standards to evaluate areas with the worst public transportation system and applied the relevant indexes to select the areas with the worst public transportation mobility and present a method to set direct public transportation lines between these regions. The mobility indexes and indexes to evaluate potential demand were applied to select the regions with the worst public transportation systems in four metropolitan cities and case studies were carried out on direct lines provided between these regions. The analysis results showed that in public transportation mobility blind spots, public transportation takes much longer than driving an automobile or public transportation services are not provided. In addition, the analysis showed that a direct lines system to solve such worst off regions should be built to have public transportation take as much time as driving an automobile by establishing lines for automobiles only, minimize time lost from hopping up and down a bus and maximize connections.

The purpose of this study is to establish and apply a public transport valuation system to form required policy for institutionalization. Over the past six years, Jeju has seen a steady increase in the number of cars owned by its population. Also, as the number of tourists has changed from group to individual tourists, the rate of rental car use has increased rapidly. As a result, road congestion in Jeju city is becoming as crowded as Seoul., Jeju Island is said to have created a foundation for faster, more convenient, and cheaper use of transportation through the reorganization of the public transportation system in August 2017. This is also reflected in the Public Transportation Value Assessment. Jeju residents were in favor of strengthening public transportation priority policy. In addition, public transport valuations are highly valued in the order of public transportation fares, public transportation stability, public transportation policies for the common people, public transportation policies for the vulnerable, public transportation policies for residents, environmentally-friendly policies, and public transportation to help ease traffic congestion. This is because public transportation has a wide range of values and should refine the factors that local governments use to evaluate policy. These methods need to be institutionalized and actively utilized through the establishment of a value assessment system for public transport.

Seoul's transportation system was changed drastically starting the first of June in two thousand. This policy includes integrated distance-based fare system and public transportation card system called smart card. Especially, as public transportation card data contains individual travel, transfer and using modes information it is possible to catch the characteristics of path-based individuals and mass transit. Thus, public transportation card data can contribute to evaluate the mass transit service in integrated public transportation networks. In addition, public transportation card data are able to help to convert previous researches and analyses with link-based trip assignment models to path-based mass transit service analysis. In this study, an algorithm being suitable for path-based trip assignment models is suggested and proposed algorithm can also contribute to make full use of public transportation card data. For this, column generation algorithm hewn to draw the stable solution is adopted. This paper uses the methodology that is to take local approximate equilibrium from partial network and expand local approximate equilibrium to global equilibrium.

The purpose of this study is to implement concept of public to passenger ship route to promote benefits and adopt competition principle among ship companies to elevate business efficiency. As of year 2005, passenger ships operate in 106 routes departing from 10 harbors including Mokpo, Masan, and Inchonto provide transportation system to island residents. Contrast to other public transportation systems excluding some tourism routes, this essential passenger ship are unable to fulfill various customer services to the passengers due to stagnation or declination. In addition, route adjustment and flexible passenger ship operation are not expected due to private property right of the route. Therefore, establishment of public transportation system for remote island route is initiated for the connection between cities and islands, boost travel industry of island economy, and balanced growth oh the nation.

A sudden increase of old people's free urban railway transportation resulted from the acceleration of aging trend causes the chronic deficit. As continuous deficit caused by the free urban railway transportation of old people is expected, a fairness problem about the fare system of using public transportation is issued because only the urban railway provides free-rides to them, which is contrast to bus-riders paying full payments. Therefore, the study intends to draw an alternate to solve the problem of the free urban transportation uses by calculating an appropriate fare ratio between the two transportation modes, which is expected to alleviate the fairness issue between the urban railway and the bus.
