  • In recent years, with the rapid development of large and medium-sized urban rail transit in China, the total operating mileage of high-speed railway and the total number of EMUs(Electric Multiple Units) are rising. The system complexity of high-speed EMU is constantly increasing, which puts forward higher requirements for the safety of equipment and the efficiency of maintenance.At present, the maintenance mode of high-speed EMU in China still adopts the post maintenance method based on planned maintenance and fault maintenance, which leads to insufficient or excessive maintenance, reduces the efficiency of equipment fault handling, and increases the maintenance cost. Based on the intelligent operation and maintenance technology of PHM(prognostics and health management). This thesis builds an integrated PHM platform of "vehicle system-communication system-ground system" by integrating multi-source heterogeneous data of different scenarios of high-speed EMU, and combines the equipment fault mechanism with artificial intelligence algorithms to build a fault prediction model for traction motors of high-speed EMU.Reliable fault prediction and accurate maintenance shall be carried out in advance to ensure safe and efficient operation of high-speed EMU.

A Research on the Design Tendency of Urban Open Space from the Viewpoint of Landscape Urbanism in the New York Case (뉴욕사례를 통한 랜드스케이프 어바니즘 관점의 도시 오픈 스페이스 디자인 경향에 관한 연구)

  • The planning of traditional urban has to face great challenges under the influence of the uncertainty and mobility of contemporary cities. While for this kind of challenge, it has brought the chance to develop Landscape Urbanism quickly. As an important practice place for Landscape Urbanism, open space provides a platform for many landscape designers to display. The purpose of this research is to explore the expression of the core content of Landscape Urbanism in open space, and propose the design tendency of open space in Korea. According to the constitution elements of urban open space and the core concept of Landscape Urbanism, this thesis establishes the analysis framework, which carries out the case empirical analysis for the open space of New York. Through case analysis, we can see that there are five major characteristics of Landscape Urbanism. That is, the integration or imitation of natural terrain, green infrastructure construction, emphasizing ecological resilience, adaptability to unplanned events, and analyzing the site from multiple scales. In this research, the design proposal proposed on the basis of Landscape Urbanism is able to provide enlightenment for the urban open space design of Korea in the future.

A Study on The Metaverse Content Production Pipeline using ZEPETO World (제페토 월드를 활용한 메타버스 콘텐츠 제작 공정에 관한 연구)

  • This study proposes the metaverse content production pipeline using ZEPETO World, one of the representative metaverse platforms in Korea. Based on the Unity 3D engine, the ZEPETO world is configured using the ZEPETO template, and the core functions of the metaverse content that enable multi-user participation such as logic, interaction, and property control are implemented through the ZEPETO script. This study utilizes the basic functions such as properties, events, and components of the ZEPETO script as well as the ZEPETO player which includes avatar loading, character movement, and camera control functions. In addition, based on ZEPETO's properties such as World Multiplayer and Client Starter, it summarizes the core synchronization process required for multiplay metaverse content production, such as object transformation, dynamic object creation, property addition, and real-time property control. Based on this, we check the proposed production pipeline by directly producing multiplay metaverse content using ZEPETO World.

  • Networks are growing faster than ever before causing a multi-domain complexity. The diversity, variety and dynamic nature of network traffic and services require enhanced orchestration and management approaches. While many standard orchestrators and network operators are resulting in an increase of complexity for handling E2E slice orchestration. Besides, there are multiple domains involved in E2E slice orchestration including access, edge, transport and core network each having their specific challenges. Hence, handling of multi-domain, multi-platform and multi-operator based networking environments manually requires specified experts and using this approach it is impossible to handle the dynamic changes in the network at runtime. Also, the manual approaches towards handling such complexity is always error-prone and tedious. Hence, this work proposes an automated and abstracted solution for handling E2E slice orchestration using an intent-based approach. It abstracts the domains from the operators and enable them to provide their orchestration intention in the form of high-level intents. Besides, it actively monitors the orchestrated resources and based on current monitoring stats using the machine learning it predicts future utilization of resources for updating the system states. Resulting in a closed-loop automated E2E network orchestration and management system.

A Graphene-electrode-based Infrared Fresnel Lens with Multifocal Function (다초점 기능을 갖는 그래핀 전극 기반 적외선 프레넬 렌즈)

  • We study through computational simulation the focal performance of an infrared (IR) Fresnel lens, composed of a multilayer-graphene zone plate formed under a graphene electrode. Here the Fermi level EF of the patterned multilayer graphene is adjusted by the overlying graphene electrode. The Fresnel lens effect, with respect to the reflectance contrast between the graphene electrode and the 8-layer graphene zone plate placed on a glass substrate, has been analyzed over a broad wavelength range from 4 to 30 ㎛. As the optimal wavelength of 8 ㎛ (considering the reflectance and the reflectance-contrast ratio) is incident upon the Fresnel lens with a focal length of 240 ㎛, the focal intensity is enhanced by a factor of 4.3 as the EF of multilayer graphene increases from 0.4 eV to 1.6 eV, and is improved by a factor of 5.8 as the number of graphene layers increases from two to eight. As a result, an all-graphene-based IR Fresnel zone-plate lens, exhibiting multifocal function (240 ㎛ and 360 ㎛) according to the selected EF, is proposed as an ultrathin lens platform.

  • As global growth has gradually declined, the Customer to Customer (C2C) market has expanded. And the growth potential of the C2C market is getting higher than in the past. Therefore, in this study, we examined what factors affect the price of used products within the C2C market. In order to examine the factors, we used data provided by Kaggle, which is a data science platform, and Mercari, Japan's largest C2C community marketplace platform. In research methods, the characteristics of the products were selected such as product categories, product status, shipping costs, product brands, and the data were analyzed using a linear mixing model to predict the price of C2C used goods. As a result, the variable that most affected the price was the shipping cost. When the seller paid for the shipping cost, the price would drop more than if the buyer had to pay. This study has been shown that the shipping costs is also an important factor in the used market, which can provide practical implications for customers of real transactions.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of SNS marketing characteristics on hair shop image formation and visit intention in the hair beauty industry. SNS marketing is a strategy to carry out marketing activities through interaction with customers, information provision, information trust, and playfulness using modern social media platforms. It was intended to analyze how these characteristics of SNS marketing affect the formation of hair shop images and visit intention to customers in the hair beauty industry. For the study, a total of 307 customers with experience using hair-related SNS were surveyed. The questionnaire included items related to SNS marketing characteristics, hair shop images, and visit intention, and the collected data was statistically analyzed using SPSS 26.0. The results of the research problem were derived by applying analysis methods such as frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, and mediated regression analysis. As a result of the study, it was found that information provision, information reliability, playfulness, and interaction, which are characteristics of SNS marketing, have a positive effect on the formation of hair shop images. In addition, it was confirmed that the hair shop image had a positive effect on the intention to visit. In addition, it was found that the hair shop image plays a mediating role between the SNS marketing characteristics and the intention to visit. This provides important insights that can improve image formation and customer visit intention in the hair beauty industry through SNS marketing.

A Study on Repetition and Multiplicite of Superhero Comics (슈퍼히어로 코믹의 반복과 다양체적 형식에 관한 연구)

  • American superhero comics are being produced in numerous different forms for multiple, and cross-platform media. In cinema, films based on superhero comics top the list of all time box office records. The same phenomenon of the 'Invasion of Superhero' is duplicated in Korean box office 2012, however, the korean fans are not familiar with the superheroes from the publication which provides the original source of characters and stories for other superhero related media products. Based on observing the multiple and vastness of world building characteristics of superhero comic, this paper attempts to associate the continuous creative nature and the infinite repetition of superheroes and comic texts with the identity of superhero on ontological level. First, chapter 2 examines how one superhero exists in multiple and different worlds individually by utilizing the concept of 'multi-universe' or 'multiverse' in comic texts. Initially, duplicating a superhero on multiple settings and series destroyed continuity and allowed contradiction and paradox confused narrative as a whole, but it also gave chances for comics to be more vibrant and experimental with their stories and characters. Chapter 3 analyzes the superhero comic texts in the light of repetition, concept developed by french philosopher Gilles Deleuze, and make the argument that the superheroes and texts are not repeated to generate surplus of source for economic utilitarian purposes, but it is, first and foremost, a repetition of creativeness and capability. Many concepts introduced by Deleuze in his early masterpiece, $\acute{e}$rence et R$\acute{e}$p$\acute{e}$tition> are taken to support this argument. Mainly, his critical views on generality of the identity and his effort to replace the Plato's system of representation with vibrant creative, and renewal energy of r$\acute{e}$p$\acute{e}$tition. According to Deleuze, repetition is similar concept, if not identical, to what Nietzsche called the 'eternal return' which allows the return of the Overhuman or the Superhuman, and he extends his idea that the returning Overhuman is the singular simulacre which opposes the generalization of identity, in the likes of Plato's Idea. Thus, the superhero's identity is ever changing, ever returning, and ever renewing Overhuman. The superhero must be repeated to fully actualize his/her existence. Also, based on Deleuze's reading of Bergson's texts on the Virtual, the superhero, for example Superman, is actualization of his/her multiplisit$\acute{e}$, the internally multiple, and differentiated variations from itself. These every Supermans' multiplisit$\acute{e}$ shares common memory, past, and duration, thus the Virtual of Superman. Superman becomes himself only by actualizing the movement and differentiation from these multiplisit$\acute{e}$ in his virtual on the surface of reality. On chapter 4, a popular Korean comic book character Oh, Hae-Sung's r$\acute{e}$p$\acute{e}$tition and multiplist$\acute{e}$ are analyzed, and makes comparison to that of Superman to distinguish the repetition from r$\acute{e}$p$\acute{e}$tition, and multiplicit$\acute{e}$ from diversity.

Development of Summer Leaf Vegetable Crop Energy Model for Rooftop Greenhouse (옥상온실에서의 여름철 엽채류 작물에너지 교환 모델 개발)

  • Domestic facility agriculture grows rapidly, such as modernization and large-scale. And the production scale increases significantly compared to the area, accounting for about 60% of the total agricultural production. Greenhouses require energy input to create an appropriate environment for stable mass production throughout the year, but the energy load per unit area is large because of low insulation properties. Through the rooftop greenhouse, one of the types of urban agriculture, energy that is not discarded or utilized in the building can be used in the rooftop greenhouse. And the cooling and heating load of the building can be reduced through optimal greenhouse operation. Dynamic energy analysis for various environmental conditions should be preceded for efficient operation of rooftop greenhouses, and about 40% of the solar energy introduced in the greenhouse is energy exchange for crops, so it should be considered essential. A major analysis is needed for each sensible heat and latent heat load by leaf surface temperature and evapotranspiration, dominant in energy flow. Therefore, an experiment was conducted in a rooftop greenhouse located at the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials to analyze the energy exchange according to the growth stage of crops. A micro-meteorological and nutrient solution environment and growth survey were conducted around the crops. Finally, a regression model of leaf temperature and evapotranspiration according to the growth stage of leafy vegetables was developed, and using this, the dynamic energy model of the rooftop greenhouse considering heat transfer between crops and the surrounding air can be analyzed.

Multi-classification of Osteoporosis Grading Stages Using Abdominal Computed Tomography with Clinical Variables : Application of Deep Learning with a Convolutional Neural Network (멀티 모달리티 데이터 활용을 통한 골다공증 단계 다중 분류 시스템 개발: 합성곱 신경망 기반의 딥러닝 적용)

  • Osteoporosis is a major health issue globally, often remaining undetected until a fracture occurs. To facilitate early detection, deep learning (DL) models were developed to classify osteoporosis using abdominal computed tomography (CT) scans. This study was conducted using retrospectively collected data from 3,012 contrast-enhanced abdominal CT scans. The DL models developed in this study were constructed for using image data, demographic/clinical information, and multi-modality data, respectively. Patients were categorized into the normal, osteopenia, and osteoporosis groups based on their T-scores, obtained from dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry, into normal, osteopenia, and osteoporosis groups. The models showed high accuracy and effectiveness, with the combined data model performing the best, achieving an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.94 and an accuracy of 0.80. The image-based model also performed well, while the demographic data model had lower accuracy and effectiveness. In addition, the DL model was interpreted by gradient-weighted class activation mapping (Grad-CAM) to highlight clinically relevant features in the images, revealing the femoral neck as a common site for fractures. The study shows that DL can accurately identify osteoporosis stages from clinical data, indicating the potential of abdominal CT scans in early osteoporosis detection and reducing fracture risks with prompt treatment.
