  • The study was conducted to identify related risk factor of elderly's suicidal ideation. This study used a cross-sectional design with secondary analysis of the $6^{th}$ 2013 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES). Data for 1,201 elderlies who aged over 65 years old from the KNHANES were included. Suicidal ideation, general characteristics, physical health, psychological health, EuroQoL, and health behavior were measured. Chi-square test, t-test, and multiple logistic regression were used to analyze this data through the SPSS win 22.0 program. In the results, 7.7% of the elderly had suicidal ideation. The odds ratios of suicidal ideation were significantly higher among those with restriction of activity (OR=1.31, CI=1.40~3.82), those with depression (OR=4.44, CI=1.66~7.40), and those with high levels of stress (OR=9.24, CI=3.48~24.5). Therefore, the activity level, depression level, and stress level need to be regularly assessed in order to prevent suicidal ideation among the elderly.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting the motivation for blood donation participation of university students. The subjects of this study were 200 university students in one area, and a self-report questionnaire was used for data collection. The data analysis used frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Independent T-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, and Multiple Regression Analysis. As a result of the study, the factors influencing the subjects' motivation to participate in blood donation were significant in the order of attitude toward blood donation, future blood donation plan, perceived health status, altruism, and number of blood donation experiences. The results of this study can be used as basic data for the development of educational programs to increase the motivation for blood donation participation of university students. It also suggests that there is a need to develop strategies that can increase university students' attitudes toward blood donation, altruism, and health status.

  • This study was to find factors affecting on recognition and performance of peripheral intravenous infusion management among pediatric nurses. In analysis using SPSS/Win 24.0, the average scores of recognition and performance were 3.34±0.39, 3.42±0.37 out of 4 each. 'Maintenance and exchange' and 'education' were the lowest each among subdomains. There're significant differences in recognition and performance according to working departments et. al.(p=.039, p<.001), and there's a positive correlation between recognition and performance(r=.591, p<.001). Factors affecting on recognition were performance(β=.57) and working department(β=.22), and on performance were recognition(β=.57) and educated experience(β=.19). And explanation rate were 41.2%, 41.4% each in stepwise multiple regression. In conclusion, recognition and performance were mutually influencing factors. Therefore, it is needed to increase performance by preparing measures to improve recognition of peripheral intravenous infusion management.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of grit, resilience, academic self-efficacy, and learning flow of nursing college students in the COVID-19 situation to identify the factors that influence burnout. Data were collected by using questionnaires from 155 students who were in 3rd year of the nursing college in G city, from May 11 to May 25, 2021. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe, Kruskal-Wallis test, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. Statistically, burnout showed a significantly negative correlation with grit, resilience and academic self-efficacy. Influencing factors on burnout were resilience, satisfaction of major, academic self-efficacy and satisfaction of clinic practice accounting for 60% of the total change. Based on this study, strategies to enhance resilience, satisfaction of major, academic self-efficacy and satisfaction of clinic practice are required to reduce the burnout of nursing college students in the COVID-19 situation.

Questionnaires included general characteristics, body mass index, marital intimacy, self-esteem, life event stress, and depression. Data were collected from August 15 to October 20, 2020. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression using SPSS Win 23.0. As a results, depression had a significantly negative correlation with marital intimacy (r=-.44, p<.001) and self-esteem (β=-.40, p<.001). Self-esteem had a significantly positive correlation with marital intimacy (r=.48, p<.001). Factors influencing depression in marital middle-aged men were marital intimacy (β=-.24, p=.003) and self-esteem (β=-.40, p<.001). These variables explained 32.1% of depression. To reduce depression of married middle-aged men, nursing strategies considering marital intimacy and self-esteem must be provided to the middle-aged men.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the influencing factors on the breast self-examination performance among nursing students. The data collection period was from April 12 to April 26, 2021. Data was gathered from 240 nursing students by using a structured questionnaire. The data was analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficients and a stepwise regression analysis using the SPSS/WIN 25.0 program. As the result of this study, the factors influencing breast self-examination perfomance were found to be breast self-examination and dietary habits with the explanatory power of these variables being 14.2%(F=19.53, 𝜌<.001). Based on this study, further study may be needed to evaluate the dietary habits of nursing students so that they can practice proper eating behavior. In addition, to maximize the educational effect, there may need to be a development of programs aimed to prevent breast cancer among nursing students.

  • In the new era of the 4th industrial revolution, new jobs using the latest technologies such as big data, cloud, IoT, and AI are increasing. In the field of various industries, talents who can converge IT and industrial fields are needed, but such convergence-type talents are insufficient. This study analyzed the effects of IT convergence startup education on the learning effect and educational performance of trainees preparing for re-employment. A survey was conducted with 160 trainees preparing for reemployment. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using the analysis tool SPSS 22.0 program. As a result of the study, first, in the IT convergence startup education of trainees who are preparing for re-employment, it was found that the sub-factors such as education content, instructor, and member satisfaction had a positive effect on the learning effect. Second, in the IT convergence start-up education for employment trainees, it was found that the sub-factors such as education contents, instructors, and the satisfaction of learning members had a significant effect on educational performance. It is expected that this study will serve as a basic data for preparing a start-up support system to revitalize start-ups in the IT convergence field.

  • This study is a descriptive research study for the elderly who participated in the community's fair to identify the factors of the convergent impact of perceived health conditions, health promotion activities and dementia anxiety on the quality of health-related life. The research subjects were surveyed on 435 senior citizens aged 65 or older among the participants in the 2019 Regional Exposition, and analyzed using statistics, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 21.0 program. According to the study, the quality of life related to health affects 53.0% of the convergence factors such as perceived health conditions, health promotion activities, monthly income, and economic conditions. Therefore, various community events or programs that can lead to the reduction of dementia anxiety and the improvement of health promotion activities will have to be developed to motivate or make promotional efforts for senior citizens to participate in community events or programs, which will enable senior citizens to build social networks through the participation of various programs in the community, thereby improving health promotion activities and reducing dementia anxiety, which will improve the quality of life for senior citizens.
