Performance of multilevel polarization shift keying system (다중레벨 편광편이키잉 시스템의 성능)

  • In this paper, Stokes parameters which represent the states of polarization of transmitted light are determined by potential function, which is used to obtain signals points in a multidimensional Euclidean structure. And performance of multilevel polarization shift keying(POLSK) system using the obtained parameters is also represented and analyzed. As results, bit error rate of multilevel POLSK system using the potential function is shown to be lower than the conventional one using the distance matrix. And as number of levels increases, the number of photons per bit for bit error rate of 10$^{-9}$ is also increased linearly. The multilevel POLSK system, therefore, is an energy efficient modulation technque as compared with the convnetional ones.

  • This paper analyzes the dynamic spars algebraic codebook used to model a residual signal and proposes a new algebraic codebook structure as well as a searching process with improved performance. The proposed algorithm improves the disadvantage of algebraic codebook without increased computation. First, this paper makes it possibel to select various pulse amplitudes differently from the conventional method which looks up the sign bit simply. In addition, two pulses are made to be selected on the same track. For speech quality on the telephone line 5.6kbps speech coder using the proposed algorithm was equivalent to the 6.3kbps MP-MLQ in the viewpoint of subjective speech quality. However, speech degradation was caused a little compared to the MP-MLQ where MNRU 1=15dB.

  • 다중 물체 추적은 움직이는 물체를 추출하고 검출된 정보와 물체 정보를 이용하여 움직임 궤도률 추적하는 것이다. 따라서 정확한 움직임 추적이 수행되려면 효율적인 물체의 추출이 선행 되어 져야 한다. 일반적으로 영상 분할 알고리즘은 다양한 증류의 영상에 대한 물체의 수학적 모델이 찌대로 설정되어 있지 않기 때문에 물체를 정확하게 분리해 내기 어렵다. 그러나 물체의 추출에 주로 처리 속도가 빠른 배경영상을 이용한 차(difference) 영상 기법과 반 자동 영상분할인 Snake Model이 갖는 Active Contour 알고리즘과 같이 물체 추출 과정에서 물체의 정의니 semantic 정보를 부여 한다면 개선된 영상 분할의 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 따라서 차 영상 기법과 semantic 정보를 가진 영상분할 알고리즘은 동영상에서 움직임 물체의 VOP(Video Object Plane)를 생성하는 매우 현실적인 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 영상의 상위 레벨Semantic 정보를 이용하기 위해 변형 Snake Model를 이용한 영상분할 방법을 이용하여 영상을 추출한다. 추출된 물체는 윤곽선(곡선) 정보와 함께 에지 성분의 기울기에서 얻은 특징 점을 이용하여 물체를 추적해 나간다.

  • This paper deals with the three phase high voltage power-grid connection topology using multi-level inverter. Due to the multi-level inverter, these are improved effect of fluctuating voltage, problem of EMC and switching loss using suitable switching patterns of device, above all thing, it is easy to realize the system because of using lower voltage rating switch. This topology can be applicable to power-grid connection of wind system, there is a good point about economical efficiency. The simulation results are presented to verify the validity of the proposed topology.

  • A method on the hardware implementation of the Multi-channel FIR digital filter using Digital Quarter Square Multiplication(DQSM) algorithm is proposed. This paper describes that ROM requirement can be reduced by using the double precision algorithm and the absolute value circuit, and also execution speed can be improved by reducing logic level steps of absolute value circuit. The frequency response of the four channel FIR digital filter implemented by the above method is quite agreeable with the frequency response simulated by Remez excahange algorithm.

  • Through the increment of requirement for EC(Electronic Commerce) oriented communication services, security multicast communications is becoming more important. However, multicast to EC environment is much different from unicast concept most network security protocols. On the network security, using mandatory access control of multilevel architecture which assigns a specific meaning to each subject, so we accomplish access control. In this way, access control security based on the information security level is proposed. A security protocol based on the architecture proposed in this paper would be utilized in security multicast communications, group key management service and leveled security service through multilevel EC security policy, Also we discuss and propose the security level scaleability and key management method on the network.

  • The study on the multi-level inverter has been increasingly progressing to reduce the switching loss and improve the THD of output current in photovoltaic inverter. Recently, the main topics of multi-level inverter are to reduce the number of devices maintaining the power quality. Therefore, the novel topology was proposed for these problem which is composed of the isolated H-bridge multi-level inverter using the three phase low frequency transformer. The proposed multi-level inverter may not be need for a independent DC power, diode and capacitor. Specially, It has a advantage in generating high voltage source. The proposed approach is verified through simulation and experiment.

  • 본 논문에서는 절연형 풀브릿지 컨버터의 고조파 변압기 2차측을 직렬로 연결하여 스위칭 주파수 증대효과가 있는 새로운 전력변환기를 제안하였다. 제안된 컨버터는 기존 방식에 비해 정류부와 필터부의 일원화가 가능한 구조로 수동소자의 수를 대폭 줄일 수 있다. 또한 제안된 전력변환기 구조에서 출력전압의 리플과 높은 승압비를 유지하기 위한 새로운 가변 위상 변위형 스위칭 방식을 제안하였다.

  • 본 논문은 수십 MW용량의 풍력단지를 교류전력망에 연계하기 위한 다중펄스 컨버터와 PWM 컨버터로 구성된 Back-to-Back 컨버터를 제안하였다. 시뮬레이션 모델개발과 하드웨어 축소모형 실험을 통해 제안하는 Back-to-Back 컨버터의 시스템 구성 및 동작특성에 대해서 분석하고 3-레벨 24-펄스 컨버터를 영전압과 점호각을 제어할 경우와 점호각만을 제어할 경우 제어상의 장 단점과 제어성능을 비교분석하였다.

  • In this paper, we proposed the electric circuit using one common arm of H-Bridge Inverters to reduce the number of switching component in multi-level PWM inverter combined with H-Bridge Inverters and Transformers. and we proposed the switching method that can be same rate of usage at each transformer. Also, we tested the proposed prototype inverter to clarify the proposed electric circuit and reasonableness of control signal.
