Real-Time Multiversion Concurrency Control Supporting Active Behavior (능동성 개념을 지원하는 실시간 다중버전 동시성 제어 기법)

  • ECA 규칙에 근거한 능동성 개념은 실시간 데이터베이스에서 중요한 연구 분야이다. 기존에 연구된 실시간 동시성 제어 기법들은 능동성 개념을 지원하지 않기 때문에 실시간 능동 데이터베이스를 위한 동시성 제어 기법을 제안한다. 기존에 제안된 실시간 다중버전 동시성 제어 기법을 능동 데이터베이스에 적용하여 시간 제약과 능동 규칙을 동시에 만족하도록 고안하였다. 특히, 본 연구에서 제안한 동시성 제어 기법은 ECA 규칙에 의해서 실행된 트랜잭션들 사이의 선행관계와 능동관계를 연관시켜 데이터베이스의 일관성을 유지한다.

Audience Activity for Digital Media: In the Study of PPV(Pay Per View) Use (디지털 미디어 수용자의 능동성에 관한 연구: PPV(Pay Per View) 이용행태를 중심으로)

  • In the era of digital media, one of the most distinctive characteristics is the activity what audience play. This characteristic can be particularly demonstrated in the case of PPV(Pay-Per-View) use. Since this service is related with payment by audience according to each behaviour of their own media use. In doing so, this paper explores the characteristics and behavioral pattern in PPV use. In particular, the study tries to predict from the result that which trait of characteristic can explain the adoption of PPV. The analytical result shows that PPV users are much more active in gathering information as well as achieving the diversity in terms of program choice compared to non PPV users. At the same time, PPV users are prone to be unsatisfied against the other media and naturally willing to adopt the new media. PPV users are much more keen to use toward age related programme classification system in order to protect their children from inappropriate programmes. The variable of participational behaviour is the most relevant variable to predict the degree of PPV use, however, it fails to predict to distinguish the PPV users group from non PPV users group. It maybe given as a conclusion that PPV users are much more active in not only choosing their own program they like to watch but also planning ahead for maximising their pleasure from viewing.

  • Changed TV, that has multi-channel and interactive attribute, requires viewer's activity. Also, broadcasting environment and TV user interface require same things equally. But, the viewer feels uncomfortable in current situation because they recognize the TV as passive media. especially, TV interface can't overcome limitation of TV media. And such interface is provided as it is. This problem brings viewer's confusion and dissatisfaction more and more. This study raises a question about viewer's activity and satisfaction, analyzes the relation and effect between activity and satisfaction.

The Effects of Learning Activities on the Application of Augmented Reality Contents in Elementary Science Instruction (초등학교 과학수업에서 AR 콘텐츠 활용이 학습 활동에 미치는 효과)

  • This study compared the differences between a group that studied with AR contents and a group that studied in a traditional method to examine the effects of AR contents use in elementary school science classes. The effects in four areas of studying were examined : study focus rate, study activities consuming variables, study participation activeness and instructional climate. As a result, there was no significant difference in study concentration rate between the AR and traditional groups. For study participation activeness, the AR group had higher participation actions, but there was no difference between the groups for language participation. For study activities consuming variables, the AR group stimulated more diverse study activities than the traditional group. For instruction climate, the AR contents group contributed more to creating a positive climate compared to the traditional group. Therefore, the results showed that application of AR contents on science classes would stimulate active participation of students and various study activities and help create a positive instructional climate.

  • TV has changed from simple broadcast media to integrated media that can operate multiple-function So, TV has offered various services and users are using their control on TV. However, TV is still passive media in social stereotype, these change brings viewers a lot of confusion. In this study, we conducted a survey about viewer's activity, perception and satisfaction of TV to understand view's watching pattern. We hope our research will be used to understand the gap of TV and viewers.

  • This research examines the philosophy of Toegye and Spinoza in the postneo-Confucian and post-modern perspective in emphasizing the activity of Ri(理) and reason beyond the similarities of system in their thought. There is no disagreement in viewing Toegye and Spinoza as balanced opposites in their attempts to harmonize man and nature. In this discussion, I will infer the similarities of Toegye and Spinoza in terms of an 'activity-passivity' thesis.

Uses and Gratifications of TV Home-shopping Channels (TV홈쇼핑 채널의 이용과 충족연구)

  • This study takes a uses and gratification theory based approach to identifying the relation between TV home-shopping channel use motivation and purchase intention. The results are summarized as follows. First, in respect of TV home-shopping channel use motivation, the analysis results reveal three factors: convenience, information seeking, and entertainment. Among these, the factor of convenience was the first in the order of importance. Secondly, 1)It is found that use motivation also has some limited influence on purchase intention. 2)Selectivity and involvement degree, the sub-categories of audience activity, are found to be the variables with the highest prediction ability, suggesting a need to give a particular attention to them. 3)In addition, viewing amount, a variable of use behavior, is shown to have a significant influence on purchase intention. The followings are the implications of the study results. First, marketing strategies that enable maximization of shopping convenience are required. Second, there is a need to approach the delivery of TV home-shopping contents as a kind of broadcasting contents on their own rather than merely a medium for selling goods.

Issues and Significance of the Li Theory of Nature in the 19th Century (19세기 성리학(性理學)의 쟁점과 그 의미)

  • Two schools represent the Li theory of nature in the 19th century. They are the Li's superintendence school of Lee Hangno, Ki Jungchin and Lee Jinsang and the Li and Ki's mutual superintendence school of Chun Woo. They share a theoretical concern about the blockage of Ki's free rein. However, their concepts of superintendence are very different. Thus, various disputes arise among them and consequently different solutions are proposed. The Li's superintendence school applies Li's power even in the actual world, which has completely dominated Ki by conferring dynamic power on Li. However, Chun Woo, a representative theorist of Li and Ki's mutual superintendence, accepts only Ki's dynamic power. By denying Li's dynamic power, he argues that there is no other thing than Ki which takes the lead in reality. His solution to block Ki's free rein is to make Ki(mind) a disciple of Li(standard or nature) and to make Ki follow Li's lead.

The Effect of Motives for Using IPTV Advertising on Using Behavior of IPTV Advertising (IPTV 광고 이용동기가 IPTV 광고 이용행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study attempts to understand the motives for using IPTV advertising and to understand the impact of the motivations on using behavior of IPTV advertising. To understand the motives for using IPTV advertising, a survey was conducted after pre-test for questionnaire design. The Composition of motive factors were ascertained through factor analysis. The analysis produced 4 dimensions of motives for using IPTV advertising, including 'economic motivation', 'information', 'advertising', and 'passing time/habit'. Each motive impacted on each using behavior differently.
