In this paper, we deal with some axiomatic extensions of the involutive micanorm logic IMICAL. More precisely, first, the two involutive micanorm-based logics $P_nIMICAL$ and $FP_nIMICAL$ are introduced. Their algebraic structures are then defined, and their corresponding algebraic completeness is established. Next, standard completeness is established for $FP_nIMICAL$ using construction in the style of Jenei-Montagna.

This paper deals with the pretabular property of some fuzzy logics. For this, we first introduce the involutive idempotent uninorm logics IdIUL and IUML and examine the relationship between IdIUL and the another well-known system $RM^T$. Next, we show that IUML is pretabular, whereas IdIUL is not.

We calculated line profiles of 32 Cyg with an assumed $str{\"{o}}mgren$ sphere at orbital phases 0.06 and 0.78. The wind models with $Alfv\'{e}n$ waves show diminished line profiles compared to those of the models using power velocity laws. The reduced density of absorbers in HII region produce weak profiles, but line profiles at ${\phi}=0.06$ do not show the differences except in the red edge of absorption. At ${\phi}=0.78$ however, we could reproduce the line profiles of Alfven waves model by the power law models with two velocity gradients. It suggests that the power law model with 2 acceleration regions could reduce the errors in the theoretical line formation with no consideration of wind acceleration mechanism.nism.

An observation which is useful for hardware implementation of programmable FIR filters with powers-of two coefficients (2PFIR filters) is made. Specifically, it is shown that the exponents of filter coefficients representable by the canonical signed digit(CSD) code with M ternary digits can be chosen from some subsets of {0, 1, $\cdots$, M-1}. This observation naturally leads to 2PFIR filters with shorter shifters whose length is strictly less than M and, as a consequence, leads to an efficient hardware structure fo programmable 2PFIR filtering. In addition, we present some experimental results indicating that the shifters of 2PFIR filters can be shortened further in some cases.

This paper presents a method for computing the powers and inverse of an element in GF($2^m$). This method is based on the squaring algorithm $A^2=\sum\limits_{i=0}^{2m-2}P_i$, where $Pi={\alpha}_{i/2}$ if i is even, Pi=0 otherwise, derived from the multiplication algorithm for two elements in GF($2^m$). The powers and inverses in GF($2^m$) for m=2, 3, 4,5 were obtained using computer program, and used in circuit realization of Galois switching function. The squaring and inverse generating circuits are also shown.

A generalized elastic solution for a transient mode III crack propagating along the gradient in functionally graded materials (FGMs) is obtained through an asymptotic analysis. The shear modulus and density of the FGMs are assumed to vary exponentially along the gradient. The stress and displacement fields near the crack tip are obtained in terms of powers of radial coordinates, and the coefficients depend on the time rates of the change of the crack tip speed and stress intensity factors. The influence of nonhomogeneity and transients on the higher order terms of the stress and displacement fields is discussed.

농지, 임야지역에서의 강우유출수 수질의 파악은 수자원 수질관리에 있어서 바탕수질(Background water quality)이기 때문에 물관리에 있어 매우 중요한다. 본 연구는 농지와 임야가 혼합된 도시외곽지역에서 강우시에 발생하는 강우유출수의 수질 및 오염부하량에 대하여 유역특성이 다른 두 지역에서 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 대상 유역은 임야와 농경지가 주를 이루는 지역으로 농지의 비율이 자자 $0.4\%$와 $35.9\%$인 유역이다. 측정은 건기에서부터 강우기 때까지 각 유역 당 10개의 강우 사상에 대하여 실시하였다. 측정 대상 항목으로는 pH, SS, TCOD, SCOD, BOD, TP, TN, $NH_3-N$, $NO_3-N$, $PO_4-P$, Total coliform, Escherchia Coli를 측정하였고, pollutograph, loadgraph을 작성하였다. 분석 결과 농지의 비율이 큰 유역에서 발생하는 오염부하량이 모든 수질 항목에서 높게 나타났으며, SS, 유기물, 미생물 항목에서 초기강우세척철상(first flush)을 보이고 있었다. 또한 측정 자료에 내한 동계분석결과 SS항목과 유기물 항목은 높은 상관관계를 나타내고 있었으며, 강우에 따른 오염부하량은 누승함수, 2차함수의 형태로 증가하였다.
