The Effect of Technical Characteristics of Smart Farm on Acceptance Intention by Mediating Effect of Effort Expectation (스마트팜의 기술적 특성이 노력기대를 매개로 수용의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is to look at the influential factors associated with the acceptance intention of smart farm and suggest a proposal for spreading adoption of smart farms. The research questionnaire distributed to the farmers were used for the research analysis by statistical program SPSS v22.0 and Process macro v3.0. The technical characteristics of smart farm, which are availability, reliability and economic efficiency were selected as independent variables to analyze the influential factors on acceptance intention of smart farm and the mediating effect of effort expectation was observed. As a result, availability and economic efficiency have a positive(+) influence on acceptance intention and reliability have no influence on acceptance intention. And availability, reliability and economic efficiency have a positive(+) influence on effort expectation. Effort expectation mediates the relationship between the technical characteristics of smart farm and acceptance intention. The results of the study are expected to be utilized at the seeking direction of policy for potential adopters of smart farm, the training and consulting in actual field of smart farm.

  • 6th Industry reduced agricultural income and rural areas, the economic downturn is going to be activated is attracting attention as an alternative. 6th industry means that the integrated or linked, the manufacture and processing of secondary industry based on primary industry, the distribution and service of tertiary industry. Park Geun-hye government to realize the creative economy in agriculture as an alternative to specifically evaluate the 6th industries and suggests various policy alternatives. In addition, to support the development of models and analysis of best practices, including sleep studies are in progress. However, the 6th Industry management body for performing management level, technical level, the leader in comprehensive evaluation of competencies and indicators on the development of an evaluation study is insufficient. In this regard, the present study performed 6th industry management body for the management level, technical level, the leader competency evaluation indicators to develop a comprehensive evaluation by utilizing AHP method was developed indicators.   • With the disappearance of boundaries between online and offline, the O2O(online to offline) platform service is rapidly growing. Unlike general products, freshness is an important decision-making factor for agri-food, and there are many limiting factors for growth as an open market among O2O platforms due to the characteristics of difficult refunds and exchanges compared to other items and new transaction methods. In order to overcome these obstacles, consumer innovation must be considered. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of O2O(online to offline) platform characteristics perception on agri-food repurchase intentions. And an empirical survey of the hypothesis is made that innovation will show a moderating effect between agri-food O2O platform characteristics and repurchase intention. For this purpose, Using a convenience sampling technique, an online survey was conducted through Google survey from April 1 to April 15, 2021. A total of final analysis data were collected from a total of 270 purchase experienced of agri-food O2O(online to offline) platform. The SPSS program was used for analysis, and multiple regression analysis was used for hypothesis verification. The results showed that Economic, Interaction, and Playfulness had a significant positive effect on agri-food repurchase intend. Also, Interactivity × innovation, playfulness × innovation were found to have a significant positive (+) effect on repurchase intention. The results of this study show that innovation reduces the burden on consumers for new systems and mobile transactions. The results of this study suggest that convenient interface design is important for activating O2O transactions of agri-food. In addition, education and support are needed to strengthen the IT competency of farmers. The results of this study will be able to contribute to the establishment of infrastructure for agri-food open market shopping malls. In future studies, the influence of the O2O platform type on the purchase intention should be studied continuously.

  • The competition between countries became internationalized in the market. However, a situation in which globalization is concerned is important to domestic corporates. Corporate strategy to survive in the domestic market are also juggling the limit of survival. Technology transfer and commercialization at this point has important implications now. The same applies to the national level. Public-to-private technology transfer has been more important, in order to overcome the international competitions. Although various studies have been made to promote technology transfer, in the livestock sector rarely attempted. Taking into account that few previous research and theory development has been achieved, the paper explored the technology transfer phenomenon in the sector employing the grounded theory approach by Strauss & Corbin(1998). Corporates that licensed in technologies through the Foundation of Agri. Tech. Commercialization & Transfer, were targeted as informants or interviewees. Finally, eight informants were selected sequentially utilizing theoretical sampling technique to the saturation point. As the result of open coding and axial coding of the interview data using NVivo10 by QSR International, 77 concepts, 20 sub-categories, and 7 categories were derived while paradigm model was established. Through selective coding, 'the factors affecting technology transfer in livestock sector' was identified as core category. The story line about the core category was developed based on four main categories. Finally, it is expected that the concepts, categories, and the relationship between them can be an important basis for further research.

Changes of Aroma Compounds during Kimchi Powder Production and Encapsulation Effect of β-Cyclodextrin (김치 감압건조 시 향기성분의 변화 및 β-cyclodextrin의 향기성분 포집효과)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the change of volatile aroma compounds in kimchi during fermentation, before and after drying process. Also, the encapsulation effect of cyclodextrin on volatiles during the drying process was examined. GC-MS was used for detection and identification of volatile compounds. During kimchi fermentation, in the early stage, dimethyl sulfide, carbon disulfide were detected as major compounds and after 7 days several sulfur compounds, dimethyl disulfide, methyl 2-propenyl disulfide, allyl methyl sulfide, and di-2-propenyl disulfide bacame the major volatiles. After vacuum-drying, the kimchi powder lost 11 compounds but still retained 13 volatiles of which major compounds were dimethyl sulfide, acetaldehyde and methanethiol. In order to keep volatiles in kimchi powder along with the drying process, 0.25-1.0% cyclodextrin was added in kimchi and dried-kimchi was prepared by using vacuum dryer. Cyclodextrin acted as an encapsulation agent for aroma compounds and it resulted in less loss of volatiles during drying process. Addition of cyclodextrin will permit industry-scale production of dried-kimchi powder with less loss of aroma compounds.

  • Korea's facility horticulture has developed remarkably in a short period of time. However, in order to secure international competitiveness in response to unfavorable surrounding conditions such as high operating costs and market opening, it is necessary to diagnose the problems of facility horticulture and prepare countermeasures through analysis. The purpose of this study was to analyze the case of leading farmers by introducing information and communication technology (ICT) in hydroponic cultivation agriculture and horticulture, and to examine how agricultural technology utilizing smart farm and big data of facility horticulture contribute to farm productivity. Crop growth information gathering and analysis solutions were developed to analyze the productivity change factors calculated from hydroponics tomato farms and strawberry farms. The results of this study are as follows. The application range of the leaf temperature was verified to be variously utilized such as house ventilation in the facility, opening and closing of the insulation curtain, and determination of the initial watering point and the ending time point. Second, it is necessary to utilize water content information of crop growth. It was confirmed that the crop growth rate information can confirm whether the present state of crops is nutrition or reproduction, and can control the water content artificially according to photosynthesis ability. Third, utilize EC and pH information of crops. Depending on the crop, EC values should be different according to climatic conditions. It was confirmed that the current state of the crops can be confirmed by comparing EC and pH, which are measured from the supplied EC, pH and draining. Based on the results of this study, it can be confirmed that the productivity of smart farm can be affected by how to use the information of measurement growth.

  • Recently, our interests are growing up the local food with global food's internationalization. Our interest about local food is increasing with agricultural crises and food safety. And this research will study how the local food cultural experience effect to local food's customer satisfaction and customer royalty. This study analyze customer who experienced the local food cultural experience. And we follow Pine & Gilmore's theory. They proposed the experience economic theory, which proposed 5 factors to analyze customer. Those are educational experience, emotional experience, entertaining experience, escaping experience, and physical experience. We select two factors, which are entertaining experience and physical experience. And we will study the customer satisfaction and royalty of the perceived customer by the two experienced factors. Especially, we analyze the local food policy, cultural factors related with local food, and customer's perceived value effect, and then, we will figure out the correlations among factors, propose the policy implications related with local food cultural experience and economic value creations of rural economy.

  • This study derived the success factors of youth enterprises by applying the Delphi Method to start-up experts. Through this, it aims to improve understanding of youth enterprises in entrepreneurship education and start-up support projects and contribute to the development of education and support programs suitable for youth enterprises. Also The purpose of this study is to help youth entrepreneurs solve their curiosity about the success factors of youth enterprises, identify the factors that youth entrepreneurs should first secure or perform among the factors they need to consider during start-ups, and use limited resources efficiently and effectively to succeed. In this study, the Delphi Survey was conducted twice in total. The first Delphi Survey utilized the Modified Delphi Method using structured closed-ended questions, and a pilot test was conducted on youth entrepreneurs and start-up experts to compensate for the problem of the Modified Delphi Method. In the first Delphi Survey, IBM SPSS Statistics 22 and Microsoft Office Excel 2016 were used to calculate the mean, standard deviation, median, interquartile range, and content validity ratio. In the Delphi 2nd survey, the same statistical values in the 1st survey and additionally cronbach's alpha were calculated. As a result of the Delphi Survey, four factors, such as the entrepreneurial characteristics, entrepreneurial preparation, entrepreneurial strategy, and entrepreneurial environment, and 22 sub-factors were derived as success factors for youth enterprises.

  • This paper begins with investigation of the race to unlock human DNA, and investigates the emergent areas of bio-technological innovations. This paper draws upon basic ideas from the research traditions of the diffusion of innovations in the competitive situations. To achieve the succesful diffusion of bio-technological innovations, following issues are suggested; clusters, alliances competence, core competence, consumer resistance, chasm phenomena, qualitative research, social network, and cross-culture. The better understanding of the diffusion of bio-tech innovations with empirical studies can complement research on the diffusion of bio-technological innovations and help in the development of a universal model for diffusion of high technological innovations.

The Relationship between Entrepreneurship, Strategic Orientation, and Socio-Economic Values: Focusing on Companies Certified as Sixth Industrialization Enterprises (기업가정신, 전략적지향성과 경제적·사회적 가치 간 관계연구: 6차산업화 인증기업을 중심으로)

  • The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries prepared the sixth industrialization certification system to increase the added value in the agricultural sector, but it is a bit hard to judge that the system has been in the stage of creating sufficient added value. In particular, because of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, there is a significant change in all industry sectors, including innovation in technology, and the change of perception among the society members is being rapidly changed toward the corporate sector's social role. Thus, we surveyed companies that received the sixth industrialization enterprise certificate to address this phenomenon and find clues on how to be competitive. We selected 800 companies certified by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries as sixth industrialization enterprises as our study samples. Among them, we subjected 275 respondents to a final analysis upon eliminating incomplete responses. The result of the study revealed that entrepreneurship, including autonomy that reflects the characteristics of the certified companies, had a significant positive impact on economic value. Moreover, with the size of the companies certified as the sixth industrialization enterprise and the industry trend toward the innovative Fourth Industrial Revolution considered, the strategic orientation including the customer orientation to intensively focus on customer needs and the technology orientation to accept technology as a competitive sector even in the agricultural industry was found to have a significant positive effect on economic value. Strategic orientation demonstrated a significant positive effect on social value. Entrepreneurship demonstrated a significant positive effect on economic values but did not significantly affect the social value. Lastly, while strategic orientation has demonstrated that no mediation effect resulted due to a high direct effect between entrepreneurship and economic value, a complete mediation effect occurred between entrepreneurship and social value. Based on this study, if the companies that received the sixth industrialization enterprise certificate are equipped with not only entrepreneurship but also strategic orientation for customer-oriented thinking and response to technological changes, they can become an influential element in creating not only economic value but also social value, which is emphasized as an element of sustainability.
