While Jeju Free International City was promoted to overcome the economic crisis and build a new national competitiveness in the era of globalization, its development vision as 'the hub city of Northeast Asian economy in the $21^{st}$ century' has not been realized. This paper argues that Jeju Free International City to aim for the 'ideal free market model', 'neoliberal space of exception', and 'a new testing ground for neoliberal deregulation policies' has failed due to worsening of socioeconomic and environmental contradictions, growing conflicts in local community, and the logic of equity enforced by the central government. To support this claim, this article reviews the theoretical discussions of special economic zones, examines the shifts in the development visions of Jeju Free International City, and analyzes how Jeju has become a space of exception with the introduction of various exceptional policies and spatial mechanisms.

In school mathematics, polygon and polyhedron are defined by vague terms such as "surrounded" or "formed" Moreover, the inclusion of boundary and interior in the definition of polygon and polyhedron is varied according to the context. Polygon and polyhedron are considered as "context-dependent concept" in school mathematics. Elementary school mathematics introduces a surface only in the context of solid, yet secondary school mathematics explains a surface as the trace of the line movement. From the perspective of fallabilism, it is possible and desirable to lead students to revise and improve their conceptions on polygon, polyhedron, and surface. It is more appropriate to name a face, an edge, and a vertex rather than to express a face of polyhedron, an edge of polyhedron, and a vertex of polyhedron in textbooks. The term "surface as a polygon" in secondary mathematics textbooks shows a conflict between intuitive approach in elementary school and logical approach in secondary school.

The development of recent Mathematical Logic is mostly originated in Hilbert's Proof Theory. The purpose of the plan so called Hilbert's Program lies in the formalization of mathematics by formal axiomatic method, rescuing classical mathematics by means of verifying completeness and consistency of the formal system and solidifying the foundations of mathematics. In 1931, the completeness encounters crisis by the existence of undecidable proposition through the 1st Theorem of G?del, and the establishment of consistency faces a risk of invalidation by the 2nd Theorem. However, relative of partial realization of Hilbert's Program still exists as a fruitful research program. We have tried to bring into relief through Curry-Howard Correspondence the fact that Hilbert's program serves as source of power for the growth of mathematical constructivism today. That proof in natural deduction is in truth equivalent to computer program has allowed the formalization of mathematics to be seen in new light. In other words, Hilbert's program conforms best to the concept of algorithm, the central idea in computer science.

This study explains a turning to being cultured and geography management to get closer to popularization and specialization of geography, for which based on the assumption that they are for development of knowledge. It adopts the idea of human's geographical nature to solve the dualism which geography is referred as science and art. An object geographer studies is homogeneous, temporal as well as identifical and individual. To adopt human's geographical nature causes to human's geographical investigation, and uniting positivism to humanism. It deduces from the Bible and Evolutionism that it is characteristic of mobility, adaptabilty, connectivity, ideality, and hybridity. Geographical concepts is based on the fact that it can be applied to geographical research theme. Popularization of geography has to relate to being cultural, and specialization of geography has to relate to geography management.

This study examined the politics of representation about North Korean female defectors in general programming channels. In that channel's programs, the women are established as soften private people who got a lift in capitalism aggressively and as disparate subject that have value to be consumed by mass audience. They are caricatured with the testimony and internal competition, be emphasized that heterogeneous object. General programming channels use the women as easy and cheap substitutes for foreigners, also objectifies them to complies with the patriarchal authority. General programming channels are continuously producing a story to deal with North Korean female defectors in disparate subject. In this way, they owns the time and qualification to talk to the women as objects to be displayed, to ensure the media power. Ultimately, the female defectors is only a consumption subject that being sensuously staring, so they remain 'other' instead of 'us'.

The purpose of this paper is to reflect on the basic conception and attitude of Aristotelian philosophy by observing the transmission of his writings. The attempt to understand Aristotelian philosophy as a consistent, uniform, and unique system seems to be a natural expectation in the face of the scientific position of this philosophy. But if one looks at the history of the transmission and the edition of his works, this expectation does not correctly understand the Aristotelian philosophy, but misunderstands it. From this problem-consciousness I examine the structural features of Aristotelian philosophy by drawing attention to the work of Andronicus of Rhodes, who was the first editor of the Corpus Aristotelicum around the 1st century BC. This study is related to the historical understanding of the transmission of the Aristotelian writings, and to the classical-philological view of the transmission of writings, and also to the broad and profound understanding of the whole philosophy of Aristotle. Finally, I conclude that it is best to understand the Aristotelian philosophy in the pluralistic perspective as Aristotle himself did.

The initial purpose of Affirmative Action(AA) in the U. S. was to increase access to, and ensure the equitable distribution of, opportunities for racial minority groups in order to redress past discrimination. Over the last several decades, support for AA has grown and waned as structural, political and social currents have shifted. Most recently, AA in university admissions policy was once again tested as The University of Texas at Austin successfully defended its use of AA in admissions and now faces Supreme Court review concerning the lawsuit. Fisher v. University of Texas at Austin. The purpose of this study is to illustrate the evolution of AA in university admissions reflected on major legal cases for and against it. AA is analyzed from the integrative approach based on the historical institutionalism. l.e., influenced by structure, political dynamics, institutions and critical actors.

This paper aims to analyse the historical-cultural sources of Azerbaijani national identity through the aspects of the Persian, the Turkish and the Russian influences, and to illuminate its complex characteristics. Then it will be examined the impact and consequences that the Azerbaijani identity exerted on its foreign policy. In the modern world, identities are formed and represented within a variety of shifting social, political, economic, cultural, and discursive contexts. Such understandings can have exclusionary consequences, particularly in pluralistic environments. Since its independence, the PFA government resorted to the arguments of ethnic origin and Azerbaijan's Turkishness to achieve its goals. Domestically, the failure of the ethnicity-based foreign policy was so great that even Azerbaijani Kurds, who under the Soviets had been virtually absorbed into the Azeri population, felt alienated and betrayed. Internationally, Azerbaijan turned Russia and Iran against itself and reduced bargaining power of Turkey since the latter grew increasingly concerned not to exacerbate its relations with Russia.

This paper examines whether the budget making process has improved since the Automatic Submission of Budget Bills to Plenary Session Act was enacted. The budget bill was passed before the Dec. 2 deadline from 2014 to 2016. Several researchers, therefore, concluded that the clause is in favor of the ruling party and the majority party. However, this study confirmed that the argument is valid only under the condition of unified government. In other cases, the government party can have a limited impact on the budget-review process, and the aspects of the budget screening process are similar to those before the Act was enforced. Under the conditions of the divided government and two-party system, it is difficult that the budget bill is passed by the legal deadline. In the case of the divided government and multi-party system without majority party, the third party exerts a very significant influence on the budget-review process.

The purpose of this study is to survey fundamental limitations and problems of sports event hosting from the critical point of view and to set future-oriented perspective. The reason and legitimacy for hosting sports event have come from pragmatism based on ideological logic behind politics. Thus, the flow of advanced studies was mostly limited to the category of efficiency. However, there is fundamental limitation in sports even hosting in terms of its financial expectation and efficiency. Critical approach will contribute to minimizing side effects caused from blind acceptance through awakening dispassionate and realistic judgment. In addition, rational selection of sports even hosting can be achieved through interconnection of sports culturism's directivity as an advanced sense of sports culture, integrated perspective that penetrates problems of growth and distribution and local governance as apolitical philosophy, and of course, through concentration of energy.
