흄의 원리와 '내용의 분할'

  • Hume's principle says that the number of Fs is the same as the number of Gs iff there are just as many Fs as Gs. Frege seems to suggest at Grundlagen $\S64$ that (i) the content of the two sentences are the same, (ii) the left hand side sentence is a result of 'carving up the content' of the right hand side in a new way, (iii) 'the true order of things' are from the right to left rather than the other way round. We examine here if there is a room for arguing these three theses altogether within Frege's philosophy, and give a positive answer to it.

  • Fuzzy logic is introduced by Zadeh in 1965. It has been continuously developed by many mathematicians and knowledge engineers all over the world. A lot of papers concerning with the history of mathematics and the mathematical education related with fuzzy logic, but there is no paper concerning with Zadeh. In this article, we investigate his life and papers about fuzzy logic. We also compare two-valued logic, three-valued logic, fuzzy logic, intuisionistic logic and intuitionistic fuzzy sets. Finally we discuss about the expression of intuitionistic fuzzy sets.

Effect of search algorithm execution time analysis education on logical thinking of elementary school student (파이썬을 활용한 탐색 알고리즘 수행시간 분석이 초등학생의 논리성에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a Python search algorithm educational program based on execution time to improve the logical thinking of elementary school students. This educational program was developed based on the process of ADDIE model, utilizing the results of pre-demand analysis conducted for 133students in elementary school in ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$. In order to verify the effectiveness of the developed education program, 25 students who participated in the education donation program at ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ University conducted 42 hours of classes during 6 days. The GALT test was used to analyze the educational effects of the pre- and post-test. The results of the analysis show that the SW education program developed in this study can positively affect the logic of elementary school students.

  • Kant and Lacan strongly criticized the epistemological premise of formal logic. However, Lacan was opposed to Kant in terms of subject, object, knowledge and truth. From the viewpoint of Kant's transcendental logic, formal logic does not have the ability to represent the nature of truth. On the other hand, from the viewpoint of Lacan's psychoanalytic logic, Kant's transcendental logic misunderstands or only partially represents the state of things. But I would like to try to criticize the epistemological premise of the two forms of logic. Transcendental logic takes the evident and new function in that it has studied the necessary condition of content rather than the form of thinking which formal logic considers as his object of study. Transcendental logic evidently studies the categories which dominate our way of thinking. Can we say that the 12 categories which Kant provided are sufficient in explaining the necessity of thinking? Lacan's psychoanalytic logics tells us that Kant's categories are only a kind of metaphor related with hypothesis that tries to explain the possibility of synthetical judge a priori. Is Lacan's psychoanalytic logic sufficient in explaining the possibility of science? It is not sufficient in explaining the objectivity and strictness of science, for it depends on metaphor and metonymy which are useful to literature and unconsciousness. I would like to try to synthesize Kant's transcendental and Lacan's psychoanalytic logic in terms of structure-constructivism which combines both formal and dialectical logic, which is consistent with the ideal of human science, and not blinkered science. My conclusion is that Kant's ethical and esthetical theory should be modified though Lacan's psychoanalytic logic, and Lacan's theory of the unconsciousness revised by Kant's transcendental logic.

진리함수와 의미론적 확장 - 진리치 함수, 진리연산 그리고 의미론적 확장 -

  • 이글의 기본적인 목적은 2치를 포함한 다치 논리 체계들간의 관계를 검토하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 여기서는 명제를 대상으로 한 형식 의미 해석체계들 간에 고러해야 할 의미론적 확장 개념을 분명히 하였다. 구체적으로 다음의 두 작업이 수행되었다 첫째로 2치와 다치 논리 또는 다치 논리들간에 적용될 만한 의미론적 확장 개념을 의미해석의 바탕을 이루는 진리치 함수와 진리연산에 맞게 정의하였다. 둘째로 정의의 적합성을 확장, 비확장 사례 증명을 통해 예증해 보였다.

An Axiomatic Extension of the Uninorm Logic Revisited (유니놈 논리의 확장을 재고함)

  • In this paper, we show that the standard completeness for the extension of UL with compensation-free reinforcement (cfr) $(({\phi}&{\psi}){\rightarrow}({\phi}{\wedge}{\psi})){\vee}(({\phi}{\vee}{\psi}){\rightarrow}({\phi}&{\psi}))$ can be established. More exactly, first, the compensation-freely reinforced uninorm logic $UL_{cfr}$ (the UL with (cfr)) is introduced. The algebraic structures of $UL_{cfr}$ are then defined, and its algebraic completeness is established. Next, standard completeness (i.e. completeness on [0, 1]) is established for $UL_{cfr}$ by using the method introduced in Yang (2009).

A study on improving the effectiveness of a boolean retrieval system with feedback information (피드백 정보를 이용한 불논리 검색 시스템의 성능 증진에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to develop a useful relevance feedback retrieval technique that can be applied to the current Boolean retrieval system. A feedback retrieval technique based on user model is recommended here to achieve this objective. To prove the usefulness of this feedback retrieval technique, two enhanced Boolean retrieval models including DNF model and P-norm model were evaluated first through retrieval effectiveness experiments. After selecting DNF model as the retrieval model, two feedback retrieval experiments were performed using initial and extended user models. It is proved that the feedback retrieval based on user model can greatly enhance the effectiveness of a Boolean retrieval system with a small modification.

Operational Definition of Components of Logical Thinking in Problem-solving Process on Informatics Subject (정보 교과의 문제해결과정에서 논리적 사고력 구성요소에 대한 조작적 정의)

  • Previous researches on the improvement of logical thinking in Informatics subject have used general logical thinking test and only limited improvement of logical thinking by programming learning result. In this study, the operational definition of the logical thinking in problem-solving process on Informatics education is different from the general logical thinking and the logical thinking of the other subjects. Firstly, we suggested the operational definition of components of logical thinking using the open questionnaire by expert and research team discussion. Also, we suggested the relationship between the operational definition and contents of the 'problem-solving methods and procedure' section in secondary Informatics subject. Finally, this study developed the evaluation contents based on the operational definition of components of logical thinking. The components of logical thinking which was required in problem-solving process on Informatics subject were ordering reasoning, propositional logic, controlling variables, combinatorial logic, proportional reasoning. We suggested the relationship between operational definition and problem-solving process and assessment of logical thinking in problem-solving process on Informatics subject. This paper will give meaningful insight to supply the guideline of the teaching strategy and evaluation methods for improving the logical thinking in Informatics education.

Logical Structure Analysis of Topic-specific Web Documents (특정 주제 웹문서의 논리적 구조 분석)

  • 본 논문에서는 웹 문서를 XML 문서로 변환하기 위한 논리적 구조분석 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 비주얼 그룹화, 요소 식별, 그리고 논리적 그룹화의 세 단계로 구성된다. 특히 정교한 수준의 논리적 구조분석을 지원하기 위하여 특정 주제에 속하는 문서 유형의 논리적 계층 구조를 효과적으로 기술할 수 있는 문서 모델을 정의한다. 제안된 방법은 비주얼 그룹화를 통해서 추출된 시각적 계층구조와 문서 유형에 대한 논리적 구조 정보를 기술한 문서 모델에 기반하기 때문에 보다 정교한 수준의 구조 분석을 지원한다. 제안된 방법의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 웹으로부터 추출한 다수의 HTML 문서를 대상으로 실험한 결과, 기존 연구라 비교하여 논리적 구조분석을 성공적으로 수행하였다. 제안된 방법은 논리적 구조분석의 최종 결과로서 XML 문서를 생성하기 때문에 문서의 재 사용성을 높인다.
