  • Internal cities such as gray level been enclosed to building forest are paying a lot of efforts and expenses to change to green city that park and street tree get put together. By the example, 'GREEN CITY of PUSAN 21' progress to decorate army facilities like the park, and to plant street trees in several places of city plan in Pusan. And urban environment that big cities of advanced nation are agreeable is making in the large park and road street trees at several places in downtown. Because price of tree for the park is very expensive, tree management system was all-important. In this paper, Motes deliver the sensor information in each tree through radio sensor network by server side. This information can use in state grasping of tree, harmful insects courtesy call etc and this system design was suggested to inform to mode of life administration scholars.

  • 최근 서울, 부산, 울산 등에서 도시 돌발홍수가 빈번히 발생하고 있고 이에 따른 인명 손실 및 재산 피해가 빠르게 증가하고 있다. 그러나 집중 호우의 대부분은 저고도 대기에서 생성 및 발달되며, 소멸까지의 시간은 2-3 시간에 불과하여 기존의 우리나라 수문기상 관측시스템은 이러한 유형의 강우량 예측에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있는 실정이다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 기상, 재난 관련 정부 기관들이 저고도 수문기상 관측을 위한 도시형 X-밴드 레이더 네트워크 구축을 계획하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 그보다 선행하여 돌발성 수문기상 재해연구를 위해 한국건설기술연구원에서 도입한 X-band 이중 편파 레이더 시스템을 이용하여 보다 간단하고 정확한 재난 감시 및 예경보 시스템을 개발하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 X-밴드 레이더 데이터로부터 추정된 정량적 강수량을 모니터링 하여 도시 지역의 돌발홍수를 자동으로 경고하는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 Google 어스 플랫폼을 사용하여 정확한 3D QPE-GIS 매칭 기법을 개발함으로써, 심각한 수문기상 현상이 발생하는 정확한 위치를 추적하고 직관적인 경보서비스를 가능케 한다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 경보시스템은 레이더 데이터 분석도구, 위험결정 도구 및 위험경고 표시 도구의 세 가지 기술로 구성된다. 제안된 돌발홍수 경보시스템은, 시뮬레이션을 통해 X-밴드 레이더 데이터로부터 정량적 강수량이 계산되며, GIS 상에서 레이더 반사도 및 강우강도가 3차원 이미지 형태로 표시된다. 그런 다음 Google 어스에서 3D 큐브 블록으로 대표되는 강수량이 동시에 누적표출 되도록 설계되었다. 또한 분석된 X-밴드 레이더 데이터로부터 지역별 누적 강수량을 업데이트 및 모니터링하고 기 설정된 돌발홍수 발생 한계치(trigger)에 도달하면 홍수경보 메시지를 표시한다. 향후, 제안된 경보시스템에 대한 기술적 도구를 개선하면서 대규모 수문기상 레이더 네트워크로 광범위한 강우를 모니터링하면 전국적인 돌발홍수 경보시스템으로 확대가 가능하다.

  • This study analyzes the main road network for road users to manage roads efficiently and derives problematic road sections to be improved. Traditional road management has been operated by manager-oriented view and a diversified road management system based on congestion. Therefore, in this research, the mail road Network was selected from the viewpoint of passenger-oriented, logistics-oriented and tourism-oriented, and the problematic road sections were derived through Level Of Service (LOS) analysis, safety analysis using EPDO accident rate, and network service analysis. This study emphasizes the efficient user-oriented road construction and management system and the need of constructing a mail road network, and it suggests the improvement strategies.

  • Key factors affecting the mode share of Soul metro are investigated. The log-regression model, which can describe the elasticity of the factors with ease, is established rather than the conventional mode choice model is used. The log-regression model requires lower level of data availability for calibration and identifies the impact of the factors on mode share straightforwardly. As a result, it is found that the main reasons why the current mode share of railway is low are due to several problems such as winding lines, inconvenient transfers and unnecessary bypasses. The calibrated model is adopted to evaluate the network reshuffling alternatives. The network reshuffling is to rearrange the existing inefficient railway lines that have frequent transfers and many winding segments. The proposed network reshuffling, which includes straightening winding lines and changing grade separated transfers into cross-platform transfers, turned out to be a good measure to tackle the problems.

  • The rapid urban expansion and the increase in natural disasters due to the increase of population after industrialization and climate change are causing numerous urban management problems. The IP based hyper-connectivity caused by the initiation of the 4th industrial revolution enables a variety of technologies and services that produce vast amounts of data and solve urban management problems based on this. Especially, the quality of life is improved by providing the necessary information for life that are produced through a sensor network on wired and wireless communication.   • 컴퓨터 네트워크는 컴퓨터와 컴퓨터를 이어주는 단순 기능에서 벗어나 "네트워크가 곧 컴퓨터이다"라는 명제가 등장할 만큼 정보 기술 발전의 핵심으로 부각되고 있다. 따라서, 새로운 정보 통신망이나 컴퓨터의 연구 개발은 네트워크 기능의 고속화, 고성능화, 지능화에 중점을 두고 있다. 과거의 컴퓨터 통신은 단순한 터미널과 과학 계산용 서버를 연결하고 데이터 전송을 하는 목적에 국한되었으나 현재는 취급하는 정보가 다양해지고 수많은 사용자들이 개인용 컴퓨터를 갖게 되고 정보 통신망이 대규모로 확산됨에 따라 멀티미디어 데이터의 전송, 교환, 생성, 가공, 축적, 변환, 수집으로 기능이 확대되었다. 또한, 컴퓨터 그래픽 기술이 발달하므로서 네트워크를 통한 그래픽 전송 특히 3D그래픽 전송을 통한 서비스에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이에따라 개발된 VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language)에 대한 소개와 이를 이용한 관광 가이드 서비스개발에 대한 과정 및 3D모델링, 응용 분야에 대하여 알아 보고 가상현실 기반 가이드 서비스에 대한 기초 연구를 통해 발생된 문제점과 도출해 낼수 있는 결과 및 앞으로의 개선 방향에 대하여 알아보기로 한다. 알아보기로 한다.

Grid-based Similar Trajectory Search for Moving Objects on Road Network (공간 네트워크에서 이동 객체를 위한 그리드 기반 유사 궤적 검색)

  • With the spread of mobile devices and advances in communication techknowledges, the needs of application which uses the movement patterns of moving objects in history trajectory data of moving objects gets Increasing. Especially, to design public transportation route or road network of the new city, we can use the similar patterns in the trajectories of moving objects that move on the spatial network such as road and railway. In this paper, we propose a spatio-temporal similar trajectory search algorithm for moving objects on road network. For this, we define a spatio-temporal similarity measure based on the real road network distance and propose a grid-based index structure for similar trajectory search. Finally, we analyze the performance of the proposed similar trajectory search algorithm in order to show its efficiency.

Developing Cognition and Preference Contours of a City Image - A Case Study of Seongnam City - (도시이미지 인지와 선호등위선 개발 - 성남시를 대상으로 -)

  • Areas with negative images in cities can degrade the image of the city as a whole and slow the city's efforts to improve its image. The identification of such areas and the development of a city contour that charts the images of various areas in advance can help urban planners establish relevant strategies to ameliorate detrimental images of the city. This study intends to draw a contour of Seongnam City according to citizen's cognition levels of and preference for city area images and aim to shift the strategy of urban image planning from being results-oriented to being process-oriented. The results of this study are as follows: First, an analysis of the level of cognition of and preferences for Seongnam City's landmarks shows that the degree of cognition varies in different areas, whereas that of preferences remains similar; Second, the cognition and preference contour makes it easy to assess and diagnose city images; Third, the image management map, which merges the cognition contour with the preference contour, divides the city into four different areas. In order to manage city images, it follows that those areas with a high degree of cognition but low preference need to be classified and dealt with first. Further, this study shows that those areas with high cognition are the most populated and visited. Areas with high preference can become a strong candidate for being a landscape control point of a city, which adds to the usefulness of this study. The contour of Seongnam will contribute to networking sightseeing areas for visitors centered upon those places of high preference. It would appear that this type of networking will inspire a better image for the city.

  • This study focuses on the collaboration among public libraries and communities through 'One Book, One City' reading campaign. This study introduced the meaning and trend of 'One Book, One City' program on the world. And this study also suggests the ideas for the collaboration among public libraries and communities making use of this reading campaign; activation of reading campaign, building library network, establishing partnership model between private and public sectors.

Creative Economy and Region: Three Sources of Creative City (창조경제와 지역: 창조도시의 세가지 원천)

  • Political and academic concerns on creative economy have been increased, despite of the debates on its concepts and socioeconomic implications. This article is an exploratory study about the mechanisms and the sources in which creative economy works. Due to ICT revolution and expansion of individual's networking competency, collective knowledge created by networking and city/region in which the collective knowledge has been embedded became the parts and parcels of creative economy. Three sources of creative city is as follows: regional peculiarity and locality from industrial clustering, intensity of urban networks(openness), and value orientations in regional problem solving.
