Local self-governing bodies have created community identity to activate local communities. community identity is one of the very effective ways to establish a different image from other self-governing bodies and to raise locals' love of hometown and sense of belonging. In addition to community identity., there are several things to form identity such as symbols (like flowers, birds, and animals) of local self-governing bodies or characters visualizing figures, tradition, and specialties of the region. Recently local governments have introduced various programs such as brand planning like city brand, and local events. This study analyses the basic elements, like symbol mark, logotype, and color, among visual elements of the current local self-governing bodies community identity. and conducts a comparative analysis of the visual elements of symbols and characters. The results show that those community identities and other design elements lack differentiation and consistency among visual elements. To create differentiated image of local self-governing bodies, it needs to develop unique and various themes of the region and to generate synergy effect through consistency and interactions among various visual effects based on community identity.

The goal of this study is to propose an efficient model for recognizing and classifying tree images to measure the accuracy that can be applied to smart devices during class. From the 2009 revised textbook to the 2015 revised textbook, the learning objective to the fourth-grade science textbook of elementary schools was added to the plant recognition utilizing smart devices. In this study, we compared the recognition rates of trees before and after retraining using a pre-trained inception V3 model, which is the support of the Google Inception V3. In terms of tree recognition, it can distinguish several features, including shapes, bark, leaves, flowers, and fruits that may lead to the recognition rate. Furthermore, if all the leaves of trees may fall during winter, it may challenge to identify the type of tree, as only the bark of the tree will remain some leaves. Therefore, the effective tree classification model is presented through the combination of the images by tree type and the method of combining the model for the accuracy of each tree type. I hope that this model will apply to smart devices used in educational settings.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data of dress design by researching three-dimensional decorative techniques representing flowers, a popular motif in dress design. This study analyzed 44 dresses that were presented in Valentino collection. The result of this study is as follows: First, the detailing expression method can show various patterns and colors through embroidery technique, sub-materials, and bonding techniques in embroidery, beads flower, and ribbon flowers. Second, the fabric flower technique expressed flower image in three-dimension in more various images than do either the ribbon or beads flower technique. Fabric flowers are mostly made from the same material as dresses. The expression technique of fabric flower is classified into the following three classifications: 1) A technique underlying a flower image with one, two and three large flowers, 2) a technique decorating a large area with a number of an identical motif, and 3) a technique highlighting a part of the body or design line by attracting eyes to one point, creating a corsage decorated where a designer wants to emphasize. Third, a silhouette technique realizes a flower image with a silhouette of a dress like sculpted structure and it is thus used less than a detailing expression technique. A flower image is expressed by making use of body lines or emphasizing the face. Finally, flower images on a dress were realized as a full blossomed flower, through visually streamlined shapes and curved lines.

The purpose of this study was to research the efficient tool of the exclusive fabric simulation in Jacquard Textile CAD system. For performing this design study, it designed the surface design of the abstract images of flowers through EAT Designscope CAD system and simulated the interior fabric. To merchandise the fashion items and see the visual image, these fabric simulations was effected by two or three-dimension modeling through EAT designscope, YongWoo CNI, Alias and so on. The result of this study can be summarized as follows. Before the step of weaving the samples from the surface design works, jacquard fabric design can be done very efficiently to apply the design step of the fabric simulation in CAD(Computer Aided Design). As the usage of the simulation tool in CAD system, jacquard design can be easily feed-back to modify for the right fabrics and produced the various designs in the short running time very efficiently. Therefore, this jacquard design system ultimately can be saved cost and developed the higher value-added goods in more response to consumer demands.

The study aimed at trying to contribute to domestic floral designers by analyzing colors' images of 60 floral designs of British floral designers, Shane Connolly and Paula Pryke, as the basis for color scheme of floral space design. The result of color analysis, Shane Connolly uses colors in the frequency of color order of the GY>Y>RP>YR>P>P>PB and Paula Pryke uses colors in the frequency of color order of the GY>RP>P>YR,Y>G>PB. The result of coordinate analysis of hue, value, chrome, Shane Connolly's works showed high frequency in the YtoGY color, the middle and high of value and the middle and high of chrome. Paula Pryke's works showed high frequency in the GY color and PtoRP color, the wide areas of the 3.8 ~9 stages of value, and the middle and high of chrome. The result of adjective image scale, Shane Connolly's works were found to be in between soft and static adjective zone, and Paula Pryke's works were distributed in between soft and active zone.

Twenty-first century will be in the era of culture and art as postmodernims progresses, therefore, geography which is is traditionally concerned with regional study needs to deeply study the culture of region. Regional symbols are clue to identify regional culture which is environments of symbolic space. Especially the study of urban culture come to the needs of times with occurring global city, urban symbols make clear urban culture and urban identity. The aim of this paper is to analyze urban symbols, that is urban songs, urban birds, urban trees, urban flowers to study urban culture in korean cities, urban symbols make clear urban spatial environment which is natural and human, and then, urban symbols make clear urban identity. The analytical results of lyrics of urban songs in the 76 cities of korea include names of mountain, river, sea and place, the names of mountain and river make clear urban identies which is natural and human characteristics, it is environment of symbolic space which brings unity, one body. Especially it is environment of symbolic space which comprise fung-soo(風水) aspects, place names well represent symbolic space. The analytical results of symbolic things, that is urban birds, urban trees, urban flowers in the 78 cities of korea indicate they are gain and gain established, they are also our environments of symbolic space which is curtual settlings of our life, but they are imported not native species but foreign species which have not environment of symbolic space. The results of this paper implicate urban symols should review. because urban symbols fit to our natural and human environments of symbolic space.

This kind of goal orientation in Art Nouveau has provided nature-friendly designs to modern people living in a post-industrial society. For these people who want to have their own style in a natural and comfortable space and take a break from daily hectic daily routines for a moment, hair-by-night styles were created by adding the images of Greek goddesses to the nature-friendly features of Art Nouveau patterns known as 'flower pattern', 'wave pattern', and 'vine pattern'. In terms of the scope of this paper, four designs (Eos, Hestia, Artemis and Demeter) were created by using Art Nouveau patterns which are connected with flowers in an organic manner based on Rene Lalique and Emile Galle patterns.

Regional tourism is an effective means of revitalizing the local economy and improving the image of the region. In order to revitalize this, efforts should be made to create regionally specialized tourism products and to preserve the unique culture and traditions. Among them, gathering information about visitors and securing the quality competitiveness of the contents of tourism contents are very important to increase the potential of cultural tourism festival. This paper collects, refines, and processes the festival-related data in a specific area in order to enhance the visitor's tourism needs and satisfaction. In particular, negative words and positive words raised during the festival were analyzed through big data visualization using word cloud.

자원식물을 소재로 이용하는 생물산업은 21세기 경제성장을 주도할 핵심기간산업이며, 미래형 고부가가치산업이다. 현재 지구상에는 약 55만종의 식물이 존재하는 것으로 알려져 있으나, 인간의 손길이 닿지 않은 천연 강우림 등의 미개척지가 상당수 존재하고 있어 더욱 많은 종들이 존재할 것으로 추정된다. 자원식물들 중에는 작물로의 개발이 가능하거나, 개발할 필요성이 높은 식물들이 많이 있다. 자원식물들은 예로부터 식용, 약용, 관상용, 유지용, 기호용, 밀원용, 섬유용, 향신료용, 향료용, 당료용, 호료용, 염색용, 수지용, 탄닌용 등으로 구분되어 이용되어 왔다. 자원식물은 종에 따라 꽃, 줄기, 잎, 뿌리 및 종자 등 부위별로 다양하게 산업적 소재로 활용되어 왔다. 최근에는 건강에 관한 관심이 급증하면서 다양한 건강 기능성 상품이 개발되고 있으며, 관련 시장이 급속하게 성장하고 있다. 특히 자원식물 등 천연물을 소재로 한 건강 기능성 상품은 안전성이 보장되며 우수한 생리활성이 있는 것으로 밝혀지면서, 자원식물을 소재로 한 건강 기능성 상품의 개발에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 다양한 자원식물을 대상으로 이들의 활용가치를 분석하여 상품화할 수 있는 방법의 개발이 절실히 필요하다. 또한 주 5일제 실시 및 여가활용에 관한 관심이 급증하면서 농촌 경관산업에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있다. 농촌 경관산업은 국민의 여가선용 및 복지향상에 효과적일 뿐 아니라 지역주민과 관광객이 함께 즐길 수 있는 관광산업으로써 지역 이미지 강화를 통한 지역 홍보, 지역 내 일자리 창출 및 경관산업에 사용된 생물소재를 이용한 바이오산업의 활성화 등의 장점을 지니고 있다. 또한 농촌 경관산업은 자연과 농촌을 활용한 자연 친화형 관광단지를 조성하여 친환경, 고부가가치형 종합산업을 추구하는 추세이다. 그러므로 경관산업 및 이를 활용한 바이오산업의 소재로써 자원식물의 역할은 매우 클 것으로 생각된다. 특히 각 지역에 자생하는 고유의 자원식물을 활용하면 지역 특화 경관산업 및 바이오산업의 발전에 크게 이바지 할 수 있으며, 이로 인하여 지역 경제 활성화 및 친환경 건강 기능성 상품에 대한 수요를 충족시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 따라서 친환경 건강 기능성 소재 개발과 농촌 경관산업을 활용한 생물산업에 적용할 수 있는 산업적 가치가 우수한 자원식물의 다양한 기능을 분석하고, 각 자원식물별로 특성에 맞는 개발 방안을 구축하여 다양한 산업화의 소재로 활용하여야 할 것으로 생각된다.

As a society gets digitalized, world of simulation will expand. The world of simulation is a forced, human-making world where we are going on our lives. It is power that dominates human beings. It is a main discourse producing forces. We are using violence to ourselves to escape this forcing phenomenon. Cindy Sherman is being paid attention as an artist who expresses physical human being in the world of simulation - human who desires something, is sacrificed by violence and is using violence to himself. She is casting a question about the violence of power in the world - who are you right now in the border between the real world and the fake one? - Her method is by various symbols: masks and makeup in her works, human desires and violent realities in symbolic packages. Only when we see the world as flesh, that is a specific body, not as separated organs, can this world be something we can feel. This world is something simulacre and at the same time is bearing violence in it. She sacrifices herself to violence to avoid the very violence. This behavior is to refine or avoid gigantic violence. She is saying that the others' pains, birth and death of flowers are not only theirs but also ours.
