  • 온도에 따른 건조속도의 변화는 온도가 높을수록 건조속도가 급가속화되고, 온도가 낮을수록 완만한 형태를 보임을 알 수 있었다. kW가 증가할수록 항률건조 시간이 줄어들고, 한계함수율에 도달하는 시간이 짧아지는 경향을 나타냈다.

  • Conventional 2D GIS has many difficulties to visualize and analyze three dimensional real world. To improve those problems and implement realistic spatial analysis, Interest in 3D GIS is increasing remarkably. Currently, Some local governments are carrying out pilot projects for 3D GIS, Government also is setting up the master plan and the road map for national information construction. In this study, introducing 3D GIS to urban planning, we evaluated limits of conventional regulation and proposed effective and reasonable means lot restricting location of merrymaking place in local government.

Sample size estimation using nomogram in dental research (치의학 연구에서 노모그램을 이용한 표본수 계산)

  • The appropriate sample size calculation in dental research is important to achieve the study purpose at the first step in study design. However, it cannot be easy to calculate sample size using standard formulas, because the several factors must be considered for calculation. This study introduced the graphic method for sample size calculation, which is called nomogram. The purpose of this study is to show the effectiveness of the nomogram using examples, expecting the researchers can easily use nomogram for sample size determination.

Statistical methods for accessing agreement between repeated measurements in dental research (치의학 연구에서 반복 계측한 자료의 일치도 평가방법)

  • The comparison of the repeated measurements is often needed to see whether they agree sufficiently, when a measurement is repeated under identical conditions by different raters. Such investigations are often analyzed inappropriately, by using correlation coefficient. The purpose of this study is to introduce statistical methods for accessing the agreement of the repeated measurements, which include Bland-Altman plot, intra class correlation, Passing-Bablok regression and Cohen's kappa coefficient, and to show how to execute them using examples.

  • The effect of sintering condition on tribological behavior in the Cu-base sintered friction materials was studied through pin-on-disk type wear tester. Especially, the experiment was focused on making a comparative study between presstwed sintering and pressureless sintering. Pressureless sintering process showes more stable friction coefficient and lower wear rate than pressure sintering process. This result is related to pore size and density of pore in the sintered materials.

  • This paper presents WMR modelling and path tracking algorithm using Inertial Navigation System. The error models of gyroscope and accelerometers in INS are derived by Gauss-Newton method which is nonlinear regression model. Then, to test availability of error model, we pursue the fitness diagnosis about probability characteristic for real data and estimated data. Performance of inertial sensor with error model and Kalman filter is pursued by comparing with one without them. The computer simulation shows that position error remarkably decrease when error compensation is applied.

  • 전력수가 증가할수록 수분감소율과 부피감소율은 또한 급격한 형태로 감소하였으며, 2kW일때는 완만한 형태를 나타냈다. 또한 온도의 변화에 있어서도 예열기간은 온도가 증가함을 알 수 있으나, 항률건조단계부터는 온도의 변화가 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다.

  • In clinical dental research, errors occur in spite of careful study design and conduct. Data cleaning procedures intend to identify and correct these errors or at least to minimize their influence on study. Outlier is the one of these errors. Outlier detection is the first step in data analysis process which has a serious effect in the field of dental research. Hence, this paper aims to introduce the methods to detect the outliers and to examine their influences in statistical data analysis.
