  • The purpose of this study is to propose a new design principles and to analyze the pattern of art and architecture applying fractal concepts. As this study is based on fractal geometry as a natural science, 1 intented to explain the concepts and provide some methods of generating fractal properties. Two major aspects are discussed. Frist, fractals are geometric shapes that are self-similar, in other words, they iterate a basic shape at ever increasing a decreasing dimensions. Self-similarity, irregularity, and scaling are fundamental characteristics of fractal geometry. Second, the fractal concepts of art and design can be analyzed and used as a critical tool. In both criticism and design, fractals provides a tool In fine, fractal geometry can be provided endless possibilities for artists and designers intended in expressing the more complex underlying rhythms and organic patterns of nature.

A Study on the Analysis of the Trend of installations Using 3D Printing Technique (3D프린팅 조형설치물 경향분석에 관한 연구)

  • The aim of this study was to derive a new trend by analyzing installations using 3D printing that are out of the limits of size and design according to the trends of developing 3D printing technology. This paper classified the types of installations using 3D printing and analyzed them with two trends: the trend of design and the trend of output. The trends of installations using 3D printing derived from this study are as follows. First, as the implementation of design through an algorithm is accomplished, the transformation appears with the atypical design that is prominent in complex expression. Second, Robotics and FDM 3D Printing is fused, which is changing the existing paradigm. Therefore, the production and utilization of installations using 3D printing proceeded at a faster pace through the interaction between the algorithm design method and freeform 3D printing technology. This study was conducted on installations using 3D printing around the world and played a basic role in the research on the production of installations using 3D printing along with domestic 3D printing technology to be developed in the future. Follow-up studies in various aspects, such as materials and combination methods, will be needed.

The relationship between information recognition efficiency and formative attributes of infographics (정보 인식의 효율성과 인포그래픽의 시각적 조형성의 관계)

  • This study focused on shape attributes in a basic study that identified infographics expression diversification and delivery efficiency based on formative attributes. To achieve that goal, formative attributes were categorized as geometric or expressional type, and significant differences between them were found by identifying the attributes of each type. The study analyzed the correlations between each infographic type's formative attributes and content delivery. The results found that regularity, clarity, visibility, and content delivery were attributes of the geometric type, whereas expressionality, visibility, clarity, and content delivery were attributes of the expressional type. Further analysis of the attributes focusing on content delivery found that regularity and visibility significantly influenced content delivery for the geometric type, and expressionality and clarity significantly influenced content delivery for the expressional type. Thus, this study empirically confirmed that formative attributes of infographics distinguished between expression types with statistically significant differences during the visualization process. And that specific factors influencing content delivery were formative attributes.

Study on the Characteristics of Modern Jewelry Using Constructivist Elements (구성주의 요소를 활용한 현대 장신구 특성 연구)

  • This thesis examined the characteristics of constructivism that brought about expanded expression of modern jewelry, and also organized how the constructivism was utilized for jewelry. The objective of this study is to examine the attempts of new materials based on constructivism and various expression styles, and also to understand the concept of constructivism developed into an element of complex formative expression. For this, this study organized the characteristics of constructivism that was initially expanded from Bau Haus in the aspect of expression through the composition of material and space, and also analyzed the jewelry artists' methods and attempts to express various materials. As a result, the constructivism showed the expansion of the formativeness of jewelry in the formative aspect of steric expression and in-depth concept through the composition of architectural pattern, visualization of space, and use of other materials, which becomes an example of basic formative element of modern jewelry design. However, it is limited to the material formative element of constructivism, so the expansion of design would be needed. Thus, there should be more researches on the expansion of various jewelry designs that could express the philosophy of constructivism.

연구장비 네트워크 분석을 통한 융합R&D 정책 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 4차 산업혁명에서 가장 중요하게 대두될 수 있는 융합R&D정책에 대해 소셜 네트워크 분석을 통해 새로운 대안을 제시하려고 한다. 연구장비, 연구성과의 자료들을 활용하여 연구장비 네트워크 분석을 실시하여 융합R&D의 특성 및 구조분석을 실시하며, 연구장비 공동활용 및 다학제 협력연구를 통해 창출될 수 있는 새로운 융합R&D정책에 대한 접근을 시도하려고 한다. 나아가, 연구개발과 사업화 사이에서 더욱 중요한 역할을 할 수 있는 분석과학기술에 대한 정책적 플랫폼 구축관점 대한 시사점을 찾아내려고 한다. 이를 위해 계량적 접근과 비계량적 접근을 동시에 활용하여 연구주제에 대한 타당성을 확보할 것이며, 앞으로 미래산업 및 유망기술에 대한 전략적 선별에 있어 일부 근거를 제시해줄 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 우리나라 기초과학 및 기초과학인프라에 대한 발전적 정책방안과 융합연구 및 융합연구의 사업화에 대한 정책적 관점을 제시하도록 한다. 분석자료는 한국기초과학지원연구원(KBSI) 현황자료를 중심으로 살펴보며, 분석방법은 소셜네트워크분석(SNA:Socail Network Analysis)을 활용한다.

  • 본 연구에서 다루고자 하는 마스크 디자인은 개인의 감정과 사고를 적극적으로 표현하기에 적합한 예술 영역에 해당한다. 따라서 마스크에 디자인된 조형미를 살펴보기 위해 디자인 된 마스크의 유형을 분류하고자 한다. 자유주제로 완성된 마스크디자인 작품을 그룹핑 하였으며, 최종적으로 데카탕스(Decadence), 판타지(Fantasy), 인사이트(Insight), 러블리(Lovely), 키치(Kitsch), 하이퍼 테크노(Hyper Techno)의 6가지 유형으로 도출하게 되었다. 이와 같은 유형 연구는 창의적인 마스크 디자인에 대한 정체성을 파악하는 데에도 매우 중요한 역할을 할 것이며, 관련 연구의 기초적인 토대를 마련하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다.

  • Metal tableware of korea had been used from former days along with own to rice bowl exclusive use, this metal tableware has our country characteristic identity from the country that do rice to chief food to unique thing. This by recent publication we individual and peculiar ours create may. Hab, Yonyu, Omok, Okbalri of modeling of our country metal rice bowl are 4 kinds greatly. First is that is all lid in our country's metal rice bowl by 3 greatly to cultural meaning that is filled in modeling. Second, it is that there is man and woman old and the young official business while divide man and woman old and the young in our country's metal rice bowl, third, that size changes by other rice bowl according as age increases point. And item that cause definite effect in figurative feature of metal rice bowl is [ Existence and nonexistence of hoof ], [ Oral narration department's shape ], [ Reverence of oral narration belonging / Ratio of Body's height ], and [ Reverence of oral narration belonging / Ratio about Body maximum ] of it 4 be. This research finds identity of our country's design and it is basic research about that is wished to graft together in several Land of Supreme Happiness illuminating in several angles with our country characteristic metal rice bowl.

과학기술단체간 소통에 관한 연구: 한국과학기술단체총연합회와 연구회를 중심으로

  • 우리나라의 과학기술정책방향이 기존의 '모방형' 혁신체제의 구축에서 '창조형' 혁신체제의 구축 및 운용으로 전환하게 되면서 연구개발의 목표 자체가 창조적 연구의 결과물로 바뀌었다. 이에 따라, 과학기술 전문가들의 주도로 국가연구개발 투자의 방향과 내용을 기초연구 및 협력연구 중심으로 정립할 필요가 있는데, 특히 기초연구 및 창의적 연구는 개별적인 연구도 중요하지만 과학기술지식의 공유 및 협력적인 연구가 대단히 중요하게 요구되어진다고 보여진다. 최근 과학기술의 빠른 환경변화에 적응해야 하며, 그 발전과 성과에 있어서 개방형 혁신(open innovation)을 통한 돌파구를 찾아야 하는 과학기술계도 더욱 이러한 협력이 중요하게 여겨지고 있다. 본 연구는 연구회, 과총 및 과학기술유관단체 간 소통의 네트워크 구축을 통하여 과학기술 유관단체들의 전문성 향상에 공헌하는 것을 목표로 하며, 이를 통하여 우리나라의 과학기술단체들이 국내외의 과학기술 주요 이슈에 대한 공동의제를 발굴, 연구하게 하여 중장기적으로 연구회 및 과총 그리고 과학기술 유관단체의 사회적 기여도를 제고하는 것으로 목표로 한다.
