A Study on the Verification of Computational Thinking Effectiveness of Understanding-Oriented SW Basic Education Program (이해중심 SW기초교육 프로그램의 컴퓨팅사고 효과성 검증 연구)

  • In order to cultivate talented people who have problem solving ability due to computational thinking according to the trend of the fourth industrial revolution, each university is actively promoting software education. This study suggests that understanding-oriented SW curriculum is needed for non-majors students to improve computational thinking. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, this study designed the basic education program based on the understanding of the SW with the backward design model. The SW Basic Education Program was applied to 15 weeks of instruction and conducted three surveys. The positive effects of the understanding-oriented SW basic education on the computational thinking efficacy and the computer perception were verified. In addition, it was found that the understanding-oriented computational thinking and programming education are effective when they are linked to one process. It is expected that understanding-based SW based education, which uses the backward design model, can be applied as one of the efficient ways to improve computational thinking in the education field.

A Case Study on application of Action Learning in Basic Nursing Science: by Contents Analysis of the Reflection Journals (기초간호과학 수업에서 액션러닝 적용 사례연구 : 성찰일지 내용분석 중심으로)

  • The aim of this study is to explore the educational experience of nursing students after designing an action learning class suitable for basic nursing science class and applying it. A total 100 freshmen nursing students taking a basic nursing science class of K university in S city participated in this study. Data was collected from May 2019 to June 2020. The action learning class consisted of 5-6 people per team, a total of 9 teams, reflection diaries were collected and analyzed using the qualitative content analysis method of Krippendorff (2004). The analysis produced 45 significant statements in total, 8 themes and 4 categries for the experience of basic nursing science class based on action learning. The 4 categories were 'confidence in anatomy', 'growing teamwork', 'learned how to study', 'difficulties in the process'. The action learning applied class was found to be effective in problem-solving ability, teamwork, and self-directed learning. Therefore, it is proposed to evaluate the effect of action learning in other nursing subjects as well.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to present a basic study on the development of a self-generation infrastructure for monitoring the health of harbour structures. Method: By developing a self-generation system and fiber optic sensors for seawater, the study provides basic research data on port structure health monitoring. Result: Through sunlight simulation analysis, 4-5 hours of sunlight can be secure in the domestic environment. Through this, the optical splitter (Introgate) that collects the raw data from the FBG sensor applicable to seawater, the MCU that calculates it, the IoT module with wireless communication functionality, the monitoring server and the supply system are set up. Conclusion: Monitoring port structures directly with fiber optic probes (FBG) and the possibility of using selfpowered systems were confirmed.

Case Study for Construction Cost Saving by means of Economic Pile Design Procedure (말뚝기초의 경제적인 설계절차에 의한 건설비용 절감 사례 연구)

  • In this study, the economic pile design procedure using the proof test results was proposed. In order to improve the inappropriate pile design routine, the proof test for 6 pile cases were performed and the construction saving effect were analyzed. The saving rate of construction cost with the small diameter piles and the large diameter drilled shafts were 34 - 47 and 0 - 55 %, respectively.

  • Abstract We can use R package as a statistical package on the statistical education for college students. R is an interactive mode package and graphical presentation tools are powerful in R. The greatest advantage is that R is a general public license package. We need to consider R package as a standard statistical package on the statistical education for college students. We can consider the applications of R for inferential statistics in elementary statistics course.

Effect of Underground Cavity on Bearing Capacity of Strip Footing (지하공동 위에 설치된 기초의 지지력)

  • 본 논문에서는 지하공동 위에 설치된 띠 기초의 지지력에 대하여 upper bound theory를 이용하여 연구하였다. 기초 크기, 공동의 크기 및 위치, 그리고 지반의 물성치의 영향에 관하여 고찰하였으며 10개의 파괴 형상에 대하여 분석을 수행하였다. 각각의 파괴형상은 지반의 물성치 및 기하학적인 형상에 관한 함수로 표현되어 컴퓨터 해석을 통한 최소화를 시행하였다. 최소화를 위한 프로그램은 Boland C++ Builder를 이용하여 작성한 후 PC에서 수행되었다. 10개의 파괴형상 중 최소의 기초 지지력을 작성된 컴퓨터 프로그램을 통하여 구하였고 이를 해당 기초의 극한 지지력으로 추정되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 종합 정리하여 지하공동 위에 위치한 띠 기조의 극한 지지력을 구할 수 있는 간단한 식을 제시하였다.

Analysis on the SW Education Teaching Efficacy of Elementary School Teachers Participating SW Education Basic Training (SW교육 기초 연수를 수강하는 초등학교 교사의 SW교육 교수효능감 분석)

  • 본 연구는 SW교육 기초연수를 수강하는 SW교육 초급교사의 SW교육 교수효능감을 측정하고, 그 현황을 파악하여 이를 바탕으로 수강자의 SW교육 교수효능감을 신장시킬 수 있는 연수를 기획 및 수행하는 기초자료를 마련하고자 수행되었다. 연구 결과 SW교육 기초연수에 참가한 교사의 SW교육 교수효능감 중에서 교사 자신의 교수능력에 대한 개인적 판단인 개인효능 영역에서 연령, SW교육 경험에 따라 큰 차이가 존재함을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 SW교육 기초연수에서 5년 미만의 저경력 또는 20년 이상의 고경력 교사와 SW교육 경험이 전혀 없는 교사의 개인효능을 향상할 수 있는 방법을 고민하고 이를 연수에 반영할 필요가 있다는 시사점을 도출하였다.

Analysis of the Computer Proficiency of the College Freshmen (대학 신입생의 컴퓨터 기초소양 비교 분석)

  • 제7차 컴퓨터 교육과정에 대한 많은 논란과 개선방안이 제기되어 왔지만 경험한 교육과정을 대상으로 성취수준에 대한 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 2005년도에 대학 신입생을 대상으로 실행했던 컴퓨터 소양 교육과정을 개선하기 위하여 2005년도와 2006년도의 신입생을 대상으로 연차별로 컴퓨터 소양과 활용수준 그리고 양 집단간의 수준 차이를 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 2005년도에 개발된 설문지 사용하여 각 학기가 시작되는 시점에서 학생들의 응답을 분석하였다. 설문자료를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 두 집단 모두 다섯가지의 영역에서 영역간의 수준의 차이가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 컴퓨터통신, 기초기능 그리고 정보윤리 보통 이상의 수준을 보였으며, 반면에 기초지식과 소프트웨어 활용 영역에서 보통 이하의 수준으로 나타났다. 두 집단간의 연차별 수준 차이는 거의 없는 것으로 보였다. 컴퓨터통신과 정보윤리 영역에서 미미하나마 2005년도에 비하여 평균이 약간 증가하였으며, 나머지 세 개의 소프트웨어 활용과 기초지식 및 기초기능 영역에서는 각각의 평균이 0.05 이하의 차이를 보이고 있다. 대학 신입생의 컴퓨터 소양교육을 위한 두 집단간의 연차별 선수 지식의 수준차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how academic achievement in college math courses differ depending on when the course takes place. As a result, based on years of data analyses on students' academic achievement, it was affirmed that achievement levels differ due to environmental factors despite the diverse efforts of instructors and students. By further analyzing the causes of these differences, this study suggests solutions for improving the different academic achievement levels.

An Analysis on the Effects of Basic Computational Skills Using G-Learning Contents (기초셈하기 G-러닝 콘텐츠의 효과성 분석)

  • This study was to analyze the effects of basic computational abilities using G-learning contents, which was developed for mathematically slow learners. The participant students were 146 mathematically slow learners in grade 3-6 in Seoul. The researchers analyzed the difference between pre and post test scores to check their effectiveness. Also, teachers and parents as well as students responded survey items to check dispositions and satisfactions towards the program. The research results showed that the application of the G-learning contents on basic computation areas was effective to develop students' basic computational skills. In addition, students also showed that they were satisfied studying basic computations with the G-learning contents. They had increased beliefs about and decreased difficulties in mathematics. Parents and teachers also had satisfactions in using the G-learning programs in spite of some negative effects such as errors in the contents, use of computers, and concentration on the game itself. For the improvement of G-learning contents, we need to keep studying on G-learning contents with wide range of areas and long term studies.
