An Empirical study on the effects of the founder characteristics of a venture company and its enterprise growth phase for management difficulty factors (벤처기업 창업환경 및 기업성장단계가 경영애로사항에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증 연구)

  • This study analyze empirically how the characteristics of a venture business' founder and company development stage will affect on B2B transactions and business management difficulties based on "2012 Survey of Korea Venture Firms". According to this study, there are different frequencies of difficulties in B2B transactions depending on the founder's age and educational background as well as different recognitions about business management difficulties with considering the founder's age, educational background, major and other factors. It is analyzed that in educational background factor, master's degree and in major factor, humanities and social science show comparatively frequent business management difficulties. On the other hand, it is analyzed that there is not meaningful difference in the recognition about the difficulty-frequency in B2B transactions in each company growth stage. It is considered that the difficulties occur frequently in every company growth stage but, these types of difficulties are solved routinely. At the Exit phase, however, there is high recognition about business management difficulties as the transaction with the companies in this stage is avoided.

  • 디지털 기술의 발달로 세계가 정보 및 지식이 주도하는 사회로 급변하고, 지식 재산권의 발전이 급속하게 진행되면서, 각 기업 및 국가들은 그들의 경쟁력을 키우기 위해 지식재산권에 대한 중요성을 강조하고 있다. 이와 같이 지식재산권의 중요성이 강조되는 현실에서 지식재산권의 확보는 기업의 경쟁력을 좌우하는 요소라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 빅데이터 분석 도구인 R을 이용하여 빠른 시간 안에 사용자가 목적으로 하고 있는 특허검색 결과를 효율적으로 도출할 수 있는 검색어 추출에 관한 연구를 진행하였다. 이를 위해 다섯 단계의 특허 검색 프로세스를 제안하였고 프로그램으로 구현하여 검색목적에 맞는 특허의 검색에 필요한 시간을 대폭 단축시키면서 목표로 하는 특허 검색을 효율적으로 할 수 있었다.

  • 최근 우리 나라 청년실업률의 증가와 함께 기업에서는 좋은 인재를 뽑기 위하여 정형화된 자격증보다는 지원자의 경험과 역량을 보기 위한 자기소개서에 대한 중요성이 커지고 있다. 그리하여 비정형 데이터를 분석하는 대표적인 방법인 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 이용하여 취업 커뮤니티에 올라 온 합격한 삼성, 현대자동차, LG 자기소개서 데이터를 얻어내고 그 후 KONLPY 패키지를 통하여 형태소 분석을 실시한다. 합격자소서에 자주 나온 단어의 순위를 매기고 공통적으로 많이 들어간 단어와 각 대기업 별 차이가 나는 단어를 회사의 인재상과 비교해본다. 그리고 취업 준비생들에게 효율적인 방법을 통해 자기소개서를 작성하여 합격률을 높이는 방향으로 사용한다.

The Mediating Effect of Corporate Reputation between the Organizational Slack and Corporate Performance in Venture SMEs (벤처중소기업의 조직여유와 기업성과간의 관계에서 기업명성의 매개효과 연구)

  • This research is to analyze the mediating effect of corporate reputation between the organizational slack and corporate performance in venture SMEs. That is, after controlling the firm size, firm age, social capital, environmental uncertainty, we test three hypothesis. First, we test the hypothesis that organizational slack has a positive effect on corporate reputation. Second, we test the hypothesis that corporate reputation has a positive effect on corporate performance. Third, we test the positive mediating role of corporate reputation between organizational slack and corporate performance. For this research, we administered the questionnaire surveys, and got the 250 effective data(companies) of korean venture SMEs. We use SPSS 18.0, and analysis the validity, reliability, correlation and multiple regression analysis of research model. As a result, we can find the three meaningful results. First, organizational slack, especially not absorbed slack but unabsorbed slack, has positive effect on the corporate reputation. Second, corporate reputation has positive effect on corporate performance. Third, corporate reputation has mediating effect between organizational slack, especially not absorbed slack but unabsorbed slack, and corporate performance. Although this research has some limitations of generalization because of the limited size of samples, we has meaning information related to the venture companies in the academic and business field.

  • Recently, the importance of collecting, analyzing, and real-time sharing of various cybersecurity data has emerged in order to effectively respond to intelligent and advanced cyber threats. To cope with this situation, Korea is making efforts to expand its cybersecurity data sharing system, but many private companies are unable to participate in the cybersecurity data sharing system due to a lack of budget and professionals to collect cybersecurity data. In order to solve such problems, this paper analyzes the research and development trends of existing domestic and foreign cyber security data sharing systems, and based on that, propose a cybersecurity data sharing system model with a hierarchical structure that considers the size of the organization and a step-by-step security policy that can be applied to the model. In the case of applying the model proposed in this paper, it is expected that various private companies can expand their participation in cybersecurity data sharing systems and use them to prepare a response system to respond quickly to intelligent security threats.

A Study on the Influence of Innovative Structure to Corporate Entrepreneurship and Business Performance (혁신적 조직 구조 확립이 사내 기업가정신과 기업 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The 4th Industrial Revolution is rapidly changing the business environment and enterprises are required to accelerate various innovative activities for sustainable competitiveness. Recently corporate entrepreneurship is widely spread to organization for establishing innovative corporate culture and stimulating corporate ventures. However, many enterprises are not successful and productive due to lack of readiness of corporate entrepreneruship. Therefore, finding the factors influencing corporate entreprensurship, innovative activities and business performance is a very important research issues. A research model and hypothesis are developed by through literature review to analyze positive effects of corporate entrepreneurship to corporate performance and influential effects of factors such as innovation-based efforts at the organizational level, vision and organizational strategies and innovative operating system to corporate entrepreneurship and business performance. The result of Entrepreneurship Survey with Corporates conducted by Korea Entrepreneurship Foundation in 2017 is used for the research sample. Hypothesis test used 1,326 samples and the structural equation modeling is applied. The results show that corporate entrepreneurship improves innovative idea activity performance and business performance. And, establishing innovative vision and strategies and innovative organizational culture enhances corporate entrepreneurship. In addition, it was confirmed that the innovative operational system has a moderating effect that strengthens the positive influence relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and innovative idea performance. The results of this study have implications for previous research on corporate entrepreneurship in Korea by presenting the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and business performance and the multilateral relationships between innovative organizational structure and corporate entrepreneurship.

  • KT는 무궁화 3호 위성을 이용한 양방향 위성 통신 사업을 추진하고 있으며, 지상망을 이용하기 어려운 지역에 정부/공공, 에너지 산업, 기업 단일망 등 다양한 산업 분야를 대상으로 초고속 네트워크를 제공하고 있다. 양방향 위성 통신 서비스는 36,000km 상공의 위성 중계기와 지상 간의 통신 지연을 극복하기 위한 첨단 기술로 운용되고 있으며, 중요 데이터에 대한 위성 통신 품질보증 기능을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 위성망의 트래픽을 수집하고 데이터를 로깅하는 위성망 트래픽 수집 도구와 수집된 데이터를 마이닝을 통해 실시간 모니터링하고 통계 정보를 생성하는 위성망 패킷 데이터 분석 도구로 이루어진 위성망 패킷 데이터 분석 시스템에 대해 논한다. 위성망 패킷 데이터 분석 시스템은 데이터 송수신 정보를 모니터링 함으로써 실시간 위성 통신 상태를 점검하고, 전송 지연 및 실패 등의 위성 통신 오류 상태를 조기 진단하고 조치할 수 있는 위성망 품질 보증 서비스를 제공한다.

The Determinants of Firms' Standardization Activity: Evidence from the Korean Manufacturing Industry (우리나라 제조기업의 표준화활동 결정요인)

  • The paper investigates the determinants of firm's standardization activity in the Korean manufacturing industry. Standardization variables as dependent ones are standardization management at the firm level, accreditation activity, domestic standards utilization, and international standards utilization. The independent variables include innovative activities(R&D intensity and patent application), firm size, export ratio, networks, and firm's organization characteristics. We estimated the logistic regression model, using the data from 636 Korean manufacturing firms. The empirical findings are as follows. First, R&D intensity doesn't have any influence on standardization activities, except the utilization of international standards. Second, patent application has a positive effect on standardization management at the firm level and accreditation activity, respectively. Third, the inverse U-shape hypothesis relating firm size is accepted for standardization management and accreditation, respectively. Fourth, the level of chief executive officer's interest on standardization is a very important factor in determining firms' efforts to participate standardization process, regardless of types of standardization activity.

  • Big data analysis is a technique for effectively analyzing unstructured data such as the Internet, social network services, web documents generated in the mobile environment, e-mail, and social data, as well as well formed structured data in a database. The most big data analysis techniques are data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, and pattern recognition, which were used in existing statistics and computer science. Global research institutes have identified analysis of big data as the most noteworthy new technology since 2011. Therefore, companies in most industries are making efforts to create new value through the application of big data. In this study, we analyzed using the Social Matrics which a big data analysis tool of Daum communications. We analyzed public perceptions of "Artificial Intelligence" keyword, one month as of May 19, 2018. The results of the big data analysis are as follows. First, the 1st related search keyword of the keyword of the "Artificial Intelligence" has been found to be technology (4,122). This study suggests theoretical implications based on the results.

연구소기업의 기술지향성과 시장지향성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

  • 공공기술 사업화와 벤처창업 생태계 활성화를 위해 정부의 막대한 투자로 지난 2006년 부터 1,600호 이상의 연구소기업이 등록, '21년 기준 1.1조원 규모의 매출이 발생 등의 양적 성과에도 연구소기업 1개당 평균 매출액 등의 질적 성과가 지속적으로 하락하는 문제를 인식하였으며, 연구소기업 설립형태 중 가장 시장지향적인 합작투자 형태의 기업 성과가 가장 좋았다는 연구 데이터를 시작으로 질적 성과 하락의 원인을 경영자의 기술지향성과 시장지향성을 주목하게 되었다. 본 연구는 그동안 선행연구를 통해 입증되었던 기업의 기술지향성과 시장지향성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향이 연구소기업도 실제 적용되는지 실증적 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구목표를 달성하기 위해 총 1,289개의 현행 연구소기업을 연구대상으로 실증 분석하였다. 연구결과를 예측해보면 첫째, 기술지향성의 기술우수성, 기술집약도, 기술혁신성 모두 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 판단된다. 둘째, 시장지향성의 고객지향성, 경쟁지향성, 집입장벽 모두 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미칠 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구결과를 통해 기술지향성과 시장지향성 모두 연구소기업 경영성과에 직접적 영향을 미치며, 연구소기업 성장에 영향을 미치는 중요 요인임을 확인하였다. 그리고 연구소기업 기술지향성과 시장지향성 강화에 대한 연구의 필요성을 규명하고, 연구소기업 설립요건 변경, 지원사업 다각화 등 정책적 변화의 필요성을 제시하였다. 향후 연구에서는 연구소기업 기술지향성과 시장지향성을 높일 수 있는 정책 연구가 필요하고, 연구소기업 질적 성과 제고를 위한 다양한 관점에서의 연구가 지속될 필요가 있다고 판단된다.
