Impact of Information Orientation and Technology Commercialization Capability on Technical Performance: Focusing on Mediating Effect of Technology Commercialization Capacity and Moderating Effect of Technology Accumulation Capacity (정보지향성과 기술사업화능력이 기술성과에 미치는 영향: 기술사업화능력의 매개효과 및 기술축적역량의 조절효과 중심으로)

  • This study analyzed the effects of information orientation and technology commercialization ability on technological performance of corporate workers. Information Orientation consisted of information technology capability, information management ability, information behavior and value, and technology commercialization capability consisted of productization capability, production capability, and marketing capability as sub-variables, and technology accumulation capacity was used as a coordinating variable. An empirical analysis was performed on 349 online and offline questionnaires collected from corporate employees. Analysis results using SPSS v22.0 and Process macro v3.4 First, information orientation and technical performance were found to have a significant effect.In addition, information orientation had a significant effect on technology commercialization capability. The magnitude of the influence on the productive capacity and the productive capacity in the variable of competency was in the order of information technology ability, information management ability, information behavior and value, but the influence on marketing capability was different from the previous results. Information management ability and information technology ability were in order. Second, the product commercialization capability, production capability, and marketing ability of technology commercialization ability had a significant effect on technology performance independently of information orientation. Third, the information technology ability and information management ability had a significant influence on the technical performance, but the indirect effect through the commercialization ability and marketing ability in information behavior and value was significant, the indirect effect of transit was not significant. Fourth, only the interaction terms of production capacity and technology accumulation capacity were significant among the sub-variables of technology commercialization capacity, and technology accumulation capacity, commercialization capacity, and marketing ability were not significant. Therefore, the relationship between productive capacity and technological performance can be interpreted as lower in firms with high technology accumulating ability than in lower firms, subsequent studies will require the introduction of other independent variables, models through the introduction of parameters and control variables.

  • This study investigates how entrepreneurial orientation and absorptive capacity influence strategic capabilities (technology, marketing, and market-linking capabilities), as well as how strategic capabilities affect performance in Korean export venture firms. To analyze this empirically, we hypothesized the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation, absorptive capacity, strategic capabilities, and firm performance based on an existing resource-based review and empirical literatures. We collected data using questionnaires and used a partial least squares (PLS) structural equation model for hypothesis testing. The following results were obtained from the empirical analysis. First, entrepreneurial orientation has a significant positive impact on absorptive capacity. Second, entrepreneurial orientation has a significant positive effect on technology, marketing, and market-linking capabilities. Third, absorptive capacity has a significant positive influence on technology, marketing, and market-linking capabilities. Fourth, technology and marketing capabilities have a significant positive effect on firm performance. However, market-linking capabilities have no significant influence on firm performance.

Study on Extraction of Sub-element and Construction of System Model for the Technological Communication Skills (기술적 의사소통능력의 하위요소 추출과 체제모형 구축)

  • The purpose of this study was to extract of Sub-elements of technological communication skills and to construct of a system model. In order to achieve the goal of the study, it was carried out in two steps: (1)Extraction sub-elements and definitions of technological communication skills, (2)Development of a system model of technological communication skills. Obtained conclusions by the process of this research were as follows. First, sub-elements of the technological communication skills were extracted and they were images, sketches, flowcharts, drawings, prototyping, symbols tables graphs and presentations. Second, using the 'technological communication tools' based on the "collaborative activities in online and offline', technological communication skills were defined as communication skills to be raised through the process of 'Idea through the Communication', 'Realization through the Communication', 'Wrap up through the Communication'. Third, technological communication skills were described as the system, in which 'Idea through the Communication(images, sketches, flowcharts)', 'Realization through the Communication(design, prototyping)', 'Wrap up through the Communication(symbol table graph, presentation)' were collaboratively activated. Fourth, checking tool for the technological communication skills was developed, based on checking tool for the existing communication skills and system model for technological communication skills. And it was improved by the expert validity test.

  • This study aims at investigating empirical relationships among technology management capability(TMC), technology commercialization(TC), and technology acquisition strategy(TAS) in SMEs. First, this study identifies the empirical effects of TMC on TC. Second, this study also identifies whether TAS contributes to increasing the effect of TMC on TC or not. The analyses of the data showed TMC was positively related to TC. Second, when technology acquisition strategies were high, the relationships between TMC and TC were highly related.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect on R&D investment and technology commercialization capabilities on business performance of 118 Korean firms which has R&D center. In particular, this study tried to define technology commercialization and technology commercialization capabilities for the board and narrow perspective, and investigates the role of technology commercialization capabilities in linking R&D investment and business performance in terms of a financial performance as the growing rate of sales, the growing rate of operating income to sales and non-financial performance as the ratio of technology commercialization. The results of this study are as follows. First, the findings of the research indicated that there was a significant positive relationship between R&D investment and business performance as financial and non-financial. Second, the study found that board technology commercialization capability as technology strategic planning, technology process, and technology organization has the mediating effect to R&D investment on business performance as the ratio of technology commercialization. Third, the study found that narrow technology commercialization capability as manufacturing and marketing play a mediating role in terms of business performance as financial and non-financial.

  • Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development has drawn up and carried out various plans to improve the education of the information communication technology application of teachers, who are the most central forces leading the education of the information communication technology. But this current efforts of teachers have put emphasis on the skill-trained abilities. In this study, I compare the internal with the external evaluation tools about the current abilities of the information communication technology application of teachers and have developed the self-evaluation tools for this based on a good point of these tools. Through these evaluation tools, teachers will be able to integrate and evaluate the abilities of the real teaching-learning instruction and the abilities of the information communication technology application on the whole.

  • This study is based on the analysis of technology innovation performance for Inno-biz. The primary purposes of this study are to help the government formulate Inno-biz related supporting policies and improve the fitness of evaluation models for Inno-biz. In this study the definition of "the outcome of technology innovation" includes technology competitiveness changes, technology forecasting as well as the outcome of technology innovation. For this analysis, 55 independent variables were used and categorized into ability of technology innovation, ability of commercialization, and ability of technology management. The results indicate that all three variable groups have positively influenced the outcome of technology innovation. Especially ability of technology innovation is highly related to technology competitiveness and business in future. The ability of commercialization enhances technology competitiveness and predictability in major business indexes; however it doesn't influence business performance in a short-term period. The ability of technology management enables businesses to forecast technology changes, but doesn't effect short-term business outcomes.

  • 최근 이슈화되고 있는 국가직무능력표준(NCS)에서 "방송통신직종"의 직무분석과 "국가기술자격검정"의 자격시험제도에 관한 실행방안을 알아본다. 국가직무능력표준은 학벌 중심의 사회에서 능력 중심의 사회로 전환하기 위한 정부의 정책방향에 따라 표준을 구성하였고, 표준에 기반 하여 학교교육 직업훈련 및 자격제도 개편을 하고자 시행되고 있다. 방송통신직종은 대분류가 정보통신이고, 중분류가 방송기술, 소분류가 방송제작기술, 방송플랫폼기술, 방송서비스로 분류되고 있다. 방송통신 직종의 각 세 분류 내에 능력단위를 보고 "국가기술자격검정"의 연관성을 검토하였다. 결과적으로 국가직무능력표준의 직무 능력단위의 수준을 검토함으로서 국가기술자격검정의 자격등급별로 타당성을 비교하였으나 능력단위 수준 및 능력단위의 내용이 가지고 있는 다양한 직업군을 자격검정으로 맞추지 못 할 것으로 판단이 되고, 자격제도의 올바른 시행을 위해서는 세부 항목을 검토하여 세분화하거나 자격검정을 새롭게 분류하여 제도화를 하거나 정비가 필요할 것으로 판단이 된다.

Study on the Innovation Process of the Satellite Industry (인공위성 산업의 기술혁신 과정에 관한 연구)

  • This is the case study of SATREC INITIATIVE company which is the unique domestic production of commercial satellites. We examined the path and pattern for accumulation of technological capability and technology learning process. This case study show that the process of technological innovation and their influencing factors. First, the technological learning of the satellite industry follows the stage of technological acquisition, absorption, improvement and is embodied by the technological capability. Second, accumulated technological capability of the satellite industry influences the technology innovation. Third, the top management team(TMT) affects the technological learning and technological capability. Fourth, TMT has a moderating role between the technological capability and the performance of technological innovation. Finally, technological innovations in the small and venture business would be the source of technological capability and technological learning. The implications of this study are as follows. TMT has the very important role for the technological innovation and affect the technology development and the production. Also technology-based companies must gain a competitiveness advantage through technological learning and technological innovations for sustainable growth.

  • 어류의 가청주파수는 16 ∼ 5,000 Hz 범위이며 주파수 100 ∼ 1000Hz 범위에서 가장 예민한 반응을 보인다. 수중 가청음은 어군의 행동을 제어하는 방법과 바다목장에서 음향순치 기술로 많이 응용되고 있다. 수중가청음에 의한 어류의 반응을 해석하기 위해서는 물고기의 청각능력을 정확히 파악해야 한다. 어류의 청각 능력을 측정하는 방법에는 청각 문턱치, 청각 임계비, 청각 능력지수, 주파수 변별능력, 음압 강도 변별 능력, 음원 정위 능력 등이 있다(이, 2000). (중략)
