A Study on Bonding Process for Improvement of Adhesion Properties Between CFRP-Metal Dual Materials (CFRP/금속간 접합력 강화를 위한 접합공정 연구)

  • The structural adhesive have been manufactured for improvement of bonding process between CFRP and metal. The optimal condition for bonding process were investigated by evaluating the lap shear strength with amount of adhesive and curing time and the surface treatment of the CFRP. To confirm proper adhesion conditions, the fracture sections between CFRP and metal was observed using reflection microscope. Not only the improvement of the adhesion condition was important, but surface treatment on CFRP was also important. The optimal curing temperature was at $180^{\circ}C$ for 20 minutes. The improvement for adhesive property was confirmed After surface treatment on CFRP. The optimal amount of structural adhesive for bonding between CFRP and metal was $1.5{\times}10^{-3}g/mm^2$. Through the optimization of bonding process, the improvement of mechanical property over 10% is confirmed in comparison with existing adhesive.

Ohmic Characteristics of Ni/3C-SiC Interface (Ni/3C-SiC 계면의Ohmic 특성)

  • 본 연구에서는 3C-SiC의 ohmic 접합에 대하여 그 전기적 특성과 미세구조의 상관관계에 대하여 분석하였다. 표준사진식각 공정을 통하여 ohmic접합 금속으로서 Ni을 진공증착시켜 일련의 TLM패턴으로 열처리에 따르는 전류-전압 특성을 조사하였고 TEM, SEM, AES, EDS를 사용하여 Ni/SiC 계면에 대한 미세구조, 화학적 특성을 분석하였다. 열처리 온도와 시간을 통한 thermal budget이 증가함에 따라서 접촉저항이 감소되었으며 그 값은 $10^{-2}$-$10^{-4}$$\textrm{cm}^2$의 범위에 속하였다. EDS와 AES를 통하여 7$50^{\circ}C$이상의 열처리 후 silicide(NiSi$_{2}$)의 주변에 carbon층이 형성되는 것을 확인하였으며, 열처리 온도가 증가함에 따라서 island형 silicide의 크기가 조밀해지며 SiC와의 접착성이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. Ni/3C-SiC ohmic 접합의 전기적 특성은 계면에 생성되는 silicide와 carbon의 형성거동에 의하여 결정되는 것으로 믿어진다.

  • 두개의 유니모프 진동자를 이용한 새로운 형상의 마이크로 초음파 리니어 모터를 제안하였다. 유니모프 진동자는 금속판에 판상의 압전소자가 접착되어 있으며, 두개의 유니모프 진동자가 삼각형상의 진동 커플러에 의해 연결되어 스테이터를 구성한다. 스테이터는 두 가지 진동모드(대칭모드와 비 대칭모드)를 가지고 있으며, 이 두 진동모드가 축퇴되도록 설계하였다. 스테이터의 대칭모드와 비 대칭모드를 위상차 $90^{\circ}$로 여진시킴으로써 이동체의 직선(또는 회전) 운동을 발생시킬 수 있다. 시작기 모터는 놀이 0.9 mm, 폭 1 mm, 길이 7.5 mm이며, 구동전압 $100V_{op}$, 구동주파수 300 kHz로 구동되어, 모터 최대속도 0.3 m/s, 최대 추력 6 mN을 달성하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 고성능 활성탄의 악취 및 유해가스 흡착효율과 멜트브로운(M/B)부직포의 여과성능에 의한 복합적인 고기능 방진특성을 갖는 활성탄 부착 M/B 국산화 여과재를 제조개발하였다. 고성능 활성탄은 고순도의 일반활성탄에 금속염, 유기물 등을 담지시켜 활성화시킨 활성탄이고, M/B여과재의 웹(web)제조조건은 M/B 방사기에서 방사온도 250℃, 방사속도 150m/sec, 고온공기온도 250℃ 그리고 DCD(die to collector distance) 20cm가 적합함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 M/B 여과재에 활성탄 부착은 열롤러시스템에 의한 열적결합방법을 이용하여 균일한 분포의 점접착결합구조를 갖도록 하였고, 개발된 복합기능 여과재가 방진마스크용 여과재로의 이용이 가능하다는 것을 분진포집효율, 투과율, 흡기저항 등 여과재 성능기준실험 결과를 통해 확인하였다.

  • Copper based leadframe sheets were immersed in two kinds of hot alkaline solutions to form brown-oxide or blackoxide layer on the surface. The oxide-coated leadframe sheets were molded with epoxy molding compound (EMC). After post mold curing, the oxide-coated EMC-leadframe joints were machined to form sandwiched double-cantilever beam (SDCB) specimens. The SDCB specimens were used to measure the fracture toughness of the EMC/leadframe interfaces under quasi-Mode I loading conditions. After fracture toughness testing, the fracture surface were analyzed by various equipment to investigate failure path. An adhesion model was suggested to explain the failure path formation. The adhesion model is based on the strengthening mechanism of fiber-reinforced composite. The present paper deals with the introduction of the adhesion model. The explanation of the failure path with the proposed adhesion model was introduced in the companion paper.

  • Bond-Fill SB is made of powder/liquid, and the flowability can be controlled by adjusting the amount of liquid in the brush. Thanks to the strong catalyst called TBB, it has the advantage of being able to polymerize even in the presence of water and oxygen. Also, since it contains 4-META, it has the advantage of being able to adhere to metals and ceramics with appropriate surface treatment. If you fully understand these advantages, you can actively utilize them in cases where it is difficult to treat with conventional composite resin.

  • Palladium plays a pivotal role in the production of dental and medicinal devices, medicinal substances, jewellery, automobile and high-performance adhesives. Despite the frequent and fruitful use of such reactions, one major setback is the high level of palladium in the resultant compounds which can harm the human body. Among the palladium species, $PdCl_2$ is the most toxic. As a consequence it is desirable to detect the $Pd^{2+}$ cations by fluorescence spectra because it can provide an operationally simple and cost-effective detection method together with high sensitivity and selectivity. Herein, an ${\alpha}$-carbonyl substituted pyrene derivative, ${\gamma}$-oxo-1-pyrenebutyric acid (OPBA), was demonstrated to be a highly sensitive and selective fluorescent probe for $Pd^{2+}$ among the metal cations examined in aqueous solutions.

Superhydrophilic Coating on Platinum Substrate by Sulfonic Self-Assembled Monolayer (술폰산기 자가 조립 단분자막 형성을 이용한 백금 기재 표면의 초친수성 코팅)

  • Platinum (Pt) is an easily moldable, anti-corrosive and also good catalyst in a variety of chemical reactions. Platinum can be used in many fields, however, however, the low wettability of platinum substrate in many platinum-based devices has been made a problem when they contact with liquid state environment. In this study, we report a simple and effective self-assembled monolayer coating method which provides tremendously increased wettability on platinum substrate device by using Sodium 3-mercapto-1-propanesulfonic acid solution. After surface modifications, water contact angle of the surfaces displayed less than $10^{\circ}$, representing that surfaces are successfully coated to be super-hydrophilic surface by simple dip coating method.

  • Exfoliated graphite oxide (EGO) was prepared by graphite oxide in an aqueous solution of TMAOH. The hybrid graphene/Zn-Al LDH material was fabricated by the hydrothermal reduction of the solution of EGO, $Zn(NO_3)_2{\cdot}6H_2O$, $Al(NO_3)_3{\cdot}9H_2O$, urea, and trisodium citrate. That is, metal ions were absorbed on the surface of EGO, and Zn-Al LDH material was randomly dispersed on the surface of graphene along with a reduction process of EGO to graphene by hydrothermal treatment. The composition, morphology, and thermal property of the obtained graphene-based hybrid material were studied by FE-SEM, EDX, TEM, FT-IR, XRD, TGA, and DSC.

Analysis of Multi-layered Thin Film Using ATR FT-IR and pyro-GC/MS (ATR FT-IR과 pyro-GC/MS를 이용한 다층박막필름의 분석)

  • The material constitution of multi-layered thin film coated on the PET base film was analyzed using ATR FT-IR and pyro GC/MS combination. The cross section of the film was acquired by cracking the film after dipping in liquid nitrogen and was observed using optical microscope. Total thickness of the coated film was $70{\mu}m$ and three layers were observed. Since each layers were too thin to analyze directly except the surface layer, analyzable area of each layers were exposed by using a proper solvent and were investigated using ATR FT-IR and pyro GC/MS. Results shows that three layers were commonly consisted of urethane-acrylate copolymers. Also, inorganic and/or metal inclusions detected by XPS and SEM-EDAX were exhibited by nano size $SiO_2$ particles in layer(1) and aluminum flakes in layer(2).
