Nonlinear System Modeling Using Genetic Algorithm and FCM-basd Fuzzy System (유전알고리즘과 FCM 기반 퍼지 시스템을 이용한 비선형 시스템 모델링)

  • In this paper, the scheme of an efficient fuzzy rule generation and fuzzy system construction using GA(genetic algorithm) and FCM(fuzzy c-means) clustering algorithm is proposed for TSK(Takagi-Sugeno-Kang) type fuzzy system. In the structure identification, input data is transformed by PCA(Principal Component Analysis) to reduce the correlation among input data components. And then, a set fuzzy rules are generated for a given criterion by FCM clustering algorithm . In the parameter identification premise parameters are optimally searched by GA. On the other hand, the consequent parameters are estimated by RLSE(Recursive Least Square Estimate) to reduce the search space. From this one can systematically obtain the valid number of fuzzy rules which shows satisfying performance for the given problem. Finally, we applied the proposed method to the Box-Jenkins data and rice taste data modeling problems and obtained a better performance than previous works.

Adaptive Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control for Nonlinear Systems without Parameter Projection Method (파라미터 투영 기법이 필요 없는 비선형 시스템의 적응 퍼지 슬라이딩 모드 제어)

  • In this paper, we proposed an adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control for nonlinear systems without parameter projection method. By modifying the controller structure, the parameters of the estimated input gain function are guaranteed not being identically zero and it is shown that the control scheme will not cause any implementation problem even if the estimated value of input gain function is zero at any moment during on-line operations. Except for the input gain function which an approximate estimate for its lower bound is needed, the proposed control scheme does not assume a priori the exact values of the bounding parameters. Based on Lyapunov synthesis methods, the overall control system guarantees that the tracking error asymptotically converges to zero and that all signals involved in controller are uniformly bounded. This can be illustrated by the simulation results for an inverted pendulum system.

  • This paper considers the multi-objective optimization of a multi-service arrayed waveguide grating-based single-hop WDM network with the two conflicting objectives of maximizing throughput while minimizing delay. This paper presents a genetic algorithm based methodology for finding the optimal throughput-delay tradeoff curve, the so-called Pareto-optimal frontier. Genetic algorithm based methodology provides the network architecture parameters and the Medium Access Control protocol parameters that achieve the Pareto-optima in a computationally efficient manner. The numerical results obtained with this methodology provide the Pareto-optimal network planning and operation solution for a wide range of traffic scenarios. The presented methodology is applicable to other networks with a similar throughput-delay tradeoff.

  • The relational database system on fatigue strength was constructed, and the properties of fatigue life distribution were examined to analyze reliability and safety of metallic materials. Data manipulations were efficiently performed in relational fatigue strength database system using dependency diagram. Regardless of the distribution of fatigue strength, the proposed method, the Robust method and the complementary error function method using probability distribution, successfully estimated parameters of the 3-parameter Weibull distribution. The proposed criterion for estimating non-failure probability showed good results regardless of censoring time. The fatigue life distribution function described as a function of parameters of the Weibull distribution and applied stress ratio produced P-S-N characteristics reasonably.

  • Look into the nuclear power plant of Wolsong currently, it is controlled in order to required operating pressure with PI controller. PI controller has a simple structure and satisfy design requirements to gain setting. However, It is difficult to control without changing the gain from produce changes in parameters such as loss of the valves and the pipes. To solve these problems, the dynamic change of the PI controller gain, or to compensate for the PI controller output is desirable to configure the controller. The aim of this research and development in the parameter variations can be controlled to a stable controller design which is reduced an error and a vibration. Proposed PI/NN control techniques is the PI controller and the neural network controller that combines a parallel and the neural network controller part is compensated output of the controller for changes in the parameters were designed to be robust. To directly evaluate the controller performance can be difficult to test in real processes to reflect the characteristics of the process. Therefore, we develope the simulator model using the real process data and simulation results when compared with the simulated process characteristics that showed changes in the parameters. As a result the PI/NN controller error and was confirmed to reduce vibrations.

  • A control structure that makes possible the integration of a kinematic controller and a fuzzy logic (FL) deadzone compensator for mobile robots is presented. A tuning algorithm is given for the fuzzy logic parameters, so that the deadzone compensation scheme becomes adaptive, guaranteeing small tracking errors and bounded parameter estimates. Formal nonlinear stability proofs are given to show that the tracking error is small. The fuzzy logic deadzone compensator is implemented on a mobile robot to show its efficacy.

  • 이 논문은 두 개의 질량을 가진 미소 감쇄 시스템에 대해 외란 관측기 기반 추종 제어기의 강인성을 증가시키는 새로운 감쇄 주입법(damping injection)을 제시한다. '미소 감쇄'란 감쇄 계수가 다른 파라미터들과 비교해서 매우 작다는 것을 의미한다. 파라미터에 불확실성을 가진 미소 감쇄 시스템에 대한 외란 관측기의 적용은 전체 시스템을 불안정성하게 할 수 있다는 것을 관측할 수 있기에, 외란 관측기의 구조 중 공칭 (Nominal) 모델에 인위적으로 더 많은 감쇄를 추가함으로써 강인성을 강화시키는 방법을 제안한다. 또한 강인 제어 이론의 제로 익스클루젼(zero exclusion) 정리를 이용하여 감쇄 주입법의 안정성을 증명하고 시뮬레이션과 실험을 수행하였다.

  • Multilayer perceptrons(MLPs) or feed-forward neural networks are widely applied to many areas based on their function approximation capabilities. When implementing MLPs for application problems, we should determine various parameters and training methods. In this paper, we discuss the design of MLPs especially for pattern classification problems. This discussion includes how to decide the number of nodes in each layer, how to initialize the weights of MLPs, how to train MLPs among various error functions, the imbalanced data problems, and deep architecture.

  • 본 연구에서는 [1]에서 제안된 알고리즘을 마찰력이 존재하는 로봇 매니퓰레이터에 적용하여 위치제어를 수행하였다. 제안된 제어 알고리즘은 로봇의 위치 정보만을 이용하는 반복적 제어구조를 가지고 있다. 또한 제어기 설계 시, 로봇의 파라미터를 이용하지 않기 때문에 파라미터 불확실성이 있는 시스템에 강인한 특징을 보인다. 제안된 제어기의 성능을 검증하기 위하여.마찰력이 존재하는 2축 SCARA형 로봇에 적용하여 시뮬레이션 수행하였다

  • In this paper, chaotic signals of a Chua's oscillator are effectively controlled to low periodic signal(1-periodic signal, 2-periodic signal, etc) or equilibrium point using the linear state feedback technique. The proposed linear state feedback technique has characteristics, that any solution of the Chua's oscillator can be a goal of the control(fixed point, periodic orbit, etc). The controller has a very simple structure, which does not require adjusting system parameters.
