Selection of Expressway Ramp Metering Sites and Priority Making (고속도로 램프미터링 도입지점 및 우선순위 선정)

  • In spite of the proven effectiveness of ramp metering system, it has not been successfully implemented in Korean setting. The purpose of this paper is to select target locations to introduce ramp metering into the Korean expressway system. For this, domestic standards to introduce ramp metering have been presented after reviewing those of the US. The major criteria are level of service (LOS), the existence of detour route, space for queue build-up and opened ramp. 15 different locations were selected and AHP has been used to make priority among them. Intuitively, the result of priority was in accordance with the congestion and traffic volume. The core results identified in this paper is expected to be used in different cities and expressway networks elsewhere.

  • 다양한 지리 관측 기술 및 GPS 그리고 무선통신 기술의 발달로 인해, 해수의 흐름 변화 관측이나 PDA를 장착한 물류 차량 관리와 같이 시간에 따라 이동하는 여러 객체들의 변화를 추적하고 관리하는 것이 용이해지고 있다. 그리고. 이로 인해 지능형 교통 시스템. 물류 차량 관리 시스템 등이 활발히 개발되고 있다. 그러나 개발된 시스템에서 차량 운송 계획 평가 및 테스트를 할 경우 차량의 실제 데이터가 부족하기 때문에 적절한 평가 및 다양한 테스트를 하기 힘들고, 실생활에 알맞은 시스템을 만들기 어려움 점이 있다. 이렇게 부족한 차량 데이터를 보충하기 위해, 대부분의 연구에서는 몇몇의 이동 객체 위치 데이터 생성기를 활용하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 이동 객체 데이터 생성기는 단순히 정규 분포, 가우스 분포. 랜덤 데이터. 도로 정보 등을 고려하여 데이터를 생성하기 때문에. 사용자가 물류 수송 계획 등에 활용하기 위해 의도한 시나리오에 따른 데이터를 생성하지 못하고 있다. 따라서, 이 논문에서는 차량 위치 데이터 생성기에 사용자가 지정한 시나리오를 생성, 저장하는 이동 객체 패턴 제공기를 추가하여. 사용자 지정 시나리오를 지원하는 차량 위치 데이터 생성기를 설계한다 이 논문에서 설계된 차랑 위치 데이터 생성기는 사용자가 원하는 계획대로 차량의 위치 정보를 생성함으로써, 물류 수송 및 도로 건설계획 등을 검토할 때 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

  • The object of this paper is to design a school-zone safety management system based on context-aware, integrated with computing technology. When it occurs to kidnap of elementary school students, the monitoring device creates context information through a combination object extraction and context-aware technology and alarm administrator about an emergency situation. In addition, the proposed system that requires a human perspective, a railroad crossing, statistics research of traffic, and a variety of applications such as factory automation systems can be used to be the best choice.

  • 연구목적: 감염병 유행시 감염병 의심 환자의 구급활동을 위해 출동한 소방대원의 안전을 확보하고, 현장에서 수집된 정보를 바탕으로 지역별 감염병 의심환자 발생 현황을 파악하여 현장 통제 및 지원이 가능한 소방 감염병 관리 시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 연구방법: 감염병 의심 환자를 분류할 수 있는 스마트폰 앱을 개발하여 감염병 의심 여부를 확인하고, 감염병 의심 환자로부터 감염을 방지하기 위해 환자 식별용 NFC태그를 1회용 형태로 개발한다. 현장에서 입력되는 감염병 의심 응급환자 관련 데이터를 수집하고 분석할 수 있는 관리 시스템을 개발하여 해당 업무 관련자에게 제공하여 감염병 의심 응급환자의 이송을 개선하는지 평가한다. 연구결과: 실험결과 스마트폰 앱에 구현된 알고리듬을 통해 감염병 의심 여부를 판단할 수 있었으며, 적정 이송병원으로 이송함으로써 재이송 비율히 현저히 감소되었다. 결론: 본 연구를 통해 응급의료 서비스에 ICT 기술을 적용하여 응급의료 서비스를 개선할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였으며 특히 감염병 의심환자에 대한 적정병원 이송으로 이송시간 단축 및 응급환자의 소생률 향상과 함께 구급대원의 안전을 적극적으로 확보할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • In the design of bridges, exact evaluation of traffic loading is very important for the safety and maintenance of bridges. In general, traffic loading is represented by live load (including impact load) and fatigue load. For exact evaluation of traffic loading, it is important to get reliable and comprehensive truck data including the traffic and weight information. It requires the development of Bridge Weigh-In-Motion (BWIM), which measures the truck weights without stopping the traffic. Objectives of the study is (1) to develop the BWIM system, (2) to verified the system in bridges in Highways.

  • Research indicates, about 80% of maritime accidents are caused by human error. Further investigation of the human factors behind maritime casualties is essential in order to establish preventive measures. The main purpose of this study is to identify and analyze human factors behind maritime traffic-related accidents using the m-SHEL model. Since the m-SHEL model used in other fields is based on generic human factors, it has expanded in this study to accommodate ship operating systems and define human factors. In addition, the validity of the expanded model was verified by reliability analysis using SPSSWIN. A classified table for this extended m-SHEL model was then used to analyze human factors behind maritime traffic-related accidents extracted from a written verdict by the Korean Maritime Safety Tribunal. Human factors were arranged in the order L, L-E, L-H, L-m, L-L, and L-S. This paper contributes to the prevention of maritime traffic-related accidents caused by human factors by presenting useful analytical results that can be applied to build a maritime safety management system.

  • Bicycle is one of the most important eco-friendly transport mode which can cope with global warming. ICTs(information and communication technologies) on bicycles became a dominant factor for success to the spread of bicycles to public as we experienced Public Bike System. In this paper, conceptualization and classification of u-Bike services are fulfilled and its priority was examined using AHP method. Group capabilities technique of ECII, a computer fool of AHP was invited to minimize bias on appraisal. 12 u-Bike services were conceptualized. U-service with highest adoptability was 'bike and ride' service which can link bicycle to public transportation. 'Prevention system from abandonment and theft' and 'public bike system' similar to Velib system in Paris are also considered to be very important services in u-City.

  • In applications such as a traffic management system, analysis using a spatial hierarchy of a spatial data warehouse and a simple aggregation is required. Over the past few years, several studies have been made on solution using a spatial index. Many studies have focused on using extended R-tree. But, because it just provides either the current aggregation or the total aggregation, decision support of traffic policy required historical analysis can not be provided. This paper proposes hybrid index based on extended aR-tree for the spatio-temporal aggregation. The proposed method supports a spatial hierarchy and the current aggregation by the R-tree. The sorted hash table using the time structure of the extended aR-tree provides a temporal hierarchy and a historical aggregation. Therefore, the proposed method supports an efficient decision support with spatio-temporal analysis and is Possible currently traffic analysis and determination of a traffic policy with historical analysis.

  • At present, RFID system is highly welcomed as a substitute system with its bar code recognition system and self recognition equipment. Consequently, the system has multi applications and can be complementing to its security. In particular, RFID system is significantly related with electronic transaction equipments : transportation card, ID card in check point, attendance sheet. Based upon these characteristic, the system is becoming extremely popular in the field of logistics, harbor and stock management, animal control and product circulation & distribution. In this dissertation, I would like to present a more efficient and stable remote entry control system with the network-based TCP/IP. It is a simple example of ubiquitous computing function. Above all, approved protocol system should be applied to the remote entry control function. Its efficient function with the applied approval protocol based-remote entry control system should be confirmed. Therefore, a preliminary test should be prerequisite in automatic entrance function with the embedded and TCP/IP-based RFID system.
