Technology and society have undergone continued progress and improvement. Thus, constant changes are required for university education, which then directs social development. This study analyzed the current status of educational innovations in the field of building construction at domestic universities in South Korea. The major findings of this study are as follows. Lectures on educational innovations have been introduced in the field of building construction at domestic universities. Five out of 50 universities were found to offer lectures on innovation. Notable innovative teaching methods being introduced were team-based learning and flipped learning. The biggest difference between innovative and traditional teaching methods was whether to encourage students to perform self-directed learning. In this manner, there were also differences in evaluation methods, weekly lecture schedules and learning support tools. Thus it is determined that continuous research and efforts for innovation in university education are necessary to respond to the ever-present changes in society.

Company's interest in the work place training and investment has been growing continuously because the talent of human resource is the competitiveness itself in the knowledge based society. However, corporate training programs mainly have focused on large companies and SMEs despite the economic business volume have been treated too lightly so far. This paper regards corporate training programs with one of the methods for SMEs innovation and proposes the smart learning in the smart device diffusion. Concretely, this paper analyzes the utilization intention, each attribute and level in smart learning characteristics using conjoint analysis. The result shows that SMEs have positive response for smart learning acceptance and SMEs consider significantly the usage fee type and location with the difference between regular employee and administrator. Specially, interactive communication and customized contents are preferred in the training type. Smart learning can be used as strategic means in supporting the value innovation and enhancing the absorptive capacity in SMEs innovation process.

The goal of this study was to investigate the implementation and related issues of the school space innovation issued by key Korean mass media using text mining. To accomplish this goal, this study collected 519 news articles associated with the school space innovation issued by 54 Korean mass media companies. Based on this data, this study performed the frequency analysis and network analysis regarding the keywords. Based on the findings, the characteristics of school space innovation are summarized as follows: First, school space innovation has progressed in response to future education. Second, users are actively participating in school space innovation. Third, experts are supporting the innovation of school space by establishing a cooperative system. Fourth, the community is actively considering the innovation of school space. Fifth, the main projects of the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Offices of Education are actively conducted in a mix of top-down and bottom-up approaches. The findings of this study will contribute to providing a clear direction for contemporary school space innovation and implications for future research agenda and implementation.

교육인적자원부의 대학구조개혁은 향후 대학교육의 질적 고도화를 위한 기초이며 이러한 혁신을 위해서는 고등교육에 대한 충분한 재정 투자가 뒷받침 되어야 하겠다. 지속적인 경제성장을 위해서는 기술혁신과 이를 위한 인재양성이 최우선일 것이며 이런 점에서 정부는 대학에 대한 투자를 과감하게 확대해야 할 것이다.
