In this study, we investigated preservice secondary science teachers' uses of curriculum materials in curriculum design through a case study. Two preservice science teachers at a college of education in Seoul participated in this study. We interviewed them about their beliefs on teaching and learning prior to their teaching students. We then observed their teaching and collected all of the teaching/learning materials. Semi-structured interviews were also conducted before and after the instructions. Their uses of curriculum materials were systematically analyzed in the aspects of reading, evaluating and adapting curriculum materials. The analyses of the results revealed that their uses of curriculum materials had a significant difference in curriculum design. There was a difference in the way of reading curriculum materials that derived from different perspectives of curriculum reconstruction. The perspectives of curriculum reconstruction also affected the way of adapting curriculum materials. While the 'adding' was an important adaptation in curriculum design with active perspectives, the 'changing' was an important one with passive perspectives. In addition, the degrees of evaluating curriculum materials from the learners' views depended on their beliefs on teaching and learning. It was also connected to qualitative differences of adaptation in 'increasing student control over an activity' and 'increasing teacher control over an activity'. Educational implications of these findings are discussed.

Purpose: Patients and their caretakers need to understand various problems and requirements in the dying process so that they may prepare for death for the rest of their remaining life. Accordingly, a systematic audio-visual resource was developed to educate hospice patients and their families at the palliative care ward about the process of dying. Methods: For the development of an audio-visual resource, a initial education material was produced in the form of simple and accessible Power Point handouts based on literature study. Then, the program was completed through five rounds of a process, including expert advice, revision, update and evaluation. Results: The final version of the program was filmed with cooperation of the medical literature information division. Using the program, patients and families were educated through five phases over three sessions for a total 26 minutes and 34 seconds. Conclusion: The significance of this study lies in the fact that it was conducted after the establishment of the palliative care ward, which made it easier for nurses provide the education. It is expected that the program may be used by hospice specialists as well as nurses as an education resource for hospice patients and their families.

Teacher, the guide of classwork, should acquire various an new knowledge and provide them for students timely. Owing to various reasons, however, they have some difficulties in research and in prior knowledge acquisition. This study is focused on the database construction scheme of elementary education data for everyone in any school and in any place to share those data. This can be accomplished by constructing a database system of elementary education data that are scattered nationwide and by providing them through present educational network.

수학 학습 능력이 낮고 의욕이 없는 학생들에게 수학에 대한 관심과 흥미를 불러일으키고 학습의욕을 유발하는 자료를 개발하여 제시함으로서 도움을 주려고 한다. 학습자료는 시각적으로 이해를 쉽게 하고 학생 수준에 적합한, 관심을 가질 수 있는 내용을 중심으로 실질적인 효과를 기대할 수 있도록 선택한다. 이들 자료에 대한 학생들의 반응을 알아보고 단원별로 체계적으로 학습에 도움을 주는 자료 개발에 활용하려고 한다.

This study intends to develope and apply mathematical activities for gifted students. According to the Polya's research and Krutetskii's study, mathematical activities were developed and observed. The activities were aimed at discovery of Euler's theorem through exploration of soccer ball at first. After the repeated application and reflection, the aim and the main activities were changed to the exploration of soccer ball itself and about related mathematical facts. All the students actively participated in the activities, proposed questions need to be proved, disproved by counter examples during the fourth program. Also observation, conjectures, inductive arguments played a prominent role.

In the 2015 revision curriculum, software education must be conducted for 17 hours in elementary school fifth or sixth grade. Pre_service elementary teachers should be able to teach software. In this study, learning factors according to the achievement criteria for software education will be defined for pre-service elementary teachers. Pre-service teachers were taught by learning elements. As a result, the pre_service teachers were able to create teaching and evaluation materials for each learning element. It was also found that the pre-service teachers improved their ability to teach software education in elementary school based on these materials.

새로이 열리고 있는 정보화시대에 부응하기 위해 교육계에서는 컴퓨터를 교육매체를 활용한 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습방법에 대한 연구를 활발히 전개해 나가고 있다. 최근에는 인터넷을 활용하여 좀더 효과적인 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습 방법의 개선에 대해 연구하는 움직임들이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이에 중학교 수학과를 중심으로 하여 인터넷 상의 학습자료들을 검색하고 이를 먼저 홈페이지별로 분류하여 그에 따른 내용들을 분석하고, 반대로 항목별로 홈페이지를 중학교 교과서 내적인 내용과 외적인 내용들로 분류하고 그에 대한 분석을 하여 봄으로써 현재 인터넷 상의 학습자료들을 알아보아 향후 인터넷을 활용하여 중학교 수학의 교수 ${\cdot}$ 학습 방법을 개선하는 연구 및 인터넷 상에 새로운 자료를 올리는 사람들에게 도움이 되도록 하고자 한다. 또한 간단하나마 인터넷을 활용하는 수업에 대해서도 기술하여 인터넷 상의 학습자료를 활용하는 방안을 모색하여 보고자 한다.

이 연구는 사범대학 수학교육과의 교육과정 중 통계분야에 대한 사항을 논의하는 기본 자료로서 통계학 전공 교수 현황과 교육과정을 살펴보았다. 현재 수학교육과 소속의 전임교수 164명중에서 통계학 전공교수는 7명으로서 전체의 4.3%를 차지하고 있다. 또, 확률 및 통계영역에 대한 교육과정의 편성은 6.1%를 차지하고 있다. 따라서, 통계학에 대한 교수 및 교육과정 편성이 적어도 10%는 되도록 노력하여야 한다.

해양플랜트 관련 산업성장과 함께 관련 종사자의 특수 안전교육을 실시함은 매우 중요하다. 대부분 해외의 교육기관에서 시행하고 있으며 국내의 교육기관이 국제교육인증을 받음에 따라서 HSE(Health and Safety, Environment) 교육의 시행, 확대가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 국내 외의 HSE 관련교육을 조사하고 HSE 교육의 시행에 따른 국내의 교육의 제반여건을 마련하는데 기초 자료를 제공하기 위한 목적으로 수행하였다.
