A Study on Authentic Assessment Model Development in School Mathematics (학교수학에서의 참평가(authentic assessment) 모형 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop authentic assessment model of school mathematics completed an integral part of the classroom in the real situation to do authentic assessment about students's mathematics learning ablity. To do this, it is performed literature researches on authentic assessment system of school mathematics, situation cognition class design model, Lincoln & Guba's the forth generation assessment model, NAEP high ability assessment model, Guliker & Bastiaens & Kirschner's authentic assessment model. And it is extracted authentic assessment elements of school mathematics from them, and it is developed authentic assessment model completed an integral part of the classroom in the real situation. This authentic assessment model of school mathematics is confirmed the proper model in assessing mathematical activities and achievement by applying authentic assessment tasks with class's integrated part, and each factor and phase was regarded as the proper thing in the teaching and learning for experts in studies of mathematical education.

  • Though the 'Program Educational Objectives' is the first and important criterion in ABEEK's engineering education accreditation, exact meaning and implementation methods have not been understood well. It was often confused with 'Program Outcomes' and its implementation and evaluation methods do not reflected well on the concepts of "outcomes based and demand driven education". A new implementation model for 'Program Educational Objectives' has been developed using step by step application. The model explains the meaning of every step (phase), and key constituents in each phase. The specialization and CQI of the program could be satisfied by applying the model properly.

  • This study investigates the factors affecting the educational satisfaction and the transfer of learning of cyber crime prevention education students in order to confirm the effectiveness of the current education. Based on the CIPP model, we confirmed whether the level of social demand and the level of knowledge in the context evaluation, recency of subjects in the input evaluation and interaction in the process evaluation affect the educational satisfaction and the transfer of learning of the students by conducting the survey for the students. As a result of analysis, it was proved that the level of knowledge, recency of subjects and interaction had a significant relationship with the educational satisfaction and recency of subjects, interaction and educational satisfaction significantly affect transfer of learning. Based on the findings, this study provides a few constructive suggestions to improve the effectiveness of the cyber crime prevention education program.

  • 정보기술의 발달과 더불어 가상교육에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 실제 가상교육솔루션에 대한 개발 및 교육현장에서 많이 사용하고 있으나 그 선정 및 평가 방법에 대한 연구가 미비한 실정이다. 본 논문은 기 발표한 평가요인 결과를 사용하여 가상교육솔루션 평가 방법에 대하여 소개하고 있다. 기준들간의 영향관계가 있는 특성의 문제를 네트웍 모형으로 표현하는 것을 토대로 자료를 부여받고 선정하는 방법에 대한 과정을 제시하고 있다.

  • Sometimes the quantitative evaluation method does not explain students' full capacity in educational fields. In this point of view, performance assessment has been adapted widely since the assessment provides a comprehensive qualitative evaluation as well as quantitative evaluation. Portfolio is one of the most effective methods in performance assessment. However, the portfolio requires longer time in evaluation, physical space for storing data gathered from students. Electronic portfolio can overcome the above disadvantages of the traditional portfolio and increase students' ICT application capacity. The purpose of this study is to develop electronic portfolio assessment processing model and present concrete activities for each stage in the model. Our model consists of four stages, Preparation, Activity, Evaluation, and Application, respectively. Especially, our model is designed to provide different activities for students and teachers in each stage. Our model is expected to provide a good guidance to students, teachers and parents in understanding and utilizing portfolio assessment. Particularly our model will provide the comprehensive guidance to teachers in assessment process.

  • The overseas military education, which began in 1948, and the commissioned education of professional degrees, which was implemented in 1958 to obtain a degree for a professor at the Korea Military Academy, are expected to be expanded further in order to nurture talent who will lead the future and transformation of the Army in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. However, the Army's commissioned education system has been criticized for being high-cost and low-efficiency, and the systematic evaluation of the performance of commissioned education has also been insufficient. Therefore, this study examined the transition process of commissioned education by the ROK Army. The validity of the assessment area the CIPP evaluation model for the performance evaluation of commissioned education in the Army was verified through expert Delphi survey. According to the Delphi survey, the validity of the assessment area for the performance evaluation was all appropriate and various opinions on commissioned education were obtained.

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest possibility of adaptation of course-embedded assessment for program outcome in engineering education through literature review on concept, benefits, adaptation process, case study in higher education of course-embedded assessment. The model of course-embedded assessment was given with consideration for each step, that is, set up of program outcomes, check of related courses, selection of assessment tools, set up of performance criteria, implementation of course-embedded assessment, and analysis of results. Some prerequisites were given to set up course-embedded assessment successfully in engineering education field of Korea.

  • Internet accelerates the speed of Information society causing changes the method and purpose of education. The word "life-long learning" is no longer a new tenn for many of the world citizens, and they ask for a system to fulfill their need to learn. Information communication technology enables and provides technical base for such needs. Web based cyber education, especially, is known to be an important and alternative instructional method to mediate learning at a distance. At the present, however, with the breakneck pace of growth and interests on Web-based distance education, there are no guidelines provided to assure the quality. In this study, we have identified guiding principles to design and develop quality assurance model for effective distance education. This is critical, especially in Korea, since 9 distance. education institutions have been accredited to offer degree programs starting 2001 spring semester. Using this model, distance education providers and consumers can develop or select effective on-line courses.

  • Preparing for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Corona-19, our education is expanding a new chapter of learning to the era of AI education that incorporates software technology beyond software education. In this study, we will analyze the case of learner-centered assessment in software education and examine the assessment direction of artificial intelligence education through its effectiveness. Through the case of applying learner-centered assessment to non-computer subjects including computer subjects, we sought the effects on learners' learning, environmental conditions and assessment models of learner-centered evaluation, and through the case of applying the learner-centered assessment model to software education, we wanted to find out what the learner-centered assessment in artificial intelligence education suggests to the educational site. According to the analysis, the learner-centered assessment had a significant effect on the learner's achievement goal, and it is expected that the learner-centered assessment in artificial intelligence education will be carried out smoothly when an objective evaluation system and objective evaluation model are designed to help the learner's assessment, building digital environment conditions based on intelligent information technology.
