Recently, as SW education has been emphasized in college, interest in Computing Thinking (CT) class at the liberal level has increased. In order to effectively educate students, various methods of teaching and learning are required to reduce the burden on CT education and motivation of students. The purpose of this study is to design teaching and learning using ARCS model to improve learners' learning motivation and learning achievement in CT course as liberal arts education. In this study, the learning elements of CT were selected based on previous research on the characteristics of education in the liberal arts education of the university and analysis of the CT content. In addition, Keller 's ARCS learning motive model was selected to match the instructional tactics according to the motivational factors of Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction. In order to effectively teach these CT contents, detailed strategies based on the ARCS model were designed and presented weekly.

In this research, there is a purpose to develop an informatics education curriculum of the general level that the preliminary teacher at elementary school prepares for information education. First of all, in order to achieve the purpose, we compare and analyze the standard CS 2013 of the educational curriculum of elementary school teacher training university, University-Level Program cooperation deepening course, higher education course, and prepared content and level. Secondly, subjects were structured in consideration of standard J07-GE analysis of higher education curriculum and cooperation with secondary education course. Third, subject names were determined by examination by experts, taking into consideration the scope of subjects, content system composition, etc. Computer Science II, Computer Science II, Data Management in the domain to understand the basic principles of Computer Science I, Computing System, in order to approach expert opinions, analysis results, problems arising in information society from the viewpoint of computer science We proposed data management and analysis to grasp the patterns and relationships involved. In this research, not only improving ability to solve problems based on the basic capacity strengthening of teachers but also presenting subjects of general level, considering continuity star of high school information subjects it makes sense.

As media become diversified, animation fields are being expanded. Various types of animations which were not seen in the past have appeared and the fields which did not have a suffix of "animation" now use the words of animation like motion graphic-animation or interactive-animation. This thesis is a comparative analysis study of U.S. animation education. This study collected and reviewed respective curricula of total 5 universities such as Academy of Art University, California Art of Institute), Ringling College of Art and Design, Rhode Island School of Design, and School of Visual Arts which have led U.S. animation education since animation education was first introduced in 1961. Based on the result drawn from the analysis on the classification of animation curricula into a required subject, an elective subject, liberal arts, a theory subject and a practical subject, it intends to consider improvements of Korean animation curriculum.

본 연구는 교양무용교육에서 가장 중대한 과정으로 인식되고 있는 무용의 가치인식과 신체 움직임 의식변화에 초점을 두었다. 연구방법은 실제사례를 통한 연구자의 참여관찰과 참여자의 심층면담자료 검토, 자기보고서 분석을 제시하여 결과를 제시하였다. 첫째, 교양무용 수업참여를 통해 신체 움직임에 대한 인식변화가 나타났으며, 특히 내적요인으로 동기인식에서 뚜렷한 변화로 이어졌다. 둘째, 신체 움직임의 집중도가 높아질수록 자신감과 만족감에 영향을 미친다. 또한 학업에서 받는 스트레스를 해소할 수 있는 긍정적 효과를 느낀 것으로 나타났다.

A lot of colleges have made continued efforts to help freshmen adapt themselves to a new school life and environment and build a decent relationship with faculty and other students. Therefore, this study attempted to figure out the effectiveness of team teaching(team teaching by academic advisor, standard textbook-centered guidance vs. autonomous mentoring) on strategic cultural curriculum as a way to help freshmen adapt themselves to a school life. For research subjects, 31 enrolled freshmen and 5 professors from a college in Chungbuk were selected. In terms of research tools, 'Communication Competence Assessment Sheet' provided by Strategic Cultural Curriculum Development Team and a simple questionnaire on 'curriculum satisfaction, adaptation to school and intimacy' were applied. For data analysis, paired t-test, independent samples t-test and rating scale were conducted. The study results found the followings: First, according to analysis on the effects of two different types of team teaching on the goal of strategic cultural curriculum('improvement of communication competence'), significant effects were found in a standard curriculum(textbook)-centered team. Second, when adaptation to a school life(school adaptation, intimacy) perceived by the students who completed the strategic cultural curriculum according to two different types of team teaching curriculum was analyzed, significant changes were found at standard textbook-centered guidance team. Third, this study has examined other changes, satisfaction, opinions and perception(strength, weakness, opinions for improvement) on the curriculum perceived by the students(learners) and faculty regarding about team teaching curriculum. Based on these results, educational implications of this study were reviewed. And a suggestion and limits were presented.

기계공학을 비롯한 공학교육에 있어 기반구성이 없는 상태에서 1970년대에 도입된 실험대학제 도는 그 본래의 실험적이고 이상적인 취지에도 불구하고 시행에 있어서의 획일성과 제도의 통 일을 위한 경직성으로 오늘날 공과대학교육에 심각한 부작용을 가져오고 있다. 공과대학은 전 문교육의 장이 아니라 점차 교양교육의 장으로 변모되어가고 있다. 최근에 공학교육의 전문성을 대학원교육에서 찾으려는 일부견해가 있으나 엔지니어의 기본교육이 4년제 공과대학교육이며 또한 대학원교직의 특성이 연구적임을 감안할 때 우리나라의 경제수준을 고려하지 않더라도 잘 못된 견해임을 알 수 있다. 만일 현재와 같이 교양적인 기계엔지니어만을 계속 배출한다면, 기 술혁명의 와중에서 생존하려는 우리민족의 노력에 심각한 타격을 줄 것이 틀림없다. 본 학회 공 업교육부문위원회는 이와 같은 급박한 현황을 타개하기 위한 첫 시도로써 4년제 공과대학의 현 황과 교육과정을 검토하기로 한다.

In order to study on improvement of a composition of the computer education curriculum for the universities of education, we analyzed the operating situation of the computer education curriculums of the 10 universities across the country by dividing the curriculums into 3 types, such as a general education course, specialization course and advanced course. In addition, we did a survey on the information utilization abilities of the first year students of Jeonju National University of Education. The suggestions for designing effective computer education in the curriculum of the universities of education were proposed.

This paper emphasizes the effect of using poetry in the University General English education and suggests the teaching method of English education with a Frost's poem, "Out, Out- ." These days, learner-centered English education and integrative study of four linguistic functions, reading, listening, speaking and writing are considered important in the University General English class. Poetry is very effective text for the education purposes. Poetry techniques like a visual image, rhythm, rhyme, or repetition are actually mnemonics and strongly connected to the enhancement of memory and oral linguistic function. This paper suggests the specific education methods in the poetry selection, pre-reading step, reading step and after- reading step with concrete examples of "Out, Out-." These education methods through the 'oral text' can be a good and sustainable model for learner-centered education.

In this paper, we try to find improved solutions for problems with general mathematics education courses. We suggest effective management strategies and teaching-learning methods by level-based classes with utilizing students survey and scholastic level assessment, and management of Mathematics Cafe and its homepage, and also setting example classes for assignments on the Webwork system and evaluating the class.

The major aim of this study is to discuss the possibility whether the merging of Information Literacy and rhetoric will be able to have essential elements for being a general education subject in universities. The characteristic of rhetorical information literacy (RIL) is organized as follows. Situated literacy using heuristic method, process oriented literacy attaching importance to research, and literacy relevant to ubiquitous environment. So, it is argued that rhetorical information literate citizenry is essential for a modern democratic society. As the information literacy instruction program can be various, for example, technology oriented instruction is needed to be compared. For the practical execution of the RILI program, 'asking situated questions to discover problem', 'selecting and writing review of meta study books', and 'writing visiting report of library', and 'instruction of information ethics for democratic citizens' have been proposed.
