A Study on the Factors Affecting Learning Satisfaction and Continuous Use Intention of Real-Time Online Education Platform (실시간 온라인 교육 플랫폼의 학습만족도와 지속사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to help revitalize the real-time online education platform market by analyzing the instructor characteristics, content characteristics, and platform characteristics of real-time online education platforms for local learners in China. A total of 670 questionnaires were collected through an online survey and an empirical analysis was conducted. As a result of the analysis, first, except for attractiveness, which is the characteristic of the instructor, professionalism and sincerity had a significant positive influence on both learning satisfaction. Second, the usefulness, abundance, and appropriateness of content characteristics had a significant positive influence on learning satisfaction. Third, except for interaction, which is a platform characteristic, technology and convenience confirmed a significant positive influence relationship on both learning satisfaction. Fourth, learning satisfaction had a significant positive effect on the intention to continue using. This study presented practical implications for real-time online education platform and future research directions.

The Effects of Teacher Preparation Programs With Project-Based Learning for Strengthening Preservice Special Education Teachers' Practical Teaching Abilities (프로젝트 기반 학습(PBL)을 활용한 교직수업이 예비특수교사의 실천적 교수역량 강화에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of teacher preparation programs with project-based learning for strengthening preservice special education teachers' practical teaching abilities. The results of this study showed that the practical teaching ability of preservice special education teachers (n = 39) improved by a total of 6.76 points after receiving action learning-based instruction. The improvement was 1.49 points for planning and designing, 1.49 points for communication, 0.49 points for interactions with students, 2.49 points for teaching and learning environment, and 0.89 points for sincerity and enthusiasm. The results of paired t-test showed that preservice special education teachers' practical teaching ability has significantly improved on the total scale score (p < 0.01). Preservice special education teachers' improvements were also significant on three out of five subscales: planning and designing, communication, and teaching and learning environment. Correlations between the practical teaching ability subscales ranged from 0.64 to 0.90, indicating a statistically significant correlation.

  • e-Learning은 시 공간의 제약 없이 교수자와 학습자간의 교육이 이루어진다는 장점이 있는 반면, 다양한 학습자의 요구를 만족시킬 만큼 충분한 학습 콘텐츠의 제작이 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 이러한 단점을 해결하기 위해 ADL(Advanced Distributed Learning)의 SCORM(Sharable Content Object Reference Modeling)의 표준에 따라 e-Learning의 학습 콘텐츠를 학습객체(Learning Object)로 제작하고, 이를 SCORM의 표준을 지원하는 LCMS(Learning Content Management System)를 이용하여 관리하려는 연구가 진행되고 있다. LCMS를 이용할 경우 학습 콘텐츠의 제사용성을 높이므로 학습 콘텐츠의 제작 및 관리가 무척 용이해진다는 장점이 있는 반면 탈맥락화된 학습 콘텐츠를 제작하기는 매우 어렵다는 단점을 가진다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 버전관리 기법을 이용한 탈맥락화된 학습 콘텐츠에 대한 제작이 용이한 시스템을 연구했다.

Ideas of Teaching-learning Experiences Selection for Multicultural Education (다문화교육을 위한 교수-학습 경험 선정 아이디어)

  • Multiculuralism becomes the presentive term of Korea. And school is interested in multicutural education very much. The reason for this is connected to the fact of increasing intermarriages, immigrant laborers, and their children. So, the academic world is producing various research papers and public institution is proposing and practicing several policies. Particularly multicultural education is recognized as the very important intervening strategy on multicutral society and studied. The purpose of this paper is to suggest the ideas of teaching-learning experience selection for multicutural education in Korea. So the study contents of this paper are as follows ; First, it is to analyze the concepts of multicultural education and its' research trends. Second, it is to review the prior models of theorizing multicultural education and the models of curriculum development and teaching design. Finally, it is to inquiry the model of teaching-learning experience selection for multicutural education. Above all, we think that it is necessary to develop the model of multicutural teaching-learning experience selection classified by objects involved in multicutural education.

The Study on Automatic Speech Recognizer Utilizing Mobile Platform on Korean EFL Learners' Pronunciation Development (자동음성인식 기술을 이용한 모바일 기반 발음 교수법과 영어 학습자의 발음 향상에 관한 연구)

  • This study explored the effect of ASR-based pronunciation instruction, using a mobile platform, on EFL learners' pronunciation development. Particularly, this quasi-experimental study focused on whether using mobile ASR, which provides voice-to-text feedback, can enhance the perception and production of target English consonants minimal pairs (V-B, R-L, and G-Z) of Korean EFL learners. Three intact classes of 117 Korean university students were assigned to three groups: a) ASR Group: ASR-based pronunciation instruction providing textual feedback by the mobile ASR; b) Conventional Group: conventional face-to-face pronunciation instruction providing individual oral feedback by the instructor; and the c) Hybrid Group: ASR-based pronunciation instruction plus conventional pronunciation instruction. The ANCOVA results showed that the adjusted mean score for pronunciation production post-test on the Hybrid instruction group (M=82.71, SD =3.3) was significantly higher than the Conventional group (M=62.6, SD =4.05) (p<.05).

The Influence of Sense of Humor by Instructors and Learning Motivation upon Major Satisfaction Among Nursing students (간호대학생이 인지하는 교수자의 유머감각과 학습동기가 전공만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of sense of humor by instructors and learning motivation in major satisfaction in nursing students. Data were collected from 160 nursing students of D university in Gyoungsaingbuk-do using structured questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression, conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics 22. The results showed that a sense of humor by instructors and learning motivation were the factors affecting major satisfaction of nursing students. Therefore, it is necessary to have programs to develop the sense of humor of the instructors and to increase the capacity of the instructor in order to increase the satisfaction of the nursing college students. In addition, a concrete strategy to improve learning motivation of nursing college students should be established.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 온라인 학습자들의 학습효과를 높힐 수 있는 교수 학습환경을 마련하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위함이다. 본 연구에서는 온라인 학습자들의 학습성취와 학습만족에 미치는 학습자 개인요인- 건강, 가족지원 정도, 컴퓨터 능력, 취업여부, 자기조절학습능력- 에 초점을 두어 분석하였다. 본 연구는 서울사이버대학교 사회복지학부 재학생을 대상으로 수집된 총 226개 설문지를 회귀분석방법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 학습성취에는 학습자 개인의 건강, 자기조절학습능력이 유의미한 영향을 보였고, 학습만족에는 가족들의 지원 정도와 자기조절학습능력이 영향을 나타냈다.

Development of an Adaptive Instruction System Applying Gregorc's Learning Style (Gregorc 학습 스타일을 적용한 적응형 교수 시스템 개발)

  • This study developed an adaptive instruction system for individual learning. We applied Gregorc's learning style to support the adaption. This proposed Instruction system provides instruction content based on a more effective instruction method that takes into consideration the learner's individual learning style. We applied Gregorc's learning style to create a clear treatment of differing learning styles. Proposed adaptive instruction system was applied to college students studying computer learning. A t-test indicated that our proposed adaptive instruction system resulted in positive effects in an overall style comparison. In addition, our Abstract-Sequential learning style indicated the most effective results while the Abstract-Random learning style indicated no difference between the experimental and comparative groups in each style analysis for Gregorc's learning style.

  • In this paper, 1 design a mode of educational contents for Problem Based Learning(PBL) fitted education using ICT. I design a teaching and loaming schedule for PBL using ICT. I search pertinent items of educational contents to provide to student in PBL and design a mood fitted them. ,also, 1 design a pertinent mode of system to carry out a teaching and teaming schedule. Therefor, a teaching and learning schedule designed in this paper will apply easily. Because PBL manages ill-structured problem reflected the actuality and is high ratio which student participate in instruction, 1 expect that we take the effect of instruction using ICT in PBL.

A Comparative Study on Learner Satisfaction according to Instructional Mode -Case Analysis of Lecture Evaluation of the Same Course by the Same Instructor (수업 유형에 따른 학습자 만족도 비교 연구 -동일 교수자의 동일 강좌 강의평가 사례 분석)

  • This study was performed to obtain basic data in relation to instructional design and teaching strategy according to instructional modes. For the purpose of this study, participants evaluated the qualities of the instructions they attended and the results of the evaluation were compared according to 4 instructional modes(content class, online real-time class, online and face-to-face mixed class, and face-to-face class). As a result of the study, there were differences in the evaluation regarding the appropriateness of the course according to instructional modes. That is, satisfaction with lecture progress was lower in the online real-time classes than in content classes, mixed classes, and face-to-face classes. As a result of the descriptive lecture evaluation analysis, in the content class type, students answered that they were satisfied with the easily understandable and interesting explanations. In the case of the online real-time classes, it was found that they were satisfied with thorough preparation and effective communication. In the mixed class type, they said they were satisfied with the systematic class and passionate lecture, and in the face-to-face classes, the pleasure of interaction and the enthusiasm of the instructor were identified as the main reasons for satisfaction. It was analyzed that the satisfaction characteristic commonly derived from the four class types was the enthusiasm of the instructor. The results of this study are expected to provide implications for instructional design and teaching strategy establishment according to each instructional mode.
