Development Teaching-Learning Plan for 'Food and Nutrition unit' of Home Economics Based on Backward Design Model (백워드 설계 모형을 적용한 가정교과 식생활 단원의 교수·학습 과정안 개발)

  • The course of home economics education is the one that fosters the ability to solve life problems. The life problem is permanent involving the individual, family, and society in overall. Thus, this study was to compose a class which applied the backward design model suggested by Wiggins and McTighe focusing on the usability of it in the educational filed of the home science to overcome the limitation of the education in the filed based on that critical mind. Therefore, this study developed the teaching·learning plan applying the backward design model to the 'Food and Nutrition' unit of the home economics education. It is expected that the unit and the teaching plan are used as materials for the class on the dietary life unit which is meaningful for learners in the educational field of the home economics education.

  • 멀티미디어 컨텐츠는 다양한 매체적 속성으로 학습 흥미를 높일 뿐 아니라. 잠재적인 학습성취도를 중지시킬 것이라고 기대한다. 특히, 학습자들의 상호작용성이 두드러진 사이버 환경속에서 멀티미디어 매체의 기대효과는 상당히 크다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 형태의 교수-학습 매체로 등장한 웹 컨텐츠의 형태에 따른 학습자의 학습성취도를 분석하고, 학습자의 내재적 학습동기를 유발하는 요소를 고려한 새로운 학습 패러다임을 지원하는 웹 컨텐츠를 설계 및 구현한다.

  • 본 논문에서 제안하는 수학학습 시스템은 구성주의 원리에 입각하여 학습자 중심의 다양한 학습 방법을 통해 자발적이고 협동적인 학습이 가능하도록 설계하였다. 특히 XML 문서를 통해 수학과 교수학습 지도안의 표준을 지향하며 본 시스템을 통해 데이터가 공유될 수 있게 하였다. 본 시스템의 구성요소는 게임, 진단학습, Q/A, 그룹학습으로 구성되고 이들간의 상호 유기적인 관계를 구성하고 있다. 따라서, 본 시스템은 학습자가 스스로 학습할 수 있게 도와주는 다양한 학습방법에 의한 수학학습이 이루어질 수 있다.

  • Recently, as SW education has been emphasized in college, interest in Computing Thinking (CT) class at the liberal level has increased. In order to effectively educate students, various methods of teaching and learning are required to reduce the burden on CT education and motivation of students. The purpose of this study is to design teaching and learning using ARCS model to improve learners' learning motivation and learning achievement in CT course as liberal arts education. In this study, the learning elements of CT were selected based on previous research on the characteristics of education in the liberal arts education of the university and analysis of the CT content. In addition, Keller 's ARCS learning motive model was selected to match the instructional tactics according to the motivational factors of Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction. In order to effectively teach these CT contents, detailed strategies based on the ARCS model were designed and presented weekly.

Redesigning of STEAM Learning/Teaching Program for Robot (로봇 STEAM 교수학습 프로그램 제안)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze STEAM learning/teaching program that relates robots and to develop and redesign STEAM teaching/learning program with a robot for elementary and secondary schools. 'Learning with a robot' is considered as one of the best candidates for STEAM education. This article mainly concerns a robot that can be helpful to improve students' interests in learning science and mathematics in schools. As the results of the STEAM learning/teaching program analyzing, the program for elementary schools contained more contents of liberal arts and fine arts, and the program for secondary schools contained more contents of science, technology, and math. In the middle school program, context for learning, class activities of creative design and emotional touch, evaluation, and job and career information were evenly implemented. In the elementary and high school program, there were few information about robotics career. We extracted all robot utilizable subjects and units from school curriculums, and redesigned contents which can be applicable to regular classes for schools. As the result of this study, we conclude that 'learning with a robot' can encourage students' interests in STEM area.

Study on the Unsuitable Case for the Hierarchy of the Curriculum through the Analysis of the Science Teaching-Learning Lesson Plan Focused on 'Three States of Matter' Unit of the 7th Grade (과학과 교수.학습 과정안의 분석을 통한 교육 과정 위계 부적합 사례 연구 - 7학년 물질의 세 가지 상태)

  • In this study, we investigated the unsuitable cases for the hierarchy of the curriculum in science 'teaching-learning lesson plan' which is on the web site of the each city's support center for teaching and learning and Seoul Science Park with a purpose of giving helpful data for science teachers at lessons. The investigation is limited to 'Three states of matter' unit for the 7th grade and the content elements used at analysis was the "state changes of matter", "molecule" and "molecular model". The case found for unsuitable case for the hierarchy of the curriculum was phase equilibrium, ice crystal theory, peculiar property of water, classification of solid, thermal energy and physical change at the "state changes of matter". While the "molecular model" showed molecular motion and density. On the other hand, no case was found at "molecule".

  • 본 연구의 목적은 21세기 학습자가 반드시 갖추어야 할 컴퓨팅 사고력 향상을 위하여 컴퓨팅 사고력의 핵심 요소인 추상화에 집중할 수 있는 퍼즐 기반 학습을 설계하고자 한 데 있다. 이를 위하여 컴퓨팅 개념과 원리를 포함하는 퍼즐 문항을 개발하고 컴퓨팅 사고력의 문제 해결 요소 9가지를 기반으로 퍼즐 해결에 접근할 수 있는 수업을 설계하였다. 또한 교수학습을 위한 전략으로 학습자에게 성취감을 부여하는 성공의 경험, 다양한 난이도를 가진 퍼즐 문항 구성, 정답대신 해결 과정에 집중하는 교사태도를 제시하였다. 퍼즐 기반 학습은 학습자의 컴퓨팅 사고력 향상을 통해 앞으로 직면할 다양하고 복잡한 문제를 효과적이고 효율적인 해결하도록 할 것이다.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a teaching-learning program for the unit 'youth sex and peer relationship' of middle school seventh - grade technology & home economics by applying Keller's ARCS model in five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In the analysis stage, earlier studies of motivation were analyzed, and a survey was conducted to select ARCS strategies, in the design stage, in which way motivation strategies should be designed, in the development stage, a teaching-learning program for eight sessions was developed in accordance with the two practical problems. In the implementation stage, middle school seventh graders took six sessions according to the program, in the evaluation stage, the highly applicable teaching-learning program was finalized in response to the needs of the students. This study focused on revising ARCS strategies which provide in the teaching-learning programs by implementing and evaluating. Students desired for interesting instruction. It was necessary to develop new ARCS strategies can apply to Home Economics.

  • We studied educational model and contents required for information equipment, operating system, and information communication for developing KAIE computing system curriculum in elementary education. Therefore, we extracted key concepts and associated concepts and restructured the curriculum contents through analysis of national and international information education curriculum. We designed educational model that can be applied to elementary school, third and fourth graders, and fifth and sixth graders. The contents of the designed model were validated through expert verification by Delphi survey. The result of this study is expected to be applied to the development of learning strategies of various learner and teacher's teaching and learning model by combining learning contents elements of sub-area of computing system curriculum.

  • In this thesis. we present the cyber lecture system based on XML that uses the communication network as the 100Mbps LAN. The system was designed to analysis the existing cyber lecture system and its details arid to examine web system architecture and XML 3-tier model The result of the study consists of he cyber lecture system based on XML developed on 100Mbps LAN to improve method of the cyber lecture system by using ma 3-tier model arid utilisation of web interface to offer handiness of the cyber lecture system.
