The study results are as follows. First, the Attitude toward Engineering of pre-service teachers of engineering department turned out to be 2.94, which is below average(3.00), and a bit lower figure than that of Teacher Efficacy(M=3.34). Second, there was no significant difference between the Attitude toward Engineering and Teacher Efficacy in a gender factor. In case of a major factor and grade variables, there was significant difference between Attitude toward Engineering and teaching efficacy of Teacher Efficacy. Third, as a result of analysis on the correlation between Attitude toward Engineering and Teacher Efficacy, it turned out that there was significant difference between in sub-area a few, which leads to conclusion that the attitude toward engineering and Teacher Efficacy will be gradually improved if educational institutes training pre-service teachers of engineering department operate teacher education courses considering major characteristics and learners' levels and give successful guidance to pre-service teachers. In addition, since the gender factor didn't make any significant difference between the attitude toward engineering and Teacher Efficacy, there is no need to develop and operate separate educational programs only for female or male pre-service teachers.

Teachers' appropriate perception of assessment influences quality of assessment and leads to change of teachers' assessment practices. This study aimed at investigate prospective elementary teachers' perceptions on assessment in mathematics. To this end, we conducted a survey with the questionnaire which was developed based on previous studies on assessment. The questionnaire was composed of 41 questions about purposes and roles of assessment, materials of assessment, reliability of assessment, methods and strategies of assessment. 95 prospective elementary teachers participated in the survey. As a result, we found that prospective elementary teachers had appropriate perception on roles of assessment, materials of assessment and strategies of assessment, whereas they showed somewhat narrow perception on reliability of assessment, purposes and methods of assessment. Based on the results, we presented possible explanations about prospective elementary teachers' lack of perception on assessment and discussed implications for prospective elementary teacher education.

We applied nine analysis criteria in three domains such as emotional support (climate, regard for student perspectives, teacher sensitivity), classroom organization (instructional learning formats, behavior management, productivity), and instructional support (quality of feedback, language modeling, concept development) in the aspects of positive or negative interactions The results show that majority of student-teachers tended to prefer positive interactions especially regarding instructional learning formats or concept development. For the image of avoided class, they tended to show negative interactions related to instructional learning formats or regard for student perspectives. However, they showed extremely lower frequencies for some categories of negative interactions. Female preservice teachers tended to have slightly higher frequencies for some positive interactions than their counterpart. The findings indicate possible approaches to teachers' professional development and further research.
