지금까지 컴퓨터의 교육적 활용은 보조적인 교수자료나 학습도구로서 인식되어 왔지만 디지털교과서(Digital Textbook)의 출현으로 컴퓨터와 학교 교육과정 및 수업이 하나로 통합되면서 컴퓨터의 교육적 역할이 학습보조수단에서 교수.학습활동의 주된 교재로써의 역할로 바뀌게 되었다. 국내에서는 2007년 3월, 교육과학기술부(MEST)에서 본격적인 디지털교과서 개발과 보급을 위한 준비 단계의 계획으로 '디지털교과서 상용화(常用化) 방안'을 발표하였다. 이에 따라 교육 분야에서는 급변하는 국가 사회적 요구를 교과서에 신속히 반영하고 체계적인 교수 학습 국가 DB를 구축하기 위한 "디지털교과서 개발" 사업을 추진하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 디지털교과서 정의와 기능을 제시하며, 국내외의 디지털교과서 개발사례를 살펴본다. 또한 마지막으로 디지털교과서 개발전략 및 발전방향을 제안하였다.

The purpose of the study was to develop a practical arts textbook for creative problem solving abilities in elementary school. In this study the practical arts textbook and teacher's guide has the following characteristics: they were developed to promote creative problem-solving ability, and to instill curiosity and interest about the subject matter. The procedure for the development of the practical arts textbook for creative problem solving abilities is composed of 4 steps; the planning and preparation stage, the research and developmental stage, the writing and compilation stage and the deliberation and improvement stage. This procedure for the development of a textbook can apply to both government published textbooks and to authorized textbooks. The validity of the writing and compilation stage's practical arts textbook developed model is the highest at 4.21, followed by the research and developmental stage's average, at 4.14. Among the textbook's stages of development, the importance of the deliberation and improvement stage averages the lowest, at 3.50.

Human resources specialized in product development (PD) being essential in industry to enhance their competitiveness in the market with differentiated products, the PD curricula of domestic universities are in need of restructuring to better provide a comprehensive and diverse spectrum of knowledge as well as practical experiences for PD. We compared the PD curricula of selected domestic and foreign universities and identified advanced features of PD curricula. The major portion of the information used in our benchmarking of the seven, three domestic and four foreign, universities is obtained through their official websites. At domestic universities, the PD curricula comes in different sizes and is administered at the departmental level. On the other hand, each foreign university has her own unique form of PD curricula which is formulated on the firm basis of multidisciplinary collaboration among schools of Engineering, Management, and Arts with diversified program options ranging from giving course credits to offering various certificates and degrees. The industrial sponsorship in the form of financial support and mentorship at foreign universities is much more noticeable than at domestic universities. The survey results of the present study can be effectively utilized to develop an effective PD curriculum.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the principles for the development of mathematics textbook based on storytelling through literature review, textbook development, and classroom implementation. Mathematics textbook based on storytelling has been developed to help students learn mathematics interesting and meaningful. The principle for the development principles include as the principle of context, process-oriented, communication, and diversity. The developed mathematics textbooks was implemented in high school mathematics classes in order to investigate the effectiveness of the textbooks. We analyzed the data collected by the survey and the interview to find that the mathematics textbook based on storytelling had positive effect on teaching and learning of mathematics. We discussed the implication for the future development and implementation of mathematics textbook based on storytelling.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has been developing the digital textbooks from 2007. But the evaluation criteria on the digital textbooks is not prepared, so it is difficult to develop excellent digital textbooks and to select superior ones. In this study, we researched into the concept, attributes and functions of the digital textbook in order to select the evaluation indicators, based on the literature reviews of digital textbooks, core evaluation measures and criteria were identified. And three methods were employed: a Delphi study, expert forums, and simulation tests. The results of these studies led the development of an evaluation criteria which consisted of four evaluation areas and 74 questions. The four evaluation areas consisted of content area, instrument design area, platform area and user area.

The Korean ministry of education has adopted an educational policy about digital textbooks at K-12 schools since 2018, in order to provide students with individualized learning contents and activities. However, digital textbooks has been yet prepared and delivered for the students with disabilities in the inclusive education. This study aims to develop the guidelines on digital textbooks for students with disabilities applying universal design for learning, recognizing the requirements for the digital textbooks which can be utilized in the K-12 inclusive classrooms for diverse students. In this respect, guidelines on digital textbooks were developed based on previous studies and cases. The first draft of guidelines were reviewed with two rounds of the delphi methods with special teachers. In addition, scenarios were developed, representing the rich educational contexts with digital textbooks applying the guidelines in a practical way for students with 4 types of disabilities. This study can contribute to establishing educational policies and environments related to the digital textbook development and dissemination for students with disabilities.

IT education in the colleges or universities and IT industry in producing IT manpower are urgently called for to balance its supply and demand. To correct this problem, Ministry of Information and Communication launched a program where demand-oriented curriculums are developed and applied to colleges. This paper proposes a design technique based on meta-model and software development process in developing curriculums and courses. This meta-modeling technique is proven to result in the extendibility, flexibility and quality improvement in software design. Therefore, we expect that proposed technique makes it possible to be improved in quality.

이 연구는 케냐 해양대학 항해학과 교과과정의 개발을 위해 다음과 같은 다양한 연구들이 수행되었다. 먼저 2장에서 케냐의 교육 및 환경 여건을 살펴보기 위해 케냐의 전반적인 상황과 JKUAT 및 동 대학 기관공학과의 교과과정을 살펴보았다. 이어 3장에서는 항해학과 교과과정의 표준으로 삼아야 할 IMO STCW 협약 해기교육요건과 IMO 모델 코스를 살펴보았다. 이어 4장에서는 항해학과 교과과정의 개발에 참고하기 위해 모범적인 해기교육을 실시하고 있는 미국의 USMMA와 CMA, 필리핀의 PMMA와 MAAP, 한국의 한국해양대학교, 중국의 대련해사대학교, 그리고 베트남의 VIMARU와 HCMUT의 교과과정을 각각 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 5장에서는 이상의 검토 결과를 토대로 케냐 해양대학의 항해학과 교과과정을 제시하였다.

According to the 2007 national curriculum amendment, new 'informatics' textbooks have been used since 2010 as a textbook for middle school first graders and will eventually be used in other grades. However, only a few studies that have evaluated the 'informatics' textbooks, have been performed. What is worse is the fact that none of the evaluating tools even exist. Therefore, we propose the criteria of selecting 'informatics' textbooks in middle school. Its contents can be summarized as follows: First, this paper classifies previous studies on textbook evaluation into general criteria of selecting textbooks, method of textbook analysis based on how inquisitively students can learn and previous studies which analyzed existing secondary school 'informatics' textbooks and propose the criteria of selecting 'informatics' textbooks in middle school. Second, using the proposed selection criteria for 'informatics' textbooks and other evaluation criteria, five kinds of informatics textbooks were analyzed. Furthermore, it is expected that we can use the selection criteria as a material to choose the new 'Information science' textbooks, and to suggest alternative directions of future studies in the area of evaluating 'Information science' textbooks.

Cyber Textbook Museum is created by the Korean Educational Development Institute in part of the project to manage the knowledge and information of Korea to promote understanding of Korean education and its history. The original and full text of textbooks dating from the 1890s to the present have been digitized and arranged for easy access over internet. An exclusive portal site dealing with Korean textbooks and curriculum materials was made to provide not only the directory service of textbooks and curriculums in diverse data classifications, school levels, years/periods and subjects but also the keyword search by searching engine. Users can search the necessary materials easily and systematically over the screen and use all the functions except save, capture and print. The management system for textbook image(DjVu format), search system and DRM(Digital Rights Management) system were developed. Finally, four suggestions are proposed which are related in the aspects of policy, technical, systematic aspects for active and tremendous use of the site.
