Fundamental study on the technology and application for the Next Generation Digital Textbook (차세대 디지털교과서를 위한 기반기술 및 적용에 관한 연구)

  • The digital textbook project which embarked by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has focused on experiments and practices from the school designated by the government. However the previous research about digital textbook provides static interaction models and teaching-learning models analogous to web-based learning based desktop PC even the framework of the digital textbook is based of Tablet PC. This paper provides learning and teaching models for next generation digital textbook which based digital inking techinques for sketcth interface and AR(augmented reality) interactions between teacher and learner. The proposed method of this paper is applied to educational contents and we found positive effect which is supported by statistical experiments. The results of this study in the future and the future development of digital textbooks in effect will be an effective development plan.

  • 최근 국내 신입사원 입사시험에 NCS 직업기초능력시험을 도입함에 따라 국내 각 대학교나 교육기관에서는 NCS 기반의 전공교육 및 교양교육을 도입하고 있다. 이에 따라 프로그래머를 지향하는 공학도를 위한 NCS 기반 프로그래밍 능력을 향상시켜줄 수 있는 교수-학습 지침안이 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 학습 모듈을 도출하기 위한 분석과정을 거쳐 본 교과의 학습로드맵과 NCS능력단위요소를 기반으로 학습자 스스로 NCS 프로그래밍 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 교수-학습 모듈을 설계하였다.

Design of Digital Textbook Functions Based on the PATROL Instructional Model (PATROL 교수학습모형 기반의 디지털교과서 기능 설계)

  • The PATROL instructional model only uses digital textbooks. PATROL is an acronym for Planning, Action, Tracking, Recommending, Ordering, and Leading. Teachers have a difficult time using current digital textbooks to determine how much time students spend using course materials. This is because current digital textbooks can only show the content of paper textbooks and display additional multimedia materials. In this study, digital textbook functions were designed based on the PATROL model in order to analyze students' learning situations, diagnose problems, and offer solutions. Digital textbook are based on learning analytics named SEE-PAD. SEE-PAD is composed of the following: Social network analysis; Evaluation and assEssment analysis; Predictive analysis; Adaptive learning analysis; and the analysis Dashboard. I drew and showed the use case and sequence diagrams of SEE-PAD to help design digital textbook functions.

A Fundamental Study of Convergenced Curricular-Noncurricular System Development for Personality Education in University (대학 인성교육 교과-비교과 간 융합체계 개발 기초연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to focus on the personality education which is considered a requirement in university education and searched the components to be considered to develop an integrated curricular-noncurricular system to promote the personality education. For this purpose, a method of study was used to explore relevant prior studies in the form of appeal. The basic components of the integrated curricular-noncurricular system for personality education in university are: 'fundamental contents of regular courses of personality education as a fundamental noncurricular program', 'noncurricular areas and hands-on topics related to the contents of regular courses of personality education', 'configuration of integrated curricular-noncurricular system of personality education', 'capacities for personality education and organic categorization', and 'management of follow-up learning'. Finally, the conclusions discussed above were based on the conditions of the leader that could be realized on the basis of the personality education curriculum at the university site.

  • 2007년 개정 교육과정이 시행되면서 새로운 정보 교과서가 개발됨에 따라 개발된 정보 교과서를 평가할 수 있도록 평가 준거를 유목화하여 제시할 필요성이 생겼다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 일반적인 교과서 평가 준거들과 탐구성을 위한 교과서 평가 준거를 기반으로 정보 교과서에 적합한 평가가 이루어질 수 있도록 평가 준거들을 유목화하여 제시한다. 따라서 유목화는 정보 교과서의 평가를 위한 분명하고 체계적인 평가 준거를 제시함으로써 정보 교과서를 위한 타당성 있는 평가를 가능하게 할 것이다.

  • An important element to consider in information subjects is problem solving skills. It is problem solving skills that emphasize "practical usage of learning" in which knowledge of information subjects is integrated along with the cross curricular characteristics of the information subjects. What is usually considered paramount in a subject is knowledge, so the question is, should problem solving be considered more important in information subjects? This study discusses the foundation of subjects based on knowledge in information science, and the specifics of the 2014 amendment to the U.K. curriculum. And based on the core subjects of the U.K. curriculum, this study also offers educational implications as to how knowledge and problem solving skills should be discussed.

  • Social study for province textbook is very difficulty for experience and learning in classroom because the contents of social study for province text book is consist of contents about very far away places. And there are less contents than normal subject. Especially, children need experiences and enough contents for learning in social study for province textbook. The purpose of this paper are as follows: 1) design and implementation of PVR contents 2) applying 4th grade social study for province textbook 3) inspecting for satisfaction degree and result of students about the efficiency of PVR contents.

  • In 2014, third and fourth graders in primary schools will start using digital textbooks for social science, science, and English. Fifth and sixth graders will follow the next year. Given this situation, this study investigated the awareness of digital textbooks by primary school teachers who did not have direct experience with digital textbooks. Also studied was the teachers' acceptance of digital textbooks, based on the Technology Acceptance Model. The results showed that most respondents were not ready to use digital textbooks, and they were apprehensive about their use. However, if the teachers were required to use digital textbooks, usefulness and playfulness were key factors in their acceptance.

  • There is an increasing number of competency-based major courses organized and operated to develop various competencies. Here, competencies include key competencies/major competencies in the evaluation of basic competency diagnosis in universities, Program Outcomes of engineering education certification, and NCS competency units. The Ministry of Education's evaluation of basic university competency requires all major courses to be organized and operated to improve the major competency of the department, and major courses in the department that operates engineering education certification should be linked to Program Outcomes. Various types of competency-based major courses should be educated to improve related competencies, and educational performance should be measured by selecting a competency evaluation method that allows students to check the level of achievement in consideration of both the process and results of performance. Therefore, this paper examines the types of competency evaluation used to measure educational performance in major subjects related to competency, proposes an evaluation method that synthesizes and measures various types of competencies at the subject level, and presents examples of applying them to major subjects.

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate how to improve students' information literacy and problem solving abilities in the computer subject. A web-based problem-based learning (PBL) for computer subject for the 8th graders in middle school are designed and developed. In addition. the process of learners' problem solving on problems produced from PBL model was analysed 10 investigate the way how to evaluate learners' responses and products during two semester.
