이동 질량 효과를 고려한 연속 보의 보행하중 진동 유한요소 해석 (Finite Element Analysis of Continuous Beam Vibration under Pedestrian Loading Considering Moving Mass Effect)

  • 이 논문에서는 이동하는 질량체의 연직 방향에 대한 관성 효과를 고려하여 보의 진동을 해석할 수 있는 유한요소해석 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 정밀한 상호작용 해석을 요하지 않는 경우에 계산의 효율성을 높이는 방법으로서, 이동하는 질량체의 관성 효과를 운동방정식에 연계시키고 질량체와 보의 상호작용력은 외부 하중으로만 고려한다. 범용 유한요소해석 소프트웨어인 Abaqus를 이용하여 시간 영역 해석을 수행하고 보의 절점과 이동하는 강체 질량의 절점 변위를 다지점 구속조건으로 연계하여 해석하는 방법을 제시하였다. 기존 해석적 방법에 의한 해와 비교하여 제안하는 방법을 검증하고 보행하중 모델을 이용한 이동 보행 하중해석에서 보행자의 질량 효과를 살펴보기 위한 간단한 연속 보 모델에 대한 해석 결과를 제시하였다.

  • 자유 및 강제진동하중이 작용하는 양단지지된 변단면 들보의 우한 진폭 운동을, 축방향 및 전단변형과 회전관성을 고려한 유한요소를 이용하여 추적하였다. 수정된 조화하중 행렬을 도입하여 조화하중이 작용하는 변단면 들보와 비조화하중이 작용하는 들보의 유한진폭의 운동을 비선형해석을 하였다. 여러가지 경계조건에 대한 고유진동수와 변위를 계산한 예들은 제안된 방법이 효과적이며 유효함을 보여준다.

  • 아크축(arch axis)의 연장(extensibility) 및 회전관성(rotatory inertia)을 고려한 곡선보(curved beam)의 평면내(in-plane) 자유진동을 미분구적법(DQM)을 이용하여 다양한 경계조건(boundary conditions)과 굽힘각(opening angles)에 따른 진동수(frequencies)를 계산하였다. DQM의 결과를 다른 수치해석결과와 비교하였으며, DQM은 적은 요소(grid points)을 사용하여 정확한 해석결과를 보여주었다.

  • The non-linear responses of a slender rectangular cantilever beam subjected to lateral harmonic base-excitation are investigated by the 2-channel FFT analyzer. Both linear and nonlinear behaviors of the cantilever beam are compared with each other. Bending mode, torsional mode, and transverse mode are coupled in such a way that the energy transfer between them are observed. Especially, superharmonic, subharmonic, and chaotic motions which result from the unstable inertia terms in the transverse mode are analyzed by the FFT analyzer The aim is to give the explanations of the route to chaos, i.e., harmonic motion \longrightarrow superharmonic motion \longrightarrow subharmonic motion \longrightarrow chaos.

  • Several reactor system components, such as heat exchange tubes, fuel fins, controlrods, and various instruments are beam-like components. This study presents a simple solution method for calculating the natural frequencies and modes of beams supported by linear and torsional springs and attached concentrated mass and rotational inertia at some intermediate points. For a general multi-span beam, theoretical method is proposed to analyze the exact solution about vibrational characteristics with respect to the nondimensional parameters. And the results obtained using the numerical models are presented and discussed.

주기관 고차 관성기진력에 의한 콘테이너선 선루진동의 제어 (Control of Deckhouse Vibration of a Container Ship due to Higher Order Inertial Excitation of Main Engine)

  • Vibration problem of deckhouse structure in a container vessel was investigated through the analysis and measurement. The natural frequency of deckhouse structure was found to be resonant with main engine 4th order excitations in the operating range, major sources of which were main engine inertial moment and axial thrust of the propulsion shafting system. To investigate and solve the problem, exciter test was performed to identify the vibration chracteristics of the ship structure and mechanical balancer was installed to compensate the 4th order inertial moment. Measurement results under the conditions with and without balancer operating were compared and analyzed to confirm the balancer effect. Good coincidence was found between the measurement and analysis results, which made it possible to predict the vibration problem in the earlier design stage.

  • Excessive torsional vibrations from marine engine shafting systems can be reduced by using torsional vibration dampers. But in order to be tuned effectively, the dampers should be designed through the optimum design procedure. In this paper, the procedure to get the optimum values of system parameters of spring-viscous dampers using effective modal mass of inertia and stiffness is suggested and the damping is determined by the exact algebra optimization method. The validity of the suggested method is confirmed through the application to a 1800 kW four cycle diesel engine and generator system.

  • Simplified formulae for axial and bending natural frequencies of bellows are developed using an equivalent thin-walled pipe model. The axial and bending stiffness of bellows is determined using lumped transfer matrix method. Accordingly, the Expansion Joint Manufacturers Association (EJMA) formula for axial and bending stiffness calculation is modified using two different equivalent radii. The results from the simplified formulae are verified by those from a experiment result and a finite element (FE) model and good agreement is shown between the each other.

  • In this paper, numerical method of evaluating the influence of Dual Mass Flywheel(DMFW) to the torsional vibration of the automotive power train system is developed. And we applied the procedure to the currently being developed HMC's DMFW attached to an FF car to find out the best performance characteristics during the Tip-in/Tip-out operating condition. In doing this we compared the numerical results with the experimental results and Performed Parametric studies. We find out that the torsional vibrational characteristics of power train system can be significantly improved when we optimally choose DMFW, and the developed numerical procedure could be used as valuable tools in developing new DMFW.

  • In this paper, we study the analytical method to predict the excitation forces for the engine system. The engine system on the construction equipment is one of the important power sources, and the characteristics of the engine decide the performance of noise and vibration for the equipment. We predict the excitation forces using the geometrical data of the crank system and the combustion pressure in the cylinder. The excited forces are represented by the torque fluctuation above the center of the crank shaft.
