Effects of Information Overload on Hostile Behaviors Online (온라인 상의 적대적 행동에 정보과부하가 미치는 영향)

  • Although there have been lots of studies about users' behaviors online, few have explored the mechanism of hostile behaviors. In this sense, this study aims at discovering what may elevate users' hostile behaviors. More specifically, we tried to find the relationship between flaming behavior and perception factors such as perceived risk, anonymity and expected emotional reaction. A survey was conducted to investigate the relationship of the above variables. As a result, all these variables show significant effects on flaming, and information overload are found to act as a moderator. We carefully conclude that flaming in online community can be reduced by preventing information overload each user perceives.

Effects of Regret in Consumer Failure Situation: Moderation of Self-Compassion (소비자 실패 상황에서 후회의 효과: 자기자비의 조절 효과)

  • In this study, we examined whether the intention to choose varies according to the experience of the regret of consumers when experiencing a failure in the status quo or non-status quo, and how self-compassion plays a moderating role in this relationship. A experiment was conducted to achieve the purpose of the study. First, this study also confirmed that regret was a mediator between dissatisfaction with choice outcomes and behavioral intentions. Second, like previous studies, this study confirmed the effect of status quo in general. However, it can be seen that the effect depend on self-compassion. Or, the regrets of those with high self-compassion and their future behavioral intentions did not change significantly whether it was wrong due to maintaining on or changing of the status quo. On the other hand, those with low self-compassion showed the bigger differences, so they were typically showing the status quo effect.

Moderated Moderating Effect of Gender and Resilience in the Relationship between Family-Friendly Climate and Innovative Behavior (가족친화적 조직분위기와 혁신행동의 관계에서 성별과 회복탄력성의 조절된 조절효과)

  • This research examines the effects of family-friendly organizational climate(FFOC) on innovative behavior. In addition, this study analyzed the moderated moderation effect of members' gender and resilience in the relationship between FFOC and innovative behavior. The results of this study, which empirically analyzed 1,026 employees of manufacturing companies in South Korea using SPSS regression analysis and PROCESS macro, are as follows. First, the FFOC showed a positive effect on innovative behavior. Second, gender had a moderating effect on the relationship between FFOC and innovative behavior. Specifically, men showed higher innovative behavior than women at the low FFOC level, but women showed higher innovative behavior than men at the high FFOC level. Finally, this research demonstrated the moderated moderation effect of gender and resilience in the relationship between FFOC and innovative behavior. ① When the FFOC was high, in the employee group with a low level of resilience, women's innovative behavior was higher than that of men. On the other hand, men's innovative behavior remained at a certain level regardless of FFOC. ② Also, in the employee group with a high level of resilience, the innovative behavior of men was higher than women regardless of FFOC. Based on the results of this study, theoretical and practical implications, research limitations, and future research directions were discussed.

The Study on the Antecedents and Consequences of Relationship Quality between Customer and Influencer (고객과 인플루언서의 관계품질(Hot IRQ, Cold IRQ)의 선행요인과 결과요인에 대한 연구)

  • This study examines the relationship between customer experience, customer-influencer relationship quality, and customer behaviors. This study employed questionnaire survey and collected 413 data. The structural equation modeling (SEM) method is used to test the hypotheses of the study. As a result of the study, it was found that among customer experiences, emotional experience had a greater effect on hot IRQ than cold IRQ, and cognitive experience had a greater effect on cold IRQ than hot IRQ. And it was found that hot IRQ had a greater effect on relationship retention intention than recommendation intention, and cold IRQ had a greater effect on recommendation intention than relationship maintenance intention. This study provides various implications both theoretically and practically by examining the relationship quality between customers and influencers.

  • In this study, we surveyed 184 participating participants in the golf lesson program. The motivation, self-efficacy, and intention to participate were surveyed. First, the multiple regression analysis of participation motivation and self-efficacy showed that behavior self-efficacy had a significant effect on external manifestation and socialization, whereas maintenance self-efficacy was related to technology development/achievement, enjoyment, A significant influence was found. Second, regression analysis of participation motivation and participation persistence intention showed that only enjoyment factor explains meaningfulness of participation persistence intention. Third, regression analysis of self-efficacy and participation persistence showed a significant effect on both behavior and maintenance factors.

Study on Mutual Relation Between the User Benefit and the User's Characteristics in the Children's Library (어린이도서관의 이용자편익과 이용자특성간의 상호관계에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to confirm that the user benefit criteria can be applied as the user benefit criteria of children's libraries by examining the theoretical validity of the user benefit criteria and furthermore, by clarifying and verifying the mutual relation between the user benefit criteria and the child development area. For such a purpose, this study collected data from 247 users of children's libraries in the country and collected data was analyzed using the structural equation modeling. The result of analysis is as follows. First, the relation between physical development and behavioral facilitation, emotional development and physiological maintenance, cognitive development and perceptual maintenance, and the development of social skills and social facilitation was appropriate. Second, usability, safety and diversity was valid as an index of behavioral facilitation, self-esteem, amenity and peacefulness was valid as an index of physiological maintenance, esthetic sense, dynamics and flexibility was valid as an index of perceptual maintenance, and leisure, communication and territoriality was valid as an index of social facilitation. Third, children who prefer physical development prefer the benefit of behavioral facilitation, children who prefer emotional development prefer the benefit of physiological maintenance, children who prefer cognitive development prefer the benefit of perceptual maintenance and children who prefer the development of social skills prefer the benefit of social facilitation.

Differential Relationship between Maternal Monitoring and Adolescent Drinking and Vandalism as a Function of Adolescents' Parental Rule Obedience (어머니의 감독과 부모가 정한 규칙에 대한 준수의무감에 따른 청소년의 음주 및 타인 소유물 파손 행동)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine whether adolescents' parental rule obedience moderates the relationship between maternalmonitoring and problem behavior (drinking and vandalism). Participants were 398 adolescents attending a middle school (6th through 8th grades) in a semi-rural mid-Atlantic community in the USA. Data were collected by questionnaires including items regarding relationships with parents, problem behavior, and peer relationships. Hierarchical multiple regression was usedto analyze the data. Results indicate that maternal monitoring is negatively related with adolescent drinking and vandalism. However, the negative relationship varies as a function of adolescents' parental rule obedience. The relationship was stronger among adolescents with lower level of parental rule obedience than among adolescents with higher level of parental rule obedience. Findings from this study suggest that research on maternal monitoring during adolescence needs to take adolescents' personal characteristics into account to better understand the process. They also suggest that parents could lower the possibility that their children's will be involved in drinking and vandalism by maintaining quality relationships with their children because children are more likely to internalize their parents' rules and standards when they have positive relationships with parents.

Dynamic Structural Equation Models of Activity Participation and Travel Behavior using Puget Sound Transportation Panel (Puget Sound Transportation Panel을 이용한 활동참여와 통행행동의 Dynamic SEM)

  • This paper develops a dynamic structural equation model, which captures relationships among socio-demographics, activity participation(i.e., time use) and travel behavior in consideration with time variation effects. The data used in developing the model are two waves(the year 1991 and 1992) from Puget Sound Transportation Panel (PSTP). which is surveyed in Puget Sound Region in United States. The PSTP is widely used in transportation behavior analysis and includes various information of traveler's socio-economic, travel patterns, and activity participation. In the model, we use 10 endogenous variables including activity participations and travel behaviors and 10 exogenous variables composed of time variant and invariant traveler's socio-demographic variables. The empirical model shows that strong relationships exist not only between socio-demographics and travel behavior, but between waves. We also confirm needs of panel data set to identify and understand time variation effects and travel behaviors.

  • Recently corporations are faced with the age of convergence technology, so manny corporations recognize the importance of human resources. Therefore, the organization has attracted and remained the necessary human resources to continued growth. Accordingly, This study investigated the impacts of Job embeddedness on Innovation Behavior. In addition, examined the moderating effects of Job Meaning. As a result, Job Embeddedness positively affected to Innovation Behavior, the moderating effect of Job meaning had significant effected. This research provides; 1) When the relationship is maintained stably, the organization's innovation is promoted. 2) Job meaning with individuals can enhance the innovation.

The Structure Model between Private Security Company's Relationship Characteristics, Service Quality and Consumer Behavior (민간경비업체의 관계적 특성, 서비스품질과 소비행동의 구조적 관계)

  • The study aims at identifying, through structure model, the relationship characteristics between a private security company and its service customer as well as the relationship between the service quality and the consumer behavior, thereby providing the practical services that may attract new customers and maintain the existing customers in the competition to survive in the same industry and also may raise the loyal customer base, providing academic fundamental data to set up aggressive relationship marketing strategies. To achieve such purposes above, the research was conducted with 229 subjects, the users of a private security company's service as the employees of the stores located in Cheonan area, using the convenience sampling. The data was treated, using the statistics program, SPSS Windows 18.0 Version for frequency analysis and reliability analysis. Additionally, the confirmative factor analysis and covariance structural analysis were made, using AMOS 18.0 Version. Through the data analysis following the research methods above, the conclusion was acquired as follows: First, the relationship characteristics of a private security company makes influence on service quality. Second, the service quality of a private security company makes influence on consumer behavior. Third, the relationship characteristics of a private security company makes influence on consumer behavior. Fourth, the service quality makes an influence as the mediate effect between the private security company's relationship characteristics and consumer behavior.
