An Examination of Preconditions for the Creation of Collective Intelligence (집단지성 발현의 선행요인 검토)

  • This study aimed to reveal factors that contribute to the creation of collective intelligence (CI) and to provide a cornerstone for future studies on this subject. We hypothesized that effects of the complexity and meaningfulness of the task, diversity, openness to experience, independence, decentralization, and the use of information and communication technology (ICT) are preconditions for the creation of CI. To investigate these hypotheses, we surveyed 200 individuals in the research and development-based manufacturing industry and collected a total of 185 valid responses. The results of the analysis showed that the meaningfulness of the task, openness to experience, independence, decentralization, and the use of ICT had positive effects on CI. Both perceived dissimilarity and value diversity had negative effects on CI. When all variables were included, their significance for the creation of CI showed the following order: use of ICT, the meaningfulness of the task, openness to experience, perceived dissimilarity, and value difference. The theoretical and empirical implications of these results were discussed.

  • 호텔기업은 최고의 서비스를 주고받는 산업으로 다른 기업과의 비교우위를 위하여 우수한 인력개발을 통해 조직의 효율성을 확보하는 전략에 초점을 맞추어 왔다. 따라서 본 연구는 호텔종사원을 연구대상으로 선정하여 첫째, 관계갈등이 조직시민행동에 영향을 미칠 것이다, 둘째, 과업갈등이 조직시민 행동에 영향을 미칠 것이다. 셋째, 관계갈등과 조직시민행동과의 관계, 과업갈등과 조직시민행동과의 관계에서 셀프리더십의 조절을 살펴보았다. 자료 수집을 위한 설문조사는 서울 경기도 지역의 특급호텔 종사원을 대상으로 400명에게 설문을 실시하였다. 분석결과를 예측해보면 첫째, 관계갈등은 조직시민행동에 유의미한 관계를 미칠 것으로, 둘째 과업갈등은 조직시민행동에 유의미한 관계를 미칠 것으로, 셋째, 셀프리더십은 관계갈등과 조직시민행동간의 관계에서 조절변수의 역할을 넷째, 셀프리더십은 과업갈등과 조직시민행동에 조절효과를 미칠 것으로 판단되어 진다. 조직시민행동의 예측변인으로서 관계갈등과 과업갈등에 대하여 탐색적인 수준에서 연구가 이루어졌음에도 관계갈등과 조직시민행동 그리고 셀프리더십의 상호작용을 다룬 연구가 이루어진 것에 의미가 있다. 또한 관계갈등과 조직시민행동의 관계를 조절하고 과업갈등과 조직시민행동과의 관계를 조절할 것으로 예측되어지는데 이는 후속연구의 바탕이 될 수 있을 것이다. 이런 연구결과를 바탕으로 조직의 관리자는 관계갈등과 과업갈등을 최소화 하고 조직시민행동을 높일 수 있는 방안에 대한 다양한 자기개발 및 프로그램을 개발하고 종사원에게 제공하여 건실한 조직문화를 이루어야 하겠다.

신관리기법으로서의 PERT.CPM

  • 최근 급속히 팽창된 산업 구조와 이에 따른 업무량의 증가는 종래의 관리기술로서는 이를 성공적으로 처리할 수 없게 되었으며 아울러 인간의 미래조작능력의 증대와 기업구상력의 개발, 사회변동에 대비한 예측적인 계획의 수립 등 관리기능의 신장은 새로운 관리기법을 요구하게 되었으므로 PERT/CPM 수법이 신관리기법의 하나로 등장하게 되었다. PERT/CPM 이란 Program Evaluation Review and Technique, Critical Path Method 의 약자로서 우리말로는 계획수립 집행 및 평가로 번역되는데 이의 직역은 종속 및 총합 $\ulcorner$시스템$\lrcorner$ 과업의 동시진행 및 집중관리라 할 수 있는 것으로 시간과 비용을 절감하려는 기법인 것이다. 또한 PERT 기법은 복잡한 작업형태를 상호관련성있는 Network로 구성하고 제종속작업을 하나의 통일된 목표로 진행시키는 것을 의미한다. 이와 같은 PERT/CPM 기법은 제한된 자원의 효율적인 투자 및 관리와 불필요한 시간과 비용을 제거하여 준다. 현재 정부(경제기획원)는 PERT/CPM 제도를 도입하여 건설공사에 대한 예산관리제도를 설정중에 있으며 민간 및 정부투자기관으로서 현대건설주식회사와 한국전력주식회사와 이미 PERT/CPM 제도화방책을 연구기관에 위촉하여 제2단계적용을 시도하고 있는 것은 시대적 당위성에 따른 타당한 전망이라 하겠다. 거금 한국양회공업협회가 본제도의 도입 적용을 추진하기 위한 일련의 조사활동을 시작한 것은 시멘트 공업계의 새로운 경영관리체제를 모색하고 업계를 선도하는 중요한 전환점이 되리라 믿는다.

The Effect of Person-Environment Fit on Task Performance and Turnover Intention, and the Mediating Effect of Work Motivation in SMEs (중소기업의 개인-환경적합성이 효과성 변수에 미치는 영향과 자기결정성 기반 직무동기의 매개효과)

  • This study investigates the effects of three types of person-environment fit, i.e. POF, PJF(ability) and PJF(needs), on effectiveness variables and the mediating effect of work motivation in SMEs. The data were collected from 211 employees who work for SMEs. Results of structural equation modeling(SEM) analyses demonstrated that PJF(ability) was significantly associated with task performance and turnover intention, while POF and PJF(needs) were significantly associated with turnover intention only. PJF(needs) and PJF(ability) have the positive impact on intrinsic motivation, PJF(ability) also has the positive impact on external and identified motivation. We also analysed mediating effects using Process macro. Results demonstrated that intrinsic motivation mediated the relationship between POF, PJF(needs), PJF(ability) and task performance. The relationship between PJF(ability) and task performance was mediated by external motivation. Based on the results, theoretical and practical implications are derived. Also suggested are methodological limitations and future research directions.

휴먼에러의 선행요인에 관한 탐색적 연구: 기관사와 관제사의 사회심리변인 상관관계분석

  • 기관사와 관제사는 일상적 교번근무의 제도적 틀과 사고 및 장애발생의 가능성을 늘 염려하면서 주어진 과업을 수행해나가고 있다. 최근 철도분야의 휴먼에러에 대한 사회적 관심이 높아지면서 휴먼에러 유발의 원인과 해소방안에 대한 연구관심도 더불어 증대되고 있다. 그 동안 기관사를 대상으로 한 연구가 주류를 이루고 있는 가운데 관제사에 대한 접근은 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 그러나 관제사 또한 안전업무종사자의 일원으로 이들의 과업수행은 휴먼에러와 깊은 관련성이 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 안전업무종사자인 기관사와 관제사의 휴먼에러 및 그 선행요인과 후행요인을 탐색적으로 밝히되 사회심리변인들의 상관관계분석 결과를 토대로 두 직종을 비교관점에서 접근함으로써 좀 더 의미있는 결과를 도출하는데 주력했다.

  • Recently, Dennis et al.(2008) proposed media synchronicity theory. In this theory, for conveyance communication processes, use of media supporting lower synchronicity should result in better communication performance. But for convergence processes, use of media supporting higher synchronicity should result in better communication performance. This paper proved a part of the propositions of media synchronicity theory, because media synchronicity theory was proposed theoretically, not empirically. We used a data set generated from the survey. The respondents of survey were 163 students who had experienced the communication media in the classes that should summit result of team projects or team reports. According to the results of data analysis, higher use of communication media led to better learning performance. The familiarity of task moderated the effect of communication media on learning performance. And use of media supporting higher synchronicity led to better learning performance.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the volunteer's job characteristics in university student on their volunteering satisfaction and continuance will. Based on Hackman and Oldham's theory of core job characteristics, this study analyzed 261 university students in Gangwon-do by survey. The results of this study are summarized as follows: The volunteering participation ratio of university student is 71.6%. volunteer's job characteristics, volunteering satisfaction and continuance will is showed lower level. And skill variety, task identity and feedback among Hackman and Oldham's 5 core job characteristics show positive influence on volunteering satisfaction, and skill variety, task indentity, task significance and feedback show positive influence on continuance will. As a result, volunteer's satisfaction and continuance will depended on the job characteristics. Therefore, to assure volunteer's satisfaction and continuance will, redesign for volunteer's job characteristics.

  • This study was carried out in order to verify the influence that social welfare trust organizational culture and level of empowerment. The study object 656 copies of guns were used to analysis to social worker engaged in to the community welfare agency, old man welfare agency, disabled welfare agency which was social welfare use facilities. Organizational culture and empowerment as it was for an independent variable analyzed correlation to trust and executed regression analysis to grasp a degree of an influence to be mad to trust. Research result, first, Organizational culture appeared to what I affected to trust social group culture, development cultural artist and second, Level of empowerment of social worker appeared to what I affected to trust own a task meaning result and self-determination. There's social welfare is organized in order to improve social welfare gratitude confidence, and it is group culture and development culture, and an level of empowerment to recognize a social welfare private house gives meaning anger to a task and self-determination had to heighten it.

  • The purpose of this paper is to study of improve the organizational performance and survival with the changes of the circumstances or in pursuit of improving the organizational effectiveness through the learning organization, the organizational culture was inspected with the condition precedent of the learning organization. The result of this empirical study is summarized as followings. First, the learning organization has a positive effect on the organizational effectiveness. The knowledge and experience accumulated by the learning organization improve the official satisfaction. Second, in the organizational culture of the learning organization, developmental and rational culture has positive effect on the learning organization, but hierarchical and group culture has no effect. on the learning organization. Therefore, to establish the learning organization through the organizational learning, all managers realize the importance of developmental and rational culture because the organizational effectiveness is significant when the organization change is new.

  • This paper aims to examine the relationships between job embeddedness, Job Involvement in the convergence age. In addition, this study examined the moderating effects of Job Meaning. To accomplish these purposes, the main factors of the job embeddedness such as fit, link and sacrifice were found from the previous studies. Also, 306 questionnaires were used in the analysis. The following are the summary of hypothesis test: First, Job Embeddedness are positively related to Job Involvement. Second, the moderating effects of Skill Variety and Task Identity is a significant partial moderating effect on the relationship between job embeddedness and Job Involvement, but about Task Significance are significant full moderating effect.
