This study evaluated the engineering students' ethical sensitivity to an AI emotion recognition robot scenario and explored its characteristics. For data collection, 54 students (27 majoring in Convergence Electronic Engineering and 27 majoring in Computer Software) were asked to list five factors regarding the AI robot scenario. For the analysis of ethical sensitivity, it was checked whether the students acknowledged the AI ethical principles in the AI robot scenario, such as safety, controllability, fairness, accountability, and transparency. We also categorized students' levels as either informed or naive based on whether or not they infer specific situations and diverse outcomes and feel a responsibility to take action as engineers. As a result, 40.0% of students' responses contained the AI ethical principles. These include safety 57.1%, controllability 10.7%, fairness 20.5%, accountability 11.6%, and transparency 0.0%. More students demonstrated ethical sensitivity at a naive level (76.8%) rather than at the informed level (23.2%). This study has implications for presenting an ethical sensitivity evaluation tool that can be utilized professionally in educational fields and applying it to engineering students to illustrate specific cases with varying levels of ethical sensitivity.

This study investigates the performance of accreditation programs for engineering education in Korea using questionnaire. The survey includes workers who graduated the accreditation programs, supervisors of the workplace of the graduates, and professors or related persons of the universities. Overall the results shows that related three groups of individuals evaluates the program positively. The accreditation programs have positive effect on the labor market entrance and performances in the workplace estimated by earnings. Compared with major courses, courses of liberal arts and social science needs revision to have more positive response from graduates and employers. Also the program has to give more attention to strengthen the competencies related to professionals and ethics related with job, and adjustment in the work environment.

This study aims to suggest implications on develop and operate NCS curriculum by analyzing of differences in perception and educational needs of university students, graduates, human resource managers(HR managers) on NCS basic job skill. The respondents of survey are composed of 533 university students in K university, 730 graduates and 106 HR managers. The major findings are as follows: first, the results showed that the importances of all competencies recognized by HR managers was higher than those of university students and graduates. And graduates perceived their level of competencies as higher than those of university students. Second, the needs for self-development skill, technical skill, and problem-solving skill was the highest within the students and graduates, meanwhile, the needs for the mathematical skill, resource management skill, and the organization understanding skill were low. In contrast, the results of this study showed that the HR managers has the high needs for self-development skill, communication skill and problem-solving skill. Also, HR managers has the low needs for mathematical skill, resource management skill, information skill, technical skill, organizational understanding skill, and job ethics. Based on the above results, we proposed the necessity to develop and apply the NCS curriculum considering the education needs recognized by current students, graduates, and HR managers.

본 연구는 산업체 임직원 및 오산대학 교수들이 학생들에게 우선 요구하는 직업기초역량이 무엇이고, 우리나라 대학들에서는 이러한 직업기초역량을 향상시키기 위해 어떤 노력을 기울이고 있는지를 파악하여, 향후 오산대학 재학생의 직업기초역량 향상 방안을 모색, 이를 대학의 정책에 반영하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 정승환(2005)이 개발한 직업기초능력 진단지를 연구의 목적에 맞게 수정하여 각 학과에 협조문과 함께 배포하여 이를 회수하였다. 그리하여 설문에 응한 총 292명의 산업체 임직원 및 51명의 교수들 자료를 최종 분석하였다. 한편, 우리나라 대학들에서 재학생의 직업기초역량 향상을 위해 어떤 노력을 하고 있는지를 문헌 등을 통해 분석하였다. 조사결과, 첫째, 각 직업기초역량별 하위 항목들에 대한 중요도 대비 현재수준을 통해 개발이 요구되는 직업기초역량을 산업체 임직원들의 담당업무별로 알아본 결과, 사무 관리직은 '자기개발 관리능력', '문제해결능력', 그리고 영업서비스직은 '문제해결능력', '자기개발 관리능력'을, 기술 생산직도 '문제해결능력', '자기개발 관리능력'을 기타 업무의 경우도 '문제해결능력', '자기개발 관리능력'을 부족한 역량으로 꼽았다. 둘째, 교수들이 속한 학과의 계열별로 볼 때, 공학계열은 '기획능력', '자기개발 관리능력', '문제해결능력', '비즈니스 예절'을 그리고 인문사회계열은 '자기개발 관리능력', '기획능력', '문제해결능력', '비즈니스예절', '직업윤리'를, 기타 계열은 '문제해결능력', '기획능력', '직업윤리', 자기개발 관리능력', '정보능력'의 순으로 부족한 역량으로 꼽았다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 오산대학 각 계열 재학생들에게 우선 요구되는 직업기초역량 둥에 대해 논의하였다.

This paper deals with how Korean press constructs the study on human gene in the process to collect information add distribute them to readers by their ideological characteristics. By using frame analysis method, this paper analysis the reality construction of human gene's studies in critical insights and explores some alternatives for solving the social conflict around human gene's study. Based on the study results, this paper suggests that Korean press needs more positive role in establishing a public sphere in order to make a social consensus about ethical issues of human gene's studies.

In this article, we examined designer babies and bioethics, and we reviewed how Anna argued that she had the rights to her body through trial with parents. No matter what purpose a cloned human or designer baby was born with, it is worth being respected as the birth itself. After learning the secrets of his birth in Jodie Picoult's My Sister's Keeper, which is based on a designer baby, Anna falls into confusion of identity and sues parents who decide to transplant organs regardless of Anna's will. Anna argues that she has the right to make decisions about her own body and that even her parents can't disregard her opinions. Scientists should stop their research if using biotechnology to reproduce humans, such as designer babies and cloned humans, can destroy the natural order.

The Korean Society of Law and Medicine has faithfully played the role of professional academic organizations last 20 years in terms of academic activities, accumulated achievements, diversity, professionalism, and influence on academic circles. The Korean Society of Law and Medicine and the Journal of Medical Law serve as a platform for academic information and exchange of opinions on medical law. Medical law began in the midst of increasing conflicts and disputes caused by medical malpractice and the enactment and legal coercion of medical care as pressure on medical workers. It tried to find a way to coexist with each other through the encounter and convergence of medicine and law. Medical criminal law extends from traditional crimes in the realm of life and body protection to bioethics violations caused by the development of biomedical technology, corruption and economic crime in the medical field. Medical law has evolved into a comprehensive legal area dealing with legal issues raised in medical treatment, healthcare, bioethics, and life sciences technology. On the legal side, medical law is not independent legal areas. It is overlapping with traditional law areas such as civil law, administrative law, criminal law, social law, civil and criminal procedure law. However, it is now established as a convergence study in medicine, bioethics, life science, as well as in various fields of law. It has become an area where collaboration is needed with the field of law, medicine, ethics, sociology and economics. Medical criminal law has undergone a dynamic development over the last two decades. The development of medicine and medical technology provides new and innovative methods of diagnosis and treatment. The achievements and risks of revolutionary developments in biotechnology, genetic engineering and medicine coexist. While there is a dazzling achievement that mankind has hoped for: combating disease and improving health, it also creates unwanted side effects and risks to humans. There is a need to reconsider ethical and legal principles. The discovery and development of patient identity and autonomy has changed the medical doctor-patient relationship. Furthermore, it was complicated by the triangle relationship of patients, medical doctors and insurance. Legal matters are also complicated. This is why the necessity of legislation is emerging. Criminal punishment provisions are also required. The Medical Law and Biomedical Law are systematically and coherently deformed as mosaic-based legislation that takes place whenever there are social issues, citizens' needs, and medical organizations' interests, rather than sufficient enactment and revision procedures. It needs a complete overhaul, and this is possible through interdisciplinary collaboration which is the strength of The Korean Society of Law and Medicine.

a numerical method to the problem of mutual admittance between two slots is considered by use of conservation of complex power. Calculation of mutual admittance is compared with other results. And mutual admittance obtained by the method is used in the analysis for the broadband rectangular microstrip antenna geometry using E0plane gap coupling. The theoretical results for both return loss and radiation pattern of the broadband antenna are compared with experimental results. Good agreement between calculated and measured values has been observed.

Dielectrically filled parallel-plate waveguide with finite number of periodic slots in its upper plate as a leaky wave antenna is analysed for E-polarization case. The integro-differential equation whose unknown is the slot equivalent magnetic current over the slot is formulated and solved by use of Galerkin's method. From knowledge of the equivalent magnetic current, the propagation constant and radiation pattern for the finite periodic structure are determined and compared with the results of the infinite case. Good correspondence between them is observed.

Periodically slotted dielectricalloy filled parallel-plate waveguide as a leaky wave antenna is designed and fabricated at the center frequency of 10.0GHz. The antenna was fed by use of a hog-horn structure. The hog-horn and the two side walls and the lower plate of parallel-plate waveguide were fabricated form duralumin. The upper plate of parallel-plate waveguide with 48 periodic slots was made of copper plate of 1mm thickness. The dielectric material inside the parallel-plate waveguide was chosen to be paraffin. The experimental radiation pattern for the fbricated antenna was compared with the theoretical results for the finite periodic structure.
