Evaluation of Procss Capability for Exponential Distribution (지수분포의 공정능력 평가)

  • 품질보증 부분에서 대부분 통계적 수법들은 기지분포를 가정하여 데이터를 분석하고 있다. 예를 들면 공정능력에서는 정규분포를 가정하고 있고, 신뢰성 분석에서는 지수분포, 대수정규분포 또는 와이블분포 등을 가정하고 있다. 만약 이러한 것들이 가정하는 확률분포와 크게 편의될 때 도출된 결론은 그 유효성을 상실하게 된다. 따라서 공정이 정규분포를 하지 않는다면 정규분포에 기초한 공정능력지수의 사용은 부정확한 공정의 정보를 제시하게 된다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 그 사례로 소표본일 경우 정규성의 유무를 Lilliefors 검정통계량으로 검정하였다. 그리고 최우추정량(MLE), 수정적률추정량(MME), 및 적률추정량(ME)을 사용하여 모수추정을 하여 그 각각의 경우에 공정능력지수로 평가하였다. 공정능력지수의 평가는 공정이 지수분포를 하는 경우에 적합한 공정능력지수($C_{pe}$)를 제안하고, 이것의 대안으로써 Pearson 시스템, Johnson 시스템 및 Burr 시스템과도 비교평가 하였다.

On the asymptotic correlationship for some process capability indices Ĉp, Ĉpk and Ĉpm (공정능력지수 Ĉp, Ĉpk와 Ĉpm를 위한 점근적 상관성에 관한 연구)

  • Higher quality level is generally perceived by customers as improved performance by assigning a correspondingly higher satisfaction score. Usually, the quality level is measured by process capability indices. The index is used to determine whether a production process is capable of producing items within a specified tolerance. Some useful process capability indices $C_p$, $C_{pk}$ and $C_{pm}$ have been widely used in six sigma industries to assess process performance. Most evaluations on process capability indices focus on point estimates, which may result in unreliable assessments of process performance. It is necessary to investigate their asymptotic correlationship among process capability indices $\hat{C}_p$, $\hat{C}_{pk}$ and $\hat{C}_{pm}$. In this paper, we study their asymptotic correlationship for some process capability indices $\hat{C}_p$, $\hat{C}_{pk}$ and $\hat{C}_{pm}$ under the normal process.

Development of Fairness Evaluation Index for the Construction Industry (건설산업의 공정성 평가지수 개발)

  • This study analyzed both the legal system regarding fair trade and the types of unfair trade in the construction industry. Then, it derived the factors with which to evaluate the level of fairness. These factors were classified by each type of participant in the construction industry, such as general contractors and subcontractors, and each construction stage, such as bidding, contracting, and construction. The perceived fairness level of factors was analyzed using a survey of 238 employees of general contractors and subcontractors. Next, the study developed a fairness index for the construction industry. The index showed that subcontractors perceived the level of fairness more negatively than general contractors, but both perceived the construction stage of the industry as having the lowest level of fairness. General contractors perceived the bidding and contracting stages as having the highest fairness levels, and subcontractors perceived the contracting stage as having the highest level of fairness. The developed fairness index identified the evaluation factors that need improvement and the fairness level perceived by each type of participant at each stage of construction. The results of this study can contribute to establishing measures that improve the level of fairness in the construction industry.

Statistical Estimation for Hazard Function and Process Capability Index under Bivariate Exponential Process (이변량 지수 공정 하에서 위험함수와 공정능력지수에 대한 통계적 추정)

The process capability indices and the sigma level $Z_{st}$ ave been widely used in six sigma industries to assess process performance. Most evaluations on process capability indices focus on statistical estimation under normal process which may result in unreliable assessments of process performance. In this paper, we consider statistical estimation for bivariate VPCI(Vector-valued Process Capability Index) $C_{pkl}=(C_{pklx},\;C_{pklx})$ under Marshall and Olkin (1967)'s bivariate exponential process. First, we derive some limiting distribution for statistical inference of bivariate VPCI $C_{pkl}$. And we propose two asymptotic normal confidence regions for bivariate VPCI $C_{pkl}$. The proposed method may be very useful under bivariate exponential process. A numerical result based on our proposed method shows to be more reliable.

  • The method has been proposed for the risk assessment of petro-chemical plant, specially which can evaluate relative risk levels on the materials and process-es. The each potential risk of materials and processes are derived numerically and combined these values, finally Fire and Explosion Index was found. Material factor was evaluated with the flammability and the reactivity and process factor with emprical factor called penalty. This F&EI can be performed for relative risk assesment at the whole plant and directely applicable at the line.

  • 공정능력지구 $C_{pk}$는 제조공정이 제품을 제대로 생산하고 있는지를 평가하기 위하여 널리 사용되고 있는 측도이다. 최근까지 공정능력지수 $C_{pk}$에 관한 추정문제들이 만히 연구되었는 바, 대부분의 이러한 연구들은 공정분포가 정규분포임을 가정하였다. 하지만 실제 품질관리 현장의 공정으로부터 얻어지는 특성치들이 정규분포를 따르지 않는 경우가 많이 발생하며, 이를 감지하기가 어려울 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 공정능력지수 $C_{pk}$에 대한 바람직한 구간추정 방법을 제안하기 위하여 6가지 형태의 비모수적인 붓스트랩 신뢰구간을 설정하고 세 가지 공정분포에 대하여 다양하고 포괄적인 모의실험을 통하여 그 효율성에 관하여 비교연구를 하였다.

Usually, the quality level is measured by process capability indices. The index is used to determine whether a production process is capable of producing items within a specified tolerance. The third generation index $C_{pmk}$ is more powerful than two useful indices $C_p$ and $C_{pk}$. which have been widely used in six sigma industries to assess process performance. Most evaluations on process capability indices focus on point estimates, which may result in unreliable assessments of process performance. In this paper, we consider better testing procedure on assessing process capability index $C_{pmk}$ for practitioners to use in determining whether a given process is capable. It is easy to use the proposed method for assessing process capability index $C_{pmk}$. Whether a process is clearly normal or nonnormal, our bootstrap testing procedure could be applied effectively without the complexity of calculation. A numerical result based on our proposed method is illustrated.

The Effect of Corporate Social Responsibility on Audit Efficiency: Analyses of the effects of KEJI Index on Audit Fees and Audit Hours (감사대상기업의 사회적 책임활동과 감사의 효율성 : 경제정의지수와 감사보수 및 감사시간의 관련성 분석)

  • This paper analyzes for companies of 2011~2014 the effects of corporate social responsibility on audit efficiency. Using KEJI Index and its individual components which is published by Citizens' Coalition for Economic Justice Institute, this paper analyzes their effects on audit efficiency of audit fees and audit hours. The results of analyses are as followings. First, corporate social responsibility(CSR) composite index did not show any significant relationship between audit fees and audit hours. However, for analyses of the effects of CSR individual components on audit efficiency, variable such as CSR fairness(CSR2), CSR social contribution(CSR3), CSR environmental protection activity(CSR5) have the negative effects on the audit fees and audit time. and CSR customer protection(CSR4), CSR employee satisfaction(CSR6) have the positive effects on the audit fees and audit time. Results suggest that independent auditors may reduce audit risks associated with possible misrepresentation of financial statements for companies with high scores of CSR fairness (CSR2), CSR social contribution(CSR3), and CSR environmental protection activity(CSR5). Also, financial statement auditors may perceive surge of discretionary expenses, and set audit risk high for companies with CSR customer protection(CSR4), and CSR employee satisfaction(CSR6). Together, KEJI Index and its individual components appear to have differential effects on audit efficiency.

표면 다점 온도 측정을 이용한 용접 중 용융지 크기 추정

  • 최근 생산성 향상을 위해 용접 자동화가 실용 분야, 특히 GMAW 공정에서 활발히 진행되고있다. 그러 나, 현 수준의 용접 자동화는 완전 자동화에는 이르지 못하고 단지 주어진 용접 조건과 용접 경로로 용 접을 실행하는 로보트 시스템의 채용으로 인간의 작업을 대체하는 정도이다. 이와 같은 로보트 시스템 을 이용한 자동화에 있어서는 예기치못한 공정의 변동에 대처하기 위한 공정 중 용접질 모니터링이 더욱 중요해지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이 목적으로 표면의 다점 온도를 측정하여 이 중 한점의 온도와 이점 이점 부근의 온도 구배로써 용융지 크기 추정 지수를 구성하였다. 이 지수는 온도 변수들과 대응 용융지 크기 간에 다중 회귀 방법을 이용하여 최소 추정 오차가 발생하도록 설정된 수학적 모델이다. 제안된 지 수의 추정 성능을 평가하기 위해 용접 열전도 모델로 부터 얻은 용융지 크기와 표면 온도분포 data를 이용 하여 일련의 시뮬레이션 연구를 실시하였다. 이 과정에서 지수 구성 온도 변수들의 차수가 추정 성능에 미치는 영향과 온도 측정 위치에 따른 추정 성능의 민감도를 추정 오차와 오차 분산을 통해 분석하고, 지수를 사용하였을 때의 추정성능을 한점 온도를 이용하는 경우와 비교 평가하였다.

  • The process capability index is used to determine whether a production process is capable of producing items within a specified tolerance. Some process capability indices $C_p$, $C_{pk}$ and $C_{pm}$ have been of particular interest as useful management tools for tracking process performance. Most evaluations on process capability indices focus on statistical estimation and test of hypothesis. It is necessary to investigate their asymptotic correlationship among basic estimators ${\hat{C}}_p$, ${\hat{C}}_{pk}$ and ${\hat{C}}_{pm}$ of process capability indices $C_p$, $C_{pk}$ and $C_{pm}$. In this paper, we study their asymptotic correlationship for three process capability indices ${\hat{C}}_p$, ${\hat{C}}_{pk}$ and ${\hat{C}}_{pm}$ under bivariate normal distribution BN(${\mu}_x,{\mu}_y,{\sigma}^2_x,{\sigma}^2_y,{\rho}$). With some nonnormal processes, the asymptotic correlation coefficient of any two respective process capability index estimators could be established.
