Exploratory Study on Buyer-Supplier Relationship in Dongdaemun Market: From Buyer Perspectives of Fashion Stores (동대문시장의 구매자-공급자 관계에 관한 탐색적 연구: 동대문 패션 점포의 구매자적 시각을 중심으로)

  • Dongdaemun fashion market has been successfully positioned as a main hub for non-brand fashion product distribution in Korea. One of important competitive advantages of Dongdaemun market often quoted by retail researchers is an efficiently managed network system among supply chain members. This study aimed to examine the importance of buyer-supplier relationship elements and supplier properties from buyers' perspectives (small & very small-sized fashion stores in Dongdaemun market), and to identify the determinants of the relationship length between suppliers and buyers. Survey responses of 233 stores were analyzed using EQS 6.1 for Window and SPSSWIN 10.0. The findings could be summarized as follows: First, fashion stores perceived that right delivery as the most important factor, and geographically closeness, design capability, quality, and lower price followed in order. Second, the characteristics of stores such as location, wholesaling versus retailing focusing, monthly sales, and total business length all affected the perceived importance of buyer-supplier relationship. Third, design capacity, communication, power was identified as determinants of actual relationship length with a supplier, while communication and trust were found to be determinants of future expected relationship length.

  • 본 연구는 제조자(공급자)와 중간분배자로 구성된 공급사슬에서 시간에 따라 일정률로 퇴화하는 퇴화성 제품을 다루는 중간분배자의 신뢰성있는 재고보충정책을 분석하였다. 문제 분석을 위하여 제조자는 고객의 수요를 증대시키기 위한 수단으로 중간분배자로부터의 제품대금에 대하여 일정기간 동안 신용거래를 허용한다는 가정과 함께 수송량에 따라 할인되는 수송비를 고려하여 모형을 수립하였고, 중간분배자의 경제적 재고보충정책을 결정하기 위한 해법을 개발하였다.

  • 본 논문은 제품공급자, 중간분배자 그리고 고객으로 구성된 2 단계 공급사슬에서 공급자가 수요 증대를 목적으로 중간분배자에게 일정기간 동안 제품대금에 대한 지불연기를 허용하는 상황을 고려하여 중간분배자의 신뢰성있는 판매가격 및 재고보충정책을 결정하는 문제를 다루었다. 문제 분석을 위하여 고려하는 제품은 시간에 따라 일정률로 퇴화한다는 가정과 함께 수송량에 따라 할인되는 수송비를 고려하여 모형을 수립하였고, 중간분배자의 수익 증대를 위한 경제적 판매가격 및 재고보충정책 결정을 위한 해법을 개발하였다.

  • This study focuses on the relationship structure of SMEs with outsourcing based on buyer-supplier relationships and aims to test the role of trust management and mutual growth in the activities of SMEs. Trust management and mutual growth have a context in which the outsourcing type is determined through the company's slack resources, partnership relations, and buyer-supplier relationship. In this context, research hypotheses were set up, research model was designed and an empirical analysis was conducted by using structural equation modeling. For the empirical analysis, hypotheses were tested using data obtained from questionnaires of 206 SMEs nationwide. As a result, trust management and mutual growth have a significant effect on outsourcing type and performance, and mediation effect of cooperation relationship and buyer-supplier relationship was in the process.

  • Given the recent trend in business markets to seek and conscientiously develop long-term relationships, it has become increasingly important to understand why such long-term relationships are developed and how they are maintained. Despite their obvious importance, the antecedent conditions and processes of long-term relationships between industrial buyers and suppliers have not been systematically studied. In this research, I report a study of the antecedents of industrial buyer-seller relationships and the relational performance. What kinds of factors contribute to the development of long-term relationships\ulcorner How do these factors influence the corporate performance in the business markets\ulcorner The primary motivation of this study was drawn from an interest in answering these research questions. Managerial implications of the study results are also discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of innovation factors and relationship factors ASP service on customer performance for small firms using ASP service and Supplier trust analyzed the regulatory impact of the innovation factors and relationships factors on customer performance. Sample data was collected using questionnaire techniques, and statistical analysis used regression analysis. As a result of analysis, it is analyzed that the relative advantage of innovation factors and the influence of other companies have a positive effect on customer performance. In the relationship factors, the degree of information sharing was analyzed as a variable that positively influenced customer performance. However, the Flexibility of participants was analyzed as a variable that did not positively affect customer performance. As a result of analyzing the regulatory role of supplier trust, supplier trust is analyzed as a variable that plays a moderating role in customer performance along with innovation factors and relationship factors. Therefore, in the case of small enterprises using ASP service, it was found that innovation factors and information sharing factors are important factor to maximize customer performance. And that the trust of ASP vendors is a very important variable for customers.

  • 최근 들어 규제완화가 된 전력산업에는 전력시장과 수요자의 등장으로 전력시스템의 참여구성에서 큰 변화를 보이고 있다. 따라서 일방적인 에너지 공급이 주요 서비스였던 과거와는 달리 시장의 개설과 더불어 전력에너지 공급자가 다수 등장함에 따라 수요자에 대한 서비스의 개발이 필요한 실정이다. 이와 같은 수요자에 대한 서비스들은 전력공급이외에 수요자에게 제공할 수 있는 부가서비스를 의미한다. 따라서 수요자가 요구하는 전력 부가서비스의 개발은 다수가 존재하는 공급자에게 경쟁력 제고를 위한 필수요소가 될 수 있다. 현재 전력시장이 활성화된 해외의 경우에는 여러 가지의 부가서비스를 개발하고 있고 또한 운영도 하고 있다. 그러나 국내의 경우에는 아직 수요자를 위한 서비스의 제공보다는 전력시스템의 운영을 위한 신뢰도 기반의 공급자위주의 제한적인 서비스만이 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 수요자를 요구사항을 만족하고 또한 부가가치를 창출 할 수 있는 진정한 전력 부가서비스는 아직 개발되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 향후 전력서비스 제공시 경쟁력 제고의 필수 요소가 될 수 있는 부가서비스의 개발을 하기 위한 기반 구축을 위한 수요자의 서비스 관련 요구 및 필요사항을 조사 분석 하였다.

A study on the impact of host's personalized offline services and platform ease of use on shared homestay consumers' purchase intention

  • Different from previous studies, this study focuses on accommodation providers' personalization services and platform convenience variables, identifying how these prior factors affect perceived value and trust in accommodation services on a shared homestay platform, and how consumers' innovation plays a role in the process. Through this, we would like to identify the mechanism of interaction between accommodation service providers and consumers mediated by the shared homestay platform and present implications for a more customer-centered platform operation strategy. This study has an extended meaning for prior research, empirically confirming that the increase in personalized offline service quality of personalized hosts in shared economic models has a positive impact on perceived value and platform trust of consumers. At the same time, we confirm that under the shared economy model, consumers' innovation propensity plays an important positive role in regulating their perceived value aspects as well as their confidence in the platform.
