Linkage of GSIS and Expert System for Route Selection (노선선정을 위한 GSIS와 전문가체계의 연계)

  • Route selection needs the analysis function of GSIS to analyze and manipulate a lot of spatial information efficiently. Therefore, it needs the linkage of system requiring the knowledge and the experience of experts as a method that can estimate each quantitative route for an efficient route selection. In this study, the route selection model through construction and analysis procedure of position information using GSIS were presented, and route selection system linked with expert system was developed. This system is easy to be used and managed for presenting route alignment according to conditions as a graphic user interface environmental window system by applying three tiers based object-oriented method. Using GSIS, the various information required for route selections in database was constructed, the characteristics of subject area by executing three-dimensional terrain analysis was grasped effectively, and the control point through buffering, overlay and location operation was extracted. Three alternative routes between a beginning point and an end point inputted by route selection system were selected. Therefore, the applications of the route selection system are presented by applying this system to the real study area.

  • The spatial aggregation of data, in transportation and other planning processes, is an important theoretical consideration because the results of any analysis are not entirely independent of the delineation of zones. Moreover, using a different spatial aggregation may lead to different, and sometimes contradictory conclusions. Two criteria have been considered as important in designing zone systems. They are scale and aggregation. The scale problem arises because of uncertainty about the number of zones needed for a study and the aggregation problem arises because of uncertainty about how the data are to be aggregated to from a given scale problem. In a transportation study, especially in the design of traffic analysis zone(TAZ), the scale problem is directly related to the number dof zones and the aggregation problem involves spatial clustering, meeting the general requirements of forming the zones system such as equal traffic generation, convexity, and the consistency with the political boundary. In this study, first, the comparative study of delineating spatial units has been given. Second, a FORTRAN-based heuristic algorithm for designing TAZ based on socio-economic data has been developed and applied to the Korean peninsula containing 132 micro parcels. The vector type ARC/INFO GIS topological data mosel has been used to provise the adjacency information between parcels. The results, however, leave some to be desired in order to overcome such problems as non-convexity of the agglomerated TAZ system and/or uneven traffic phenomenon for each TAZ.

밀도 기반 공간 군집체계를 반영한 해양사고 위험 예측 모델 개발에 관한 연구

  • 해양사고는 도로교통과 달리 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 인명피해가 주로 발생하는 주요 사고의 치사율은 도로교통의 11.7배 이상이다. 해양사고는 외부 환경에 따라 사고 위치가 변하고 즉각적인 조치가 어려워 타 교통에 비해 대형 사고로 이어질 가능성이 매우 크다. 그러나 여전히 사고가 발생하고 난 후 대응하는 등 사후적 관리 단계에 무르고 있어 사고의 주요 요인을 사전에 식별·관리하는 선제적 관리단계로의 전환 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 해양사고 발생 지점 밀도 기반의 가변 공간 군집체계를 반영한 해양사고 예측모델을 개발하였다. 반복적인 공간 가산분석을 통해 밀도가 높을수록 작은 규모의 격자 체계를 가질 수 있도록 상세한 공간 군집체계를 구성하였으며, 단순 사고 위험도 예측뿐만 아닌 사고 인과관계를 설명할 수 있는 BN(Bayesian Network) 기반의 모형을 사용하여 해양사고 위험예측 모델을 개발하였다. 또한, Cost-of-Omission을 통해 해양사고 예측확률의 변화와 각 변수들의 영향력을 확인하였으며, 월별 해양사고예측 결과를 GIS를 활용하여 2D/3D 기반으로 시각화하였다.

Geospatial Information Extraction by using Digital Photogrammetry (수치사진측량을 이용한 지형공간정보 추출)

  • The study on the updating of the database of Geo-Spatial Information System that is necessary condition to GSIS operation have executed actively. In this study, digital orthophotos were produced by using the product of digital photogrammetry process and then multiscale digital orthophoto maps were generated tv the concept of image pyramids. The produced digital orthophoto has 2.092 meters accuracy compared to 1:5,000 topographic map. This digital orthophoto can be implemented in various Geo-Spatial Information System, providing valuable spatial reference for other objects in the database.

  • User movement is an important factor in determining the amount of the acquired knowledge and information about space contexts. A reasonable circulation plan affects the spatial usage, space revitalization, and activity satisfaction, and is ultimately a means to increase spatial usefulness. On the other hand, a disorderly circulation system causes negative experiences due to difficulties in wayfinding. This research identified the importance of a pedestrian circulation system analyzing the correlation between the spatial configuration index and pedestrian movement, and visitors' movement in the leisure space by using Space Syntax. The research area, Ouam-ri, where numerous guests visit this designated folk village, is a typical case in which a settlement space is used as a leisure space. There was a great deal of risk that visitors would get lost while wandering through the space. Also, it is difficult to induce visitors to tour economically even though the pedestrian circulation configuration of Ouam-ri forms the natural moving line because of its typical tree structure. Additionally adjusting and to supplementing the pedestrian system is required in order for the traditional village, a settlement space, to be used as a leisure space.

The Influence of High-Speed Railroad Construction on Territorial Organization : A Case Study of the French TGV Transportation Network (국토 공간조직에 미친 고속철도망 건설의 영향 : 프랑스 TGV 교통망의 사례를 중심으로)

  • This study analyzes the influence of the construction of a high-speed railroad on territorial organization in France. After development of a new transportation network, the French territorial organization has been largely modified. Many economic urban areas are modified by their position in the territorial hierarchy according to their condition of connection with the TGV network. At first, spatial convergence is the most important effect of the TGV network construction. Second, the development of a transportation network concentrated in the Paris area has influence as an intensified factor on metropolitan areas and as a weakening factor on middle- and small-sized cities. Thus, this system has risk in increasing territorial imbalance in France. Third, to implant an economic activity zone around new TGV stations, a new town or a new economic center starts to develop. This is going to grow into a second core outside of the old city center so that regional spatial organization is transformed from a mono-polarized(mono-centric) organization to a multi-polarized(polycentric) one. Lastly, the integration of the EU railroad system enhances the concentration of economic activity in European metropolitan areas as each metropolitan area tries to develop more competitive space for its rising position in the global urban hierarchical system.

  • 하천정보의 관리기관이 다양하고 정보의 표현 및 분석단위가 관리주체에 따라 다르며, 하천정보의 체계적이고 종합적인 정책자료 분석 제공 기능의 부재로 인한 이수 및 치수, 하천 환경 등을 고려한 국가수자원종합계획의 수립을 어렵게 해왔다. 하천 및 유역정보의 관리단위를 일원화하여 국가적으로 표준화시키고, 유역정보, 수문정보 등에 대해서 국가 수자원 정보망의 형성을 통해서 하천정보의 유기적인 공동이용을 추구해야 한다. 또한, 정보시스템 구축에 있어서 시스템간 중복을 방지하고 상호 연계가 원활히 이루어져 대정부, 대국민에 대한 종합적인 정보 제공이 가능하도록 추진을 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 하천정보 신뢰성 높고 다양한 하천정보 DB 구축을 통하여 보다 편리하고 유용한 시스템 사용 환경을 제공 및 지원하기 위한 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내외 하천정보서비스 구축사례를 분석하고 국내 실정에 맞는 하천정보서비스의 구축방안을 제시하였으며, 이를 위해서는 지속적인 중장기종합정보화전략계획 수립과 국내에 적합한 필수 데이터 항목도출, 데이터모델과 구축방법론 표준화로 체계적인 유지관리가 가능하도록 하여야 할 것이다. 또한 하천공간정보의 유통체계는 기존의 국가공간정보 유통 기구를 이용하는 것이 합리적인 것으로 사료된다.

  • Recently, the damage which is caused by human misfortune in the underground space have increased. However the regulation and law for the underground space safety is still poor. Therefore in this paper, we propose the scheme for the construction of safety management systems on underground multiplex facilities. We analyze the problem of the current law, and present the scheme for the underground shop fire fighting facility. It contains the tree structure to management the underground space according to the construction phase, the facility and immediacy equipment. This safety management system will rearrange the scattered underground space management system.

  • 사이버 공간이라는 새로운 국가 영역이 창조되었고, 고 영역에서의 각종활동이 국내는 물론 국제사회의 경쟁력에서 가장 중요한 국가 영역이 되고 있다. 반면에 사이버 공간에서의 침해사고 내지는 공격행위가 사이버 공간에서의 활동을 방해하고 사회의 혼란을 초래할 뿐 아니라 사이버 공간을 통해 국가 안보를 위협하는 테러, 정보전 양상이 뚜렷하게 증가하고 있다. 또 민주화와 인터넷의 개방 구조로 개인과 기업, 조직의 정보보호와 기밀 보호의 요구가 높아지고 있다. 이를 보호하고 국가 안보를 강화하는 사이버 공간의 안보체계를 제시한다.

  • This research is a part of the Intelligent Urban Facility Management project of the Korean Land Spatialization Group (KGSL). First, this study started from the investigation of existing u-City service model in order to drive essential components and considerations for the urban facilities management system. Considering the driven conclusions, this study finally proposed the new classification system of urban facilities management service model and the adequate application method in u-City.
