  • Currently different local governments and research institutes have established and using DB for each purposes on the heterogeneous database. Normally physical unification method is used in order to unify this geospatial database, but this takes too much time and resources and require periodic renewal and synchronization. Therefore, this research would like to present a logical integrated unification method based on attribute information of heterogeneous database, and a system design and construction method, in order to subjugate inefficiencies from the physical unification method. Through this a system that could supply user customized geospatial database was established and verified the functionality using the road data of an actual region.

  • As various portable digital devices are developed, the space of the TV audience is expanding. We propose a structure of broadcasting control in VOD service in which viewers can resume the viewing of digital broadcasting contents in different devices after they have stopped the viewing to move to another place. Then we design a session and resource management system of VOD for this control. In particular, we design the session management of each consumer and simulate the seamless VOD connection model.

  • Recently, as warehouses became automated, workers are trying to maximize storage efficiency as well as work efficiency. So, using mobile-rack which has wheels or rails at the bottom and minimizes dead space by removing extra passages between racks is rapidly rising as a notable technology. So, this paper seeks how to manage optimally cryogenic warehouse using mobile-rack. At first, routes of mobile-rack and operation vehicle will be synchronized and storage location will be decided with seasonal demand. After that, it will be simulated considering additional factors.

  • Recently, there are several attempts to save temporal, spatial and paper resources through mobile teleconference. However, present application-based mobile solutions have limited access, and are occasionally not working because of its operating system dependency. In recent times, several researchers attempt to develop mobile teleconference systems that can operate in all operating systems. It is still required to install proprietary applications to sync screens in user device. In this paper, we propose a full duplex and real-time data mirroring technology based on hybrid web that allows syncing screens without application installation, and operates in all mobile devices.

  • In order to monitor in large area of a ship without any concerns of spacial environments, there can be the use of many sensors that support wireless network technologies. Through the deployment of the wireless sensors and their autonomous network formations, the status of a ship can be easily monitored in real time. Moreover, if all the sensors are timely synchronized with each other, the locations and the moving directions of certain events can be estimated. Thus, the time synchronization amongst wireless sensors are crucial. In this paper, we propose an algorithm which supports reduced message transmissions between the sensors for synchronization.

  • Recently, as digital broadcasting and internet are spreaded out of the world, we can easily use informations with less restrictions of time and space. According to the current trends, concerns for the ways of representing multimedia data has been rapidly increased, and users demand the services with integrated document that takes not only simple text and image but also time varying audio-visual data. Therefore, in 1998, W3C presented an international standard, SMIL in order to solve multimedia object representation and synchronization problems. By using SMIL, various multimedia elements can be integrated as a multimedia document with proper view in a space and time. Using this SMIL document, we can create new internet radio broadcasting service that delivers not only audio data but also various text, image and video. In this paper, we describe on a SMIL document editor for the common users to be able to represent time varying multimedia data with special layout and synchronization of time and space.

  • 항공사진이나 인공위성 영상을 이용하여 DEM을 생성하는 연구는 전통적으로 사진측량학 분야에서 이루어져 왔다. 즉, 항공기 및 위성을 이용하여 획득한 입체의 영상자료를 이용하여 DEM을 생성하는 기법은 전통적으로 행해져 왔고 최근에 들어서는 LIDAR를 이용하여 1m 급 이상의 정밀 DEM이 획득되고 있다. 그러나 자국 이외 지역에 대한 DEM 자료를 획득하는 일은 위성 및 항공기를 이용한 입체쌍의 영상자료, 기준점 등의 자료를 얻기가 힘들기 때문에 공간해상도가 90m인 USGS에서 제공하는 SRTM자료를 활용해야 하는 등 제한적이다. 이에, 본 연구에서는 공간해상도 15m의 DEM 생성이 가능한 ASTER 영상을 이용하여 중국지역에 대한 정밀 DEM을 생성하고자 하였다. ASTER 영상은 가시광선대, 적외선대 및 열밴드의 정보를 제공하고 있을 뿐만 아니라 DEM 제작을 위하여 위성진행 경로에 정방향 및 역방향의 입체 영상을 제공하고 있다. 이러한 ASTER 영상의 센서 정보와 접합점을 이용하여 DEM을 생성하였고, 이를 SRTM 자료와 동기화 하여 두 자료를 비교 분석하였다.

  • 최근에 소자와 제어기술의 발달로 이 영구자석 동기 전동기는 정밀 제어 모터로는 표준이 되었고, 많은 기기에서 사용되고 있다. 최근에는 정밀 제어는 기본이고 유지 보수와 설치공간의 문제로 제어기가 점점 더 소형화되고 있다. 그러나 상용으로 출시되는 많은 PMSM 서보 드라이버가 범용으로 제작되어 부피가 크고 모터와 1:1 연결을 기본으로 만들어져 협소한 공간에 설치가 어려웠다. 본 논문에서는 PMSM 서보 드라이버의 전원 부분을 분리하여 여러 서보 드라이버가 공통으로 전원을 사용하도록 하는 등 구조적으로 개선 및 변경하여 다축 서보 드라이버를 소형으로 구현하였다.

  • 보다 현실감 있는 가상환경을 제공하기 위하여 시각정보 외에 힘의 정보를 사용자에게 제공할 필요가 있으며, 이러한 힘 반영은 햅틱장치에 의해서 수행된다. 일반적으로 영상 제시기에 의한 영상정보는 낮은 갱신율을 갖는 반면에, 햅틱장치는 상대적으로 높은 갱신율로 인간에게 힘정보를 제공하게 되므로, 이들 정보 간의 동기화가 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 가시모델의 원형을 일반화시켜서 햅틱장치에 전달하고, 영상 제시기의 갱신율과는 상관 없이 햅틱장치 내에서 임의의 구속공간을 만들어서 힘피드백을 수행하는 방법에 대해서 논의하고자 한다.

  • Most of the previous game development has proceeded in the approaches of the temporal-oriented synchronization because of producing game objects by using general authoring tools, and ad hoc or trial and error methods has been devised for representation of spatial concept. This paper is a study on the unification notation for spatio-temporal synchronization to conquest this fault. First of all, we classify game space as temporal object, spatial object, absolute/relative spatio-temporal space. The spatio-temporal relationships are divided into temporal extent, temporal location, spatial extent, and spatial location. In the paper the temporal and spatial relationships of game scene are defined to represent the synchronization, and we propose new unification notation by temporal and spatial concept to represent two concepts putting emphasis on space. Their relationships are presented on 3D by creating time axis related with time in scene unit of the two dimensional plane in the pivot on space. The usability of this representation method are shown by applying examples of game scenario.
