A Study on the Shortening Effect of Train Running Time as Railway curve sections improvement (철도곡선부 개량에 따른 열차운행시간 단축효과에 관한 연구)

  • for shortening of running time on existing line, speed up railways feel strongly the necessity of it, for fully realizing a role of transportation system, for human life style is high. and increasing of time value. Especially curved lines zone have crucial effects on the speed of train, in case the shortening of running time, it is thought, speed up in curved lines zone, considering a character of route alignment in korea, we obtain saving time using lateral force index for safety running of train and comfortable ride of passengers. The results of this study show that all curved zone improvements for the shortening of the train running time more efficiently than extension of transition curve.

Analysis of Radio-Wave Propagation Characteristics in Curved Tunnel (곡선 터널 내에서 전파특성 분석)

  • In this paper, we present the analysis of radio wave propagation characteristics in curved tunnels. Tunnel propagation models are performed in two cases which are using ray-tracing method for straight tunnels and geometrical optics extension to the standard hybrid waveguide model for curved ones. By regression analysis for measured power based on distance between the transmitter and the received antenna in tunnels that have 3.5 m $\times$ 6 m cross section and limited wall depth path loss are 0.19 dB/m for straight section and 0.68 dB/m for curved ones. By comparing model analysis with measurement in tunnels, it has been shown that the simulated results of tunnel propagation models are similar to the measured values.

  • 4대의 제어점에 의해 정의되는 3차 Bezier 곡선을 구간적 (piecewise) 2차 Bezier 곡선으로 근사 하는 기하적인 알고리듬을 제시한다. 또한 제시한알고리듬의 오차해석을 통하여 수정된 알 고리듬을 구성한다. 분확방법을 동시에 사용하여 주어진 허용오차 이내의 구간적 2차 근사 곡선을 구할수 있다. 제시한 알고리듬은 오차해석을 이용하여 필요한 분활의 수행회수를 미 리 결정할수있는장점을 가지고있다.

  • 연속 측정된 수위자료를 유량자료로 환산하는 방법중의 하나인 수위-유량관계곡선식은 국내에서 널리 사용된다. 현장에서 측정된 유량자료로 개발되는 수위-유량관계곡선식(이하 곡선식)은 일반적으로 측정성과의 정확도가 그 정도를 좌우하지만, 개발과정에서 개발자의 주관적인 판단에 의해 좌우되기도 한다. 정확한 곡선식을 개발하기 위해 개발자는 수리학적 특성(수위-${\sqrt{Q}}$, 수위-유속, 수위-단면적 등)을 검토하고, 수문학적 특성(상하류 관계, 유출분석 등)을 검토하여 최종 곡선식을 결정하게 된다. 이러한 여러 검토들 중에 수위-${\sqrt{Q}}$ 검토는 비록 정성적인 검토임에도 불구하고 곡선식의 구간분리, 기간분리, 성과의 이상유무, GZF(Gauge Height of Zero flow) 등을 확인할 수 있는 방법으로 실무에 많이 이용된다. 대부분의 곡선식은 측정성과를 기반으로 개발되어 내삽부분에서는 그 정확도가 상당히 높다고 할 수 있지만 외삽부분은 구간분리의 위치, GZF 등에 따라 큰 차이를 보일 수 있다. 그러나 기존의 수위-${\sqrt{Q}}$ 에 의한 정성적인 검토는 개발자의 숙련도에 따라 곡선식의 정확도가 좌우되는 경향이 있다. 본 연구에서는 수위-${\sqrt{Q}}$ 검토의 이론적 배경을 살펴보고 일본 곡선식의 사례를 응용하여 수위-${\sqrt{Q}}$ 검토의 정량화를 시도하였다. 또한 보다 객관적인 구간분리 위치 결정 및 GZF산정의 방법을 제시하여 개발과정에서의 오류를 최소화 할 수 있고 이는 정확한 유량자료의 생산으로 이어질 것으로 기대된다.

  • According to the present highway design criteria, there are minimum standards which re ade from special design speeds. If some highways are satisfied the standards, it regards he highway as safety. In reality, however, most drivers drive a car at different speed compared with design speed. It is very dangerous for drivers especially at transition sections between curve and horizontal curve sections. Hence, this study calculated the rate of changing and horizontal acceleration at each section. Moreover, this study evaluated thesafety of design at curve transition sections and then calculated lateral acceleration and curve radii. This study found the minimum standards which are using as basic safety standards are not appropriate for measuring driver's safety.

  • The cant has setted up wrong in a part of railway curve sections, occasionally confusion occur in curve maintenance. In this study, it is suggest effective maintenance method in railway curve section about the radius of curvature, cant successive diminution length, according to the investigation of cant value, compare and analysis with straight decrease in order theory.

  • The reinforced earth method is financially viable. Furthermore, it overcomes environmental limitations and is therefore employed in retaining walls, slopes, foundations, roads, embankments, and other structures. However, in some cases, reinforced retaining walls are not strong enough in the curved sections and can collapse. Such mishaps are believed to occur because of an unsatisfactory analysis of the curved sections of a reinforced retaining wall. Accordingly, with the aim of investigating the workability and structural safety of curved sections of various types, this study investigates the differences in the estimated horizontal displacements of curved sections of various types and subsequently uses this information to study and analyze preliminary data so that appropriate measures can be taken to resolve alignment issues. The results of an experiment reveal that when a load is applied to curved sections of both concave and convex types, the largest horizontal displacement occurs at the center of the section. In the concave form, the earth pressure force is directed inward, whereas in the convex form, this force is directed outward. As a result, the horizontal displacement in convex forms is larger than that in concave forms. Convex reinforced earth structures are subjected to earth pressures as well as lateral earth pressure, therefore horizontal displacements in convex curved sections is larger than that of concave curved sections.

  • 본 논문은 열차 곡선부 노선에서 발생하는 진동크기의 예측을 위한 것으로, 곡선부를 주행하는 틸팅차량에 의해 발생하는 진동크기를 수치해석적으로 예측한 결과이다. 곡선부를 주행하는 틸팅차량에 의한 진동의 특징으로, 진동의 방향성분을 들 수 있다. 진동의 방향성분은 직선 구간에서는 수직성분이 월등히 우세하나, 곡선구간에서는 수평성분이 크게 증가한다. 틸팅차량의 경우, 일반열차에 비해 곡선구간에서의 높은 속도로 인해 수평성분이 크게 발생한다. 따라서 틸팅차량의 주행에 의한 인근 지역에서의 진동환경을 파악하기 위해서는 수직성분 뿐 아니라 수평성분의 정확한 파악도 필요하다. 이러한 진동의 방향성분은 근거리 또는 원거리 영역에 따라 달라져, 이의 파악을 위한 연구가 필요하다.

A Study on the Application of Extension Method in Railway Transition Curved Zone Considering Field Status (지형여건을 고려한 철도 완화곡선 연장방법의 적용성에 관한 연구)

  • Railway curved zone have crucial effects on the speed of train. Length of transition curve is one of the important factor for alignment compatibility estimation in this sections, this value is decided by running speed and Cant. In this study, the extension method of transition curve is evaluated, based on the alignment of Jang Hang-Line, investigated field conditions of the sections in the curves exist. This research result show that changing of transition curve was proved by necessary to approximately two thirds of the curved sections, and method of fixing central point of track centerline and changing radius of curvature minimize the maximum shift in track centerline and deviation of radius, and also may be effective method for alignment suitability and speed up in case overall improvement is difficult.
