Approximation on the Distribution of the Overshoot by the Property of Erlang Distribution in the M/En/1 Queue (M/En/1 대기모형에서 얼랑분포의 성질을 이용한 오버슛의 분포에 대한 근사)

  • We consider an $M/E_n/1$ queueing model where customers arrive at a facility with a single server according to a Poisson process with customer service times assumed to be independent and identically distributed with Erlang distribution. We concentrate on the overshoot of the workload process in the queue. The overshoot means the excess over a threshold at the moment where the workload process exceeds the threshold. The approximation of the distribution of the overshoot was proposed by Bae et al. (2011); however, but the accuracy of the approximation was unsatisfactory. We derive an advanced approximation using the property of the Erlang distribution. Finally the newly proposed approximation is compared with the results of the previous study.

Priority of the Government Policy to support Industrial Security - Focus on a companies' demand and efficiency of policy - (산업보안 지원 정책 결정의 우선 순위 - 기업 수요와 효율성을 중심으로 -)

  • This study surveyed the subject of companies' industrial security on priorities of the government policy for the confidentiality of corporate and the necessity of expanding the government support for the industrial security. In determining the priority, we should consider all opinions of companies, individuals, societies, and governments that associated with the confidentiality. Especially in industrial security, companies are the most significant beneficiaries and consumers of security policy and it would be the basis for supporting on policy-making. As a result, we analyzed the 50 valid questionnaires collected from security personnel of Korean corporations and 'Enhance support for education and promotion of human resource (On/Off-Line)', 'Establish Security management and Security measures', and 'Enhance Security professionals status via qualifications/certifications' are shown as 1st, 2nd, 3rd priority of government policy to protect Corporate confidential information including its customer information. All respondents of the study says that the Government support for Industrial Security should be enlarged.

Analyses of the Domestic Research Trends and Future Research Directions of the Pure Play Internet Banks through Literature Review (문헌분석을 통한 인터넷전문은행에 관한 국내 연구동향 및 향후 연구방향 고찰)

  • Major objective of the study are to analyze the trends of domestic research on pure play internet banks and to propose the future research directions of the ares. To achieve the objectives, this study first summarize the basic concepts and current status of pure play internet banks, establish analysis criteria, and analyze 56 papers based on the criteria. Major research results and future research directions are summarized as follows: non-empirical research should utilize mathematical/conceptual model rather than opinion/guidance, and empirical research should employ secondary data analysis method; in case of the individual level analysis, research on the bank personnel, and on use/outcome of customers should be performed; more organizational level studies should be performed; and in case of societal level research, impact of the pure play internet banks should be analyzed in depth.

  • 최근 지식정보 사회는 IT가 핵심 구성요소인 스마트 사회로 변모하고 있으며, 인간과 사물 간 의사소통에서 사물과 사물 간 의사소통까지 확장하고, IT간 융합에서 나아가 타 산업과 융합하는 지능형 사회로 나아가고 있다. '공간'에 대한 정보는 '시간'과 함께 인간이 생활하는데 있어 반드시 알아야 하는 가장 근본적인 정보로써, 공간에서 발생하는 정보를 기반으로 다른 사람들과 소통을 하고 목적을 충족함으로써 삶의 질을 향상시킨다. 현대 사회에서 공간정보는 중요한 인프라 가치를 증대시키므로 새로운 사회 패러다임 전환을 위한 필수적인 요소라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 수재해 정보 플랫폼 구현에 앞서 사용자의 니즈를 만족시키고 효용가치 증대가 가능하도록 공간정보서비스 활용 방안 연구를 하고자 한다. 공간정보는 시대의 흐름에 따라 형태 및 생산?활용방법이 달라졌으나 항상 중요한 정보로 인식되어 왔으며, 미래 공간정보는 단순 콘텐츠 영역을 뛰어넘어 상황(Context)정보까지 범위를 확장하였다. (1)미국의 공간정보는 시설, 기록관리 및 지도와 같은 공공분야에서 현재는 업무통합관리, 의사결정지원 등에서 데이터 웨어하우스(Data Warehouse)로서의 역할 담당한다. (2)일본은 아시아 최고의 원천기술력을 보유하고 있으며, 높은 수준의 GIS, RS(위성항측), ITS(지능형 교통 시스템) 기술을 기반으로 하고 있다. (3)영국은 지리정보시스템과 공공서비스를 접목하여 시민의 요구에 부응하는 고객맞춤형서비스 제공을 국가정보화의 우선과제로 선정하고 있다. (4)우리나라는 초고속통신망과 모바일 기술 등 세계 최고 수준의 인프라를 확보하고 있어, 이러한 인프라 기반융 복합 공간정보서비스를 이용하는데 안정적인 기반을 확보하고 있다. 본 연구는 국내외 공간정보서비스의 패러다임 변화 및 추진 동향 등을 제시하였으며, 수재해정보 플랫폼 활용에 능동적 적극적으로 접근할 수 있는 기반을 마련하였다. 공간정보서비스를 활용하여 커뮤니케이션 강화, 수재해 정보 서비스의 효율성 증진, 재해부문 선진화 측면에서 발전적 영향을 미칠 수 있으며, 특히 각종 현안에 대한 미래 예측 및 대응에 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

  • With the increase in the use of mobile banking service, mobile banking has become an attractive target to attackers. Even though many security measures are applied to the current mobile banking service, some threats such as physical theft or penetration to a mobile device from remote side are still remained as unsolved. With aiming to fill this void, we propose a novel approach to prevent e-financial incidents by analyzing mobile device user's input patterns. This approach helps us to distinguish between original user's usage and attacker's usage through analyzing personal input patterns such as input time-interval, finger pressure level on the touch screen. Our proposed method shows high accuracy, and is effective to prevent the e-finance incidents proactively.

A study on Digital-based Strategic Management on the New Normal Era (뉴노멀 시대의 디지털 기반 전략경영에 관한 연구)

  • This study decided that it was necessary to present a strategy for survival in the new normal era and securing competitive advantage, and tried to suggest a management strategic alternative. To this end, this study derives the new normal caused by Corona 19 and the business environment change trend and response strategy type caused by this through literature research and intensive interviews of 10 corporate CEOs. This study limited the scope of the study to the digital-based management and business-level strategic alternatives among strategic alternatives that can be deployed in various fields and areas. Business structure redesign strategy, resilience reinforcement strategy, ESG management strategy, and digital transformation strategy were suggested as alternatives to corporate-level digital-based strategies. As an alternative to business-level digital-based strategies, a digital strategy for industrial structure leading, a competitive strategy for digital innovation, an open innovation platform strategy, and a customer value-oriented strategy were suggested. It contributed in that it was an attempt to systematize a digital-based strategy more and it contributed in that it can support companies who have to deal with difficult situations wisely to implement strategic responses more systematically.

A Study on the Relationships between Users' Characteristics and Shopping Site Commitment in Mobile Internet Environment

  • While there have been a lots of researches focusing on the commitment to shopping site in online commerce area, few studies suggested the results on the relationships between users' characteristics including demographic and shopping characteristics and commitment to mobile shopping site. Therefore, this study investigates whether the level of mobile shopping site commitment will vary by users' characteristics such as gender, age, shopping time, and shopping scale. This study suggests, from the statistical analyses on 230 questionnaires, that there are differences in level of shopping site commitment among the respondents grouped by age, shopping time, and shopping scale except for gender. The study proposes various implications for future research on the management of shopping site commitment in mobile Internet environment.

  • Recently, concepts of the Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing have been introduced and the limits of individual or team development policies are being reviewed. Also, a lot of latest technology source codes have been opened to the public, and related studies are being conducted based on them. Meanwhile, the company is applying the strengths of the open source software development methodology to proprietary software development, and publicly announcing support for open source development methodology. In this paper, we introduced several software development methodology such as open source model, inner source model, and the similar DevOps model, which have been actively discussed recently, and compared their characteristics and components. Rather than claiming the excellence of a specific model, we argue that if the software development policy of an individual or affiliated organization is established according to each benefit, they will be able to achieve software quality improvement while satisfying customer requirements.

  • Improvement of productivity and efficient process management need to define the problem of the previous work. If it takes long time to gather necessary information, it becomes difficult to continuously manage processes to satisfy customers' needs and to enhance business efficiency. This paper proposes methods and a context awareness system for decision making to solve problems originated in management of manufacturing process through real-time information acquisition. We implement the context awareness by suggesting decision logics that automatically classify works with acquired information. And we also implement a system for case study which makes workers recognize problems and notifies instructions to them. Consistency between real object and stored data and continuous process monitoring with this system could find inefficient resources or delayed works, resolve them and improve processes efficiency.

Suggestion on Modified Models of Service Blueprint for Product-Service System (제품-서비스 시스템을 위한 서비스블루프린트 수정모형의 제안)

  • Service blueprint is used to show the interaction between each service element at a glance and to understand the flow of the whole service centering on the customer at the stage of proposing a new service system. It was proposed in the 1980s before online business was developed. However, current services are changing in a way that provides various forms and channels, and the service blueprint seems to be not enough. To reflect this problem consciousness, we selected PSS among diversified service business models and propose a service blueprint type optimized for each business. After collecting 137 PSS cases to be used in the research, we made a business matrix and classified the cases and selected two representative cases to conduct two experiments. As a result, six types of service blueprint corresponding to the matrix could be derived: online service type, online remote support type, self rental type, online order type, traditional type, and offline support type. The validity of the proposed types of service blueprint was verified to confirm the suitability of those types.
