A Meta-Analysis on the Variables Related with Job Satisfaction of Social Workers (사회복지사의 직무만족 영향 요인에 관한 메타분석)

  • This study conducted a meta-analysis on the studies related with job satisfaction of social workers. For data analysis, journals, theses, and dissertations published between 1990 and 2013 were reviewed systematically. Through this process, this study calculated average effect size of each variable and explored moderator variables. The study results were as follows. First, this study significantly identified 27 variables related with job satisfaction of social workers. Second, the results indicated that large effect size variables included empowerment, organizational climates, supervision, relationship with boss, leadership, social support, work environment, reward system factor, self-esteem, work autonomy. Third, moderator analyses were conducted utilizing characteristics of organization. Moderate effects were identified in the following variables including role conflict, specialization, recognition, promotion, relationship with peer, supervision. Finally, the implications of the study findings were discussed.

Impact of Response-Based Learning in Physical Education Class on Participation Attitude (체육수업에서 반응중심 학습법이 참여태도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to analyze the impact of motivation through Response-Based Learning (RBL) on elementary students' attitude of participation and change before and after a Physical Education class and provide a perspective on the understanding of the practice of the PE class. For this purpose, this study selected 115 students in fifth grade in N. Elementary School located in the C. region as subjects, regardless of their sex. An exploratory factorial analysis was conducted with the subjects, and they were analyzed, applying a product-moment coefficient to examine the similarity between the factors. As shown in the result of this study, it is necessary to promote student-centered education instead of one-sided cramming education. Also, it is important to consider and convergence on apply the factors of learning before and after the class to be able to contribute to students' active and positive participation in the PE class.

Effect of Al2O3 Filler Addition on Sintering Behavior and Physical Characteristics of BaO-B2O3-ZnO Glass Ceramic System (BaO-B2O3-ZnO 결정화 유리계에서 Al2O3 Filler의 첨가에 따른 소결거동 및 물성변화)

  • Suitable compositions which are sinterable at low temperature in the $BaO-B_{2}O_{3}-ZnO$ glass system were investigated as a function of the ratio between BaO and ZnO. The effect of $Al_{2}O_3$ filler on densification and physical characteristics of the glass was also examined. When the amount of $Al_{2}O_3$ filler increased, the densification rate and the values of dielectric constant, thermal expansion coefficient and hardness in the glass-filler composites decreased gradually. The decreasing rate of the physical properties accelerated when fine $Al_{2}O_3$ filler was used. However, the fracture toughness of the composite rather increased due to the existence of filler particles and pores which effectively suppressed crack propagation with addition of fine $Al_{2}O_3$ filler.

  • This empirical study focused on examining the relationship between transactional transformational leadership style and power of construction project manager and the organizational effectiveness, respectively, and the moderating role of power between leadership and the organizational effectiveness. A 790 numbers useful questionnaires were obtained from the stuffs working at the construction sites excluding project managers. Internal consistency test using Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted for the reliability and validity of the scales respectively. And cluster analysis and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) were conducted to test the hypotheses. The results and implications are as follows. First, the leadership styles of project managers influence positively the subordinates' job satisfaction but not organizational commitment in construction project. Second, the power styles of project managers influence positively the subordinates' job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Third, the leadership styles of the project managers influence positively the subordinates' job satisfaction and organizational commitment by the power moderating role. The implication of this result is important because of the fact that the transformational leadership can be useful even in the construction projects. And the moderating role of the project manage's power suggests.

  • Many adaptive beamforming methods have been studied for interference cancellation and speech signal enhancement in telephone conference and auditorium. Main aspect of adaptive beamforming methods for speech signal processing is different from radar, sonar and seismic signal processing because desire output signal should be apt to the human ear. Considering that phase of speech is quite insensible to the human ear, Sondhi proposed a nonlinear constrained optimization technique whose constraint was on the magnitude transfer function from the source to the output. In real environment the phase response of the speech signal affects the human auditorium system. So it is desirable to design linear phase system. In this paper, linear phase beamformer is proposed and sample processing algorithm is also proposed for real time consideration Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm yields more consistent beam patterns and deep nulls to the noise direction than Sondhi's.

  • The PID controller type autopilot is applied to support shipmaneuvering for course-keeping and heading control. A control constants of autopilot system should be evaluated by promoting energy loss (fuel consumption) from the view point of economic efficiency of the ship. This paper is obtained control constants of autopilot system from the RCGA pursued the minimum energy loss. In addition, the controller which is designed involves a constrained optimization problem. The performance of the proposed method is demonstrated through a set of simulation.

  • The Genetic Algorithm has been frequently applied by many researchers as one of the population surface modelling tool in estimating the regional population based on the gridded spatial system. Taking the East-Hwasung area as the case, this study first builds a gridded population data based on the KLIS and eAIS databases as well as municipal population survey data, and then constructs the attribute values of the explanatory variables by way of GIS tools. The GA model is run to maximize its fitness function measuring the correlation coefficient between the observed and predicted values of the 70 population cells. It is shown that the GA output predicted reasonably consistent and meaningful coefficient estimates for the explanatory variables of the model.

  • This study is to clarify the effect of security majoring students' loyalty on department to future direction and job choice to suggest basic data for supporting student to prepare more active school life and future. The research object is security majoring male/female students among Y university in Gyeonggi-do Y city, K university in Gyeongsangbuk-do G city, k university in Gyeonggi-do S city between 1 Fab 2012 to 20 Aug 2012 and we randomly extracted the sample. In this research, we performed exploratory factor analysis and used principal components analysis and selected varimax direct rotation method to prove the reasonability of the contents. We then use the Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ value to measure the trust coefficient and during the process, the repeated or questions lack of correlation were deleted with judgment of researcher to improve trusty and reasonability.

The Structural Relationships Between College Student's Altruistic Behavior and Related Variables in the Times of Convergence (융복합 시대의 대학생의 이타행동과 관련변인들의 구조적 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of moral elevation and self control on the relationship between moral identity, character strengths, family strengths, and altruistic behavior in the times of convergence. The collected data were analyzed by SEM. The results of this study were as follows: First, moral self has indirect effect on altruistic behavior through moral elevation and self control in turn, and character strengths, have indirect effect on altruistic behavior through moral elevation and self control and moral elevation, self control in turn, and family strengths have indirect effect on altruistic behavior through self control. Second, it was found that there was a significant gender difference in the structural weights of character strengths and moral elevation.

A Study on the Reliability and Validity of a Korean translated Multidimensional Experiential Avoidance Questionnaire (한국어판 다차원적 체험회피 질문지의 신뢰도 및 타당도 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to translate and examine the reliability and validity of Multidimensional Experiential Avoidance Questionnaire (MEAQ) developed by $G{\acute{a}}mez$, Chmielewski, Kotov, Ruggero, and Watson. 285 college students completed the MEAQ. Exploratory factor analysis supported the six factor structure of the 50 items. Internal consistency of 50 items was .91. 315 college students completed the MEAQ. Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed six factor structure of 50 items. 275 students of them completed also Acceptance-Action Questionnaire II, White Bear Suppression Inventory, Toronto Alexithymia Scale, Neuroticism, avoidant coping, CES-D, Beck Anxiety Inventory, Psychological Well-Being Scale, Satisfaction with Life Scale. Correlations between MEAQ and these scales supported the convergent, discriminant, and criterion-related validity.
