  • 지식 서비스 산업 중에서 경영 컨설팅 산업은 타 산업으로의 파급효과를 통해 얻을 수 있는 부가가치가 막대하므로 우리나라의 성장을 위해서는 필수적인 산업이다. 그러나 국외에 비해 국내의 컨설팅 관련 연구는 많이 부족한 것이 현실이다. 본 연구는 성공적인 컨설팅을 결정짓는 요인들로 컨설팅 관련자들의 특성을 고려하였다. 컨설턴트의 특성, 의뢰기업 측 컨설팅 프로젝트 팀장의 특성을 성공적인 컨설팅 결정 요인으로 하여 실증분석을 하였다. 분석을 위하여 한국경영기술컨설턴트 협회에 소속하여 활동하는 경영 컨설턴트 172명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 이를 바탕으로 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 분석 결과 컨설턴트의 역량은 물론 의뢰기업 측 팀장의 역량도 컨설팅 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The main purpose of this study is to investigate influence of sheltered workshop management consulting on management performance and reflect its outcome in order to improve the rationalization of management at sheltered workshop. The major results of this study that are summarized as follows: First of all, executive of sheltered workshop has expected management consulting. Management performance consist of business management, marketing, accounting/finance, production/operations. Marketing appears to have the highest expectations of these. Second, executive of sheltered workshop has expected management performance. Management performance consists of customer satisfaction Performance, internal process performance, financial performance. Internal process performance appears to have the highest expectations of these. Third, executive of sheltered workshop recognize management consulting that affects customer satisfaction performance. In particular, appears to have the greatest impact on the field of business management. Fourth, management consulting performance of sheltered workshop affects management consulting that affects internal process Performance. In particular, business management, production/operations appear to have the highest affectability better than others of these. Fifth, executive of sheltered workshop recognize management consulting that affects financial performance. In particular, business management, production/operations appear to have the highest affectability better than others of these. Sixth, executive of sheltered workshop recognize management consulting that affects customer satisfaction performance, internal process performance, financial performance. customer satisfaction performance appear to have the highest, financial performance appear to have the lowest.

An Analysis on the Competency of School Management Consultants : The Perceptions of Professional and Prospective Consultants (학교경영컨설턴트의 역량 분석 : 전문가와 예비컨설턴트의 인식을 중심으로)

  • This study aims to analyze school management consultants' competency from the perspective of professional and prospective consultants and to draw implications for their competency building and work. To achieve the purpose of this study, an importance survey and a retention survey of school management consultants' competency were performed. The main results are as follows: school management consultants' key competencies are concept, background and principle of school management consulting, process and method of school management consulting, contents of school management, listening and empathy, communication, problem solving, teamwork and collaboration, interpersonal skills, authenticity, commitment. Professional and prospective consultants' perception of school management consultants' competency were different, and importance and retention of prospective consultants' competency changed through the consulting experience. It is significant that the result of this study can be reflected in school management consultants' training and qualification and conform the 'learning' principle of school management consulting.

Effect of Consulting Firm's Organizational Effectiveness on Customer Orientation (컨설팅기업의 조직효과성이 고객지향성에 미치는 영향)

  • The consulting industry is also growing as the use of management consulting increases as the importance of management strategies for the survival of companies due to rapid environmental changes is highlighted. As a result, competition among consulting firms is intensifying, and securing competitiveness is essential. This study tried to confirm the method of securing competitiveness of consulting firms from the perspective of organizational competitiveness through organizational effectiveness. As the consulting service is a knowledge service field, an empirical analysis was conducted for consultants who performed it because professional human resources were a core technology. Exploratory factors, reliability analysis, and regression analysis were performed using SPSS 22.0. As a result of a study on the effect of consultants' organizational effectiveness on customer orientation, it was found that the consultant's organizational commitment and organizational performance had a significant effect. It was possible to confirm the importance of intrinsic motivation to secure the competitiveness of consulting firms in the changing environment. This presented practical implications for organizational management regarding the continuous growth of consulting firms.

  • It has been over a decade since the business consulting services by SMBA started in order to build up competitiveness through supporting small and medium enterprises under the business environment of globalization. No matter how there is no post empirical data of evaluation. Therefore, this study is focused on analysing the practical performance of Coupon System Management Consulting(CSMC) by comparing the financial condition for a few years before and behind since the companies have been involving in. As a result, the statistical significances of research hypotheses were rejected for the most part. Moreover, the growth rates of sales and total assets of which each of them is one of the indicators concerning growth and activity, are negatively significant, which means that CSMC the needs comprehensive consideration about its efficiency and in all its aspects.

  • Management consulting by a bank is expected to have a win-win relationship to the mutual development of the banks and client firms. Previous studies also claimed that consulting had a positive impact on the competitiveness and business performance of the firms. Nevertheless, few empirical studies were found to analyze the relationship and explain the result whether consulting had really enhanced the competitiveness and performance of the businesses after consulting. The present paper has empirically analyzed the impact of a management consulting by a bank on the business performance of the client firms and on the contribution to the bank. In terms of client firms, the financial results of the client companies such as stability, profitability and growth potential were compared before and after the consulting; in terms of the bank, the changes in the last three-month average outstanding of deposits and loans were measured and verified in order to measure the contribution of the client firms to bank. A significant effect was confirmed in this study of the consulting on the client firms' the debt ratio-an item of financial stability and sales growth-an item of the growth potential.

The Effects of the Competence of Consultant on the Consulting performance, Utilization and repurchase intention (컨설턴트 역량이 컨설팅 성과, 활용도 및 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • As the external environment of SMEs is changing drastically, it is necessary to establish an appropriate management strategy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of consultant's competency, on consulting performance, consulting utilization and repurchase intention, and effect of consulting's understanding and participation on consulting performance. Participants were 103 questionnaires collected from 154 SMEs that received technology and management consulting support from the Technology Guarantee Fund. According to the practical analysis result, knowledge(β=.377, p<.001) and attitude(β=.461, p<.001) among the consultant's competencies were positively correlated(R2=.623) with consulting performance, and consulting performance had positive correlation(R2=.668) with consulting utilization and repurchase intention(β=.817, p<.001). Participation in consulting had a moderating effect on the effect of consulting performance on consulting utilization.
