Every year, although the number of game enterprises increases, every game which is developed and distributed by these enterprises do not have competitiveness. One game even increasing competitiveness and added value of game industry, we have to develop games which are satisfied with users, and for it, we need scientific research which evaluates about satisfaction. In this paper, We quantatively estimate game satisfaction by using AHP and statistical method. Also we discuss the method which derive distribution of game satisfaction. We can acquire expected effect which predicts satisfaction level and standard about games by using these methods.
With the development of online game industry, the focal structure of game industry is under the expansion from content production to service management. In line with the trend, game service management and user satisfaction to the service as well have gained their weight in the game industry. However, since previous studies have focused on content production, little was discussed on the game service management. The current study investigated the effects of game service on user satisfaction. In addition, we tested the effects of a user's game service satisfaction on the user's loyalty toward the games with consideration of the user's content satisfaction and the gaming period. Results showed that there is a significant association between service satisfaction and user loyalty in the user's continual use of the games. Specifically, light users showed high loyalty with the increase of service satisfaction as they continue playing the games.
The ultimate purpose of game production is to make a game which satisfy game players and to sell maximum of products. In this paper, we suggest an assessment system model which can evaluate game satisfaction degree quantitatively, for preparing foundations that can make games which the suppliers and demanders of game business want. For it, we computed weight of constituent factors for game with AHP method based on survey, and quantified degree of satisfaction for genre of games to score. Also we analyzed affective factors for game satisfaction by SEM using LISREL software. In result, the greatest affective factor for game satisfaction is fun. For making the game with high degree of satisfaction, we propose that constructive investment and enough technology for fun are needed.
To enhance competitiveness of game industry and added value, it needs scientific research and bases that suggest satisfaction standard which quantitatively evaluates satisfaction to develop games which have high satisfaction for demanders. Specially, scoring of satisfaction factors and estimation of population distribution are important task. This allows which a game have high or low satisfaction compared to other games. Also we predict improvable factors and technical aspects to promote satisfaction. For it, in this paper we discuss ways to normalization of score distribution for satisfaction factors and estimate its density function using parametric density estimation by simulation.
In order to predict satisfaction and performance of sensible healthcare game using motion recognition sensor, this study analyzed the effects of flow, presence and social cognitive factor and then, it attempted to verify structural relationships thereof. Self-efficacy, being a social cognitive factor, was found to affect the level of functional satisfaction of health game but it showed no direct effect to intention of using game. Flow experience was also observed to be a meaningful predictor for the level of functional and entertainment satisfaction in the direction hypothesized. It is also shown that presence exerts a direct effect on functional satisfaction. Finally, it is discovered that functional satisfaction has meaningful influence on entertainment satisfaction as well as future intention to use. The results verifies that even in sensible healthcare game, user experience and social cognitive factor have significant effects on satisfaction and performance of a serious game.
To strengthen the competitiveness of the game industry, one needs to develope a tool for evaluation of the satisfaction level of the game users, which leads to the improvement of the quality of games and increment of the amount of game trade. In this study, we developed factors to measure the satisfaction level and estimate their distributional properties. For the purpose, using a survey data for RPG games, we discussed several aspects for normalization of score distribution for satisfaction factors and estimated their density function by use of parametric density estimation of SAS/INSIGHT. We believe that the proposed results help us to predict or estimate the satisfaction level of newly developed games as well as the current popular games.
In this study, the effect of amount of use of mobile game (time of use, consumption cost) on the perceived satisfaction level (perceived enjoyment, service quality, and price) of game and commitment is to be observed. If the amount of game use is high, are the satisfaction level and commitment of game high as well? Is there any factor of negative effect on game commitment? As a result of study, among the mobile game use behaviors subjected in this study, higher the amount of use and consumption cost, more the level of satisfaction level and commitment on game. This study is to verify and analyze the high level of perceived satisfaction and commitment on mobile game by users with high amount of use to expand and to discuss the base of study of heavy mobile game user and heavy digital game user.
A study examined the causal effects of online social self-efficacy on online game life satisfaction. A total of 1,754 Korean online game users who play 'Goon-Zu' completed a questionnaire developed by the present researchers. The results were as follows. First, there was a significant positive correlation among online social self-efficacy, social support from online game community, online relation satisfaction, and achievement satisfaction in online games. Second, it was found that the partial mediation model explained the data better than the full mediation model.

The purposes of this study were to find out the effect of children's and adolescents' achievement through the online game on their self-efficacy, school adjustment and life satisfaction in accordance with the degree of their online game playing. In heavy user group, children's and adolescents' achievement through the internet game had positive effect on their self-efficacy, school adjustment and life satisfaction. Also their self-efficacy mediated the relationship between their achievement through the online game and school adjustment, achievement through the online game and life satisfaction. This study investigated the fact that children's and adolescents' achievement through the online game affects their real life and found out positive possibility of the online game.
