Rapid demolition of locally damaged steel truss bridge (국부손상 철골 교량 구조물의 긴급해체 사례)

  • 인공재해와 자연재해로 인해 발생하는 비정상 하중에 의해 국부손상이 발생된 철골 교량 구조물은 추가적인 2차 붕괴의 위험요소들을 내재하고 있어 신속한 전면 해체가 요구된다. 본 시공 사례는 건설실패와 태풍 및 지진으로 국부손상이 발생된 철골 트러스 구조의 교량의 긴급해체를 위해 발파해체 공법을 적용한 사례이다. 철골 부재의 절단을 위해 성형폭약이 필요하지만 현지에서 수급이 불가능한 상태이기 때문에 장약용기를 직접 제작하고 에멀젼 폭약을 충전하여 만든 성형폭약을 이용하여 발파해체에 적용하였다. 직접 제작한 성형폭약을 이용하여 발파해체한 결과 철골 부재가 정확히 절단되면서 교량의 중앙부가 수직자유낙하하고, 교량의 양 끝단은 지지부를 중심으로 회전낙하 하였다. 또한 존치 구조물 및 주변에 피해가 발생하지 않았으며, 발파 후 파쇄 상태는 매우 양호하였다. 이로 인해 직접 제작한 성형폭약의 절단 성능을 확인할 수 있었으며, 신속하고 안전하게 국부손상이 발생된 구조물을 해체하였다.

원자력시설의 입지접근방식에 관한 고찰

  • 경제성장과 생활향상에 따라 증가일로에 있는 전력에너지를 효율적으로 공급하기 위해서는 원자력발전소의 증설이 불가피하다고 판단하여 정부는 이에 대한 중장기계획을 수립하여 추진하고 있다. 아울러 원전에서 발생하는 방사성폐기물을 처분할 시설의 입지를 위해서도 수차에 걸쳐 노력을 하여왔다. 그러나, 1970년대에 건설이 이미 완료되었거나 건설을 착수한 것 외에는 원자력시설의 입지에 지금까지 성공한 것이 없다. 입지실패의 원인 중 하나는 그간 입지정책을 추진해 오는 과정에서 입지 접근방식에 대한 검토가 부족하여 입지전략이 제대로 수립되지 않았던 때문인 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구는 원자력시설을 입지시키기 위해 널리 활용되어 온 시설입지 접근방식들을 구체적으로 고찰하여 시설입지에 대한 반발현상을 체계적으로 이해함으로써 원자력시설의 성공적인 입지에 첩경이 되고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 결과, 성공적인 시설입지를 위해서는 어느 하나의 특정 접근방식에만 주안점을 둔 전략 모색은 결코 바람직하지 못하고 입지추진단계와 절차 및 대상 등에 따라 세 가지 접근방식을 적절하게 활용하는 전략을 모색하여야만 시설입지에 대한 반발을 효과적으로 극복하고 시설을 성공적으로 입지시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

A Study on the Improvement of Architectural Design Contract Phase in the Overseas Construction Market through the Analysis of Inefficient Factors (효율성 저해요인 분석을 통한 건축설계분야의 해외건설 계약단계 개선방안에 관한 연구)

  • Following the successful entry of Korean builders into overseas construction markets, Korean architects have also become active abroad, and have expanded their market share centered on the Southeast Asia and Middle Eastern areas through Design-Build contracts. However, there have also been However, conflict can arise among the project applicants in the contract stage due to the special characteristics of overseas construction. This sometimes leads to the failure of a project. Using statistics and case studies, this study identified problems in the overseas construction market. It analyzed inefficient factors of the architectural design contract phase in the overseas through a survey and an interview of specialists. Based on the results, this study suggested a master architect system, and some resolutions to the problems of organizing an internal evaluation system. It is expected that the results can be used as practical data for companies that want to advance into the overseas market.

  • As construction project has been becoming larger, specialized and complicated, it is important to utilize a lot of information that is made by diverse participants. Especially this information is mainly produced in construction site that plays a leading role in construction project. The problem of information exchange between participants of construction site causes decline of construction productivity. So as to resolve this problem, there is a many interest in BIM(Building Information Modeling) that makes and manages a necessary data during building life cycle. But in Korea construction industry, applying BIM in construction phase is less active than in design phase. Through studying previous research, this study classify the main cause of failure related to information exchange in framework construction. And by interviewing expert, it draw a work that is possible to apply BIM. Next through analyzing framework construction site that is applied with BIM, this study proposes specific information flow model for supporting work by BIM.

  • The apartment reconstruction projects have the proper functions such as residential environment improvement and the new housing allocation system; however, intention of the projects are distorted by the combination of factors, like failure of relocation of the original occupants and income redistribution, speculation in real estate, sharp rise in housing price, disputation between various interested parties, inadequate system and etc and it makes the projects unable to go well. Disputations and litigations are due to spread of the small conflict. As a result of the problems, it could not going smoothly and that lead to increase or stop the period and cost. This study is to estimate the period and cost using the conflict index so as to prevent and solve the problem which is among the conflict in the reverse functions. The conflict index has estimated focus on the conflict impact and the period and cost has been estimated using an variable independent including the conflict index. Also, estimated the conflict index and estimate of the period and cost are able to succeed with a minimum of disputation and money.

  • 가뭄은 장기간에 걸쳐 광범위하게 발생하는 특징으로 인해 자연재해뿐만 아니라 사회·경제적으로도 큰 피해를 야기한다. 즉, 가뭄으로 인한 댐의 용수 공급 부족은 공업·농업뿐만 아니라 국민들의 생활에도 상당한 피해를 미친다. 하지만, 가뭄으로 인한 지역의 피해정도는 해당 지역의 특성 또는 가뭄에 대한 지역의 대처 능력에 따라 매우 상이하게 나타난다. 따라서, 가뭄에 의한 피해를 저감시키고 안전한 용수공급이 이루어질 수 있도록 지역의 특성 및 용수 공급 체계를 고려한 위험 정도를 분석하는 것이 필요하며, 사람들과 직접적인 연관성이 높은 물수급 관련 인자들을 고려하여 가뭄의 잠재적 영향 및 피해정도를 파악할 수 있는 가뭄 위험도 평가가 수행되어야 한다. 그러나 용수공급 및 수요 현황을 반영한 가뭄 노출성 및 취약성 평가는 아직 부족한 실정이며, 각 인자에 대한 가중치를 산정하는데 설문조사 또는 단순평균방법이 많이 이용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 용수공급 체계 및 지역적 특성을 고려하고 객관적인 가중치 산정방안이 적용된 확률·통계적 가뭄 위험도를 평가방법을 제시하였다. 먼저, 용수공급 실패 사상의 발생 확률이 적용된 결합가뭄관리지수(Joint Drought Management Index, JDMI)를 통해 가뭄노출성지수(Drought Hazard Index, DHI)를 산정하고, 각 인자에 대한 영향정도를 객관적으로 판단할 수 있는 가우스 혼합 모델을 활용하여 가뭄취약성지수(Drought Vulnerability Index, DVI)를 산정하였다. 이 두 지수를 결합하여 가뭄위험도지수(Drought Risk Index, DRI)를 계산하고 위험도 평가를 수행하였다. 충청지역에 적용한 결과, DHI는 용수공급 실패 사상의 발생확률이 큰 보령시가 가장 높게 나타났으며, DVI는 농업적 요소의 가중치가 크게 산정됨에 따라 청주시가 가장 높게 산정되었다. DHI와 DVI가 결합된 DRI의 경우는 청주시가 가장 위험한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, DRI가 가장 높은 청주시는 충정 지역의 가뭄 위험 경감을 위한 대응 수립시 우선적으로 고려되어야 한다.

A Study of Pre-assessment Framework for Business Environment for Delivering Projects in a New Overseas Market (해외 신규 시장의 프로젝트를 수행하기 위한 사업환경 사전조사 프레임웍에 관한 연구)

  • Due to a significant decrease in the number of construction projects in the domestic market of Korea, overseas expansion of the Korean construction companies has been accelerated in recent years. However, the practice of bidding at a low price and lacking information about foreign new markets caused many companies to fail in their entries to these markets. As a measure to prevent such failures, this study has developed a framework which first defines the key research items that must be identified beforehand and then classifies them into a structured way so that the construction companies can actually use this framework to be better prepared for their forays into the new markets. The framework was actually applied for a construction project in Morocco, and its usefulness was proven by the user's successful participation into the project, nevertheless the application and result was limited. Although perhaps this framework should be applied to many more construction projects for its validity to be verified and for its structure to be better standardized, the framework still has its value due to the following two reasons: first, it has systemized the research items that had been only conceptually defined but had never been organized, and second it can be utilized as a investigation tool at the marketing stage.

  • Last Planner System (LPS) developed by Lean Construction Institute consists of four steps: Master Schedule, Phase Schedule, Lookahead Planning and Weekly Work Plan. This paper focuses on the process of measuring Percent of Plan Completed (PPC) at the weekly Work Plan stage. PPC means the percentage of weekly assignments completed. According to the results of the researches that deal with PPC from many other countries, we can assure the benefits or using PPC. However the concept of PPC is unfamiliar in Korea construction industry. This paper analyzes the cases in which PPC is applied in other countries and compares them with the production control system in Korean construction industry. The results of this research will provide the time management system for using PPC in Korea.

Entrepreneurship Education and Entrepreneurial Intention: Fear to Start-up and Start-up Communities in Class (기업가 정신 교육과 창업 의도: 창업 실패에 대한 두려움, 창업 동아리를 중심으로)

  • Fear to start-up failures has been known to have a negative impact on entrepreneurial intention. This is one of the reasons why the government adopts a policy to help university students overcome their fear of start-ups. Setting educational goals to foster innovative and progressive entrepreneurs, universities have been conducting entrepreneurship education, but it is hard to say that constructive results have been achieved so far. Rather than adopting the practice of optional entrepreneurship education, there is a need to have all university freshmen mandatorily take the course of entrepreneurship education. This study aims to uncover the impact of more aggressive entrepreneurship education position in the university by analyzing empirical data. The relationship between an entrepreneurship level and entrepreneurial intention was tested, and start-up fear was also considered. In the research model, self-leadership and self-efficacy were included as regressors to entrepreneurship levels. Especially, this study tested moderate effects of start-up community during the course. The results from the sample of 2,500 freshmen indicate that entrepreneurship level is significantly improved by taking the course; however, fear to start-up failures remains still. In addition, empirical findings show that putting start-up communities in the entrepreneurship education helps students by moderating self-leadership and self-efficacy. This study extends our knowledge of entrepreneurship education in university by analyzing university freshmen data empirically.

A Study on the Application of the Price Prediction of Construction Materials through the Improvement of Data Refactor Techniques (Data Refactor 기법의 개선을 통한 건설원자재 가격 예측 적용성 연구)

  • The construction industry suffers losses due to failures in demand forecasting due to price fluctuations in construction raw materials, increased user costs due to project cost changes, and lack of forecasting system. Accordingly, it is necessary to improve the accuracy of construction raw material price forecasting. This study aims to predict the price of construction raw materials and verify applicability through the improvement of the Data Refactor technique. In order to improve the accuracy of price prediction of construction raw materials, the existing data refactor classification of low and high frequency and ARIMAX utilization method was improved to frequency-oriented and ARIMA method utilization, so that short-term (3 months in the future) six items such as construction raw materials lumber and cement were improved. ), mid-term (6 months in the future), and long-term (12 months in the future) price forecasts. As a result of the analysis, the predicted value based on the improved Data Refactor technique reduced the error and expanded the variability. Therefore, it is expected that the budget can be managed effectively by predicting the price of construction raw materials more accurately through the Data Refactor technique proposed in this study.
