  • This study investigated the effects of meaning of life and depression on the health-promoting behaviors of community-dwelling elderly people, as well as the effects of community programs on their depression, meaning of life, and health-promoting behaviors. Collected data were analyzed by ANOVA, paired t-test through SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. The demographic characteristics, depression, meaning of life, and health-promoting behaviors of the participants were analyzed using descriptive statistics that calculated real numbers and percentages. The participating in community programs resulted in a decrease in depression(t=2.379, p=.010) and significant increase in meaning of life(t=2.421, p=.009) and health-promoting behaviors(t=2.316, p=.012) and recognized the importance of community role for healthy old age. Based on this, we propose active participation of the community for the health of elderly people and development of programs suitable for the subjects.

  • RI & RG are used in various field such as medical field, industrial field, agricultural and food&life field. The number of small nuclear facilities is on the increase. We need to take an interest in decommissioning of small nuclear facility and predict the occurring problem from facility decommissioning. Because of the relatively low radiation risk, the preparation of the small nuclear facility dismantling is often neglected. As the accident in Goiania, Brazil showed, the impact of the decommissioning of small nuclear facilities is not less than the large nuclear facilities although it may seem dangerless. Therefore, we analyzed the each institutional characteristics of the decommissioning of small nuclear facilities through foreign case study on this research. Also, we proposed several considerations on decommissioning such as reuse of facility and source, lack of space, stakeholder involvement and failures of protection. Through these study, we tried to make guideline of the small nuclear facilities decommissioning.

  • Intuitions in independence formed by common language help and also hinder the establishment of new conceptual system about independence as a mathematical term. Intuitions which entail such conflicts can be a driving force in explaining independence but at the same time, it is the impedimental factor causing a misconception. The goal of this paper is to help students use the intuitions properly by distinguishing helpful intuitions and impedimental intuitions. This paper suggests that we need to reveal in teaching the misconception resulting not from mathematic but from linguistic interpretation of independence. This paper points out the need for the clear distinction of independence of trials and independence of events and gives an counterexample of the case that sampling with and without replacement shouldn't be specified as a representative example of independence and dependence of events. The analysis of intuition in this parer is based on intuitions classified by Fischbein and this paper analyzed institutions applied to the concept of independence corresponding intuitions classified by Fischbein.

  • Building information modeling (BIM)-based construction projects have increased and become more varied, and as such the management of BIM-based facility information is also increasingly important for facility maintenance. Information management, and specifically product data mapping, however, has some problems in the area of manual data entry and does not adequately consider the exchange requirements of facility maintenance. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce a method to improve the management of composite object information for BIM-based facility maintenance so that it can handle construction operation building information exchange (COBie) data for a composite object. Therefore, we present a method to map COBie data to related materials of a composite object. This research contributes to increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the required information mapping between a building model and product data using a BIM library through optimal BIM data adoption. Moreover, it allows for the creation and management of specific product data at the design development phase.

  • Recent years have witnessed a surging popularity of games based on augmented reality and virtual reality. While old games embody virtual reality within the game platform, recent popular games based on augmented reality and virtual reality incorporate reality into virtual worlds. They present a new genre that is unprecedented, combined with what gamers have a passionate desire for, and thus provide new experiences. Good examples include smartphone games that were the game changer of the gaming industry in 2010 and the sensational $Pok{\acute{e}}mon$ Go that is gaining popularity nowadays. This study, thus, set out to analyze "gaming act(GA)" directly connected to the experiences of gamers to shed light on games as experiential content. The study analyzed gaming acts based on Park Sang-woo (2009) and assumed that gaming acts would change greatly according to the degree of real space intervening in game space; thus, examining changes to the gaming acts of games in two aspects of realizing virtual space from imaginations in game space and reproducing virtual space in real space.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the first social work values scale in Korea. Its development would be expected to increase empirical studies on social work values. Based upon the literature review of social work values, the examination of codes of ethics as well as existing scales, and the comments from professionals in this field, 62 preliminary items were developed. Preliminary items were evaluated with a total of 521 social workers who were working in various fields of social work in Seoul and surrounding areas. A series of exploratory factor analyses were conducted to find out the optimal structure of the scale. After deleting 29 items with low factor loadings or being cross-loaded, the scale is composed of three factors with each factor having 11 items. Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the factor structure of the scale obtained by exploratory factor analysis. The first factor was named autonomy, the second factor was named equality, and third factor was named paternalistic intervention. Each component of the social work values scale is found to be reliable and valid.

  • The purpose of this study is to see the effects of school climate on school violence and fears of attending school. The direct relationship between school climates and fears of attending school will be examined, as well as the indirect and mediated effects of school violence in that school climates influence the fears of attending school. A theoretical model of the relationships of school climates, school violence, and fears of attending school will be given. The subjects of the surveys were chosen from 12 junior high schools in the Seoul, Gyeonggi area through convenience sampling. 1,317 surveys were then analyzed. School climates directly affect the fear of going to school through the mediums of peer and teacher violence. The derived results stress the necessity of improving school climates in order to reduce violence from peers and teachers and to reduce fear of attending school.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of social capital in families on depression of adolescents. It also examines whether adolescents' self-esteem mediates the relationships between social capital in families and depression. This study uses 2,306 adolescents drawn from the $3^{rd}-5^{th}$ Korea Youth Panel Survey(KYPS). The results are as follows. First, adolescents with high level of social capital in families are less likely to experience depression. Second, adolescents with high level of social capital are more likely to have high level of self-esteem. Third, adolescents with high level of self-esteem are less likely to experience depression. Lastly, social capital in families has impacts on depression through self-esteem. Thus, it is necessary to increase social capital in families to address adolescents' depression. Developing intimate relationships between parents and adolescents is needed to increase social capital in families. It is also necessary to develop programs and services to enhance self-esteem of adolescents, which will prevent or address adolescents' depression.

  • Identifying Emerging Technology Trends is crucial for decision makers of nations and organizations in order to use limited resources, such as time, money, etc., efficiently. Many researchers have proposed emerging trend detection systems based on a popularity analysis of the document, but this still needs to be improved. In this paper, an emerging trend detection classifier is proposed which uses both academic and industrial data, SCOPUS and PATSTAT. Unlike most pre-vious research, our emerging technology trend classifi-er utilizes supervised, semi-automatic, machine learning techniques to improve the precision of the results. In addition, the citation information from among the SCOPUS data is analyzed to identify the early signals of emerging technology trends.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of adolescent victimization on human rights consciousness and the mediating effects of depression and evaluation on their own human rights among adolescents. A total of 3,662 middle school student data from '2014 Korean Children and Youth Human Rights Survey' were used for the study. This study analysed a hypothesized research model using structural equation modeling. The main findings on structural model are as follows: First, victimization did not have a direct influence on human rights consciousness but had an indirect effect through a mediating role of evaluation on their own human rights. Secondly, victimization were related to human rights consciousness through double mediating paths of depression and evaluation on their own human right. Finally, human rights education, a control variable, had an indirect effect on human rights consciousness through self-evaluation on human rights. The results of this study suggest some implications for practical intervention and further research on the relation between adolescent victimization and human rights consciousness.
